Just got back from my Siargao trip a day ago and I’m so excited to give a review about this hostel. Arrived late in the afternoon and was greeted by the Owner Coy who’s so friendly and comfortable to talk to. He explained all the simple rules of the hostel like “Clean as you go” and no outsiders allowed except for the check in guests which is so ok. They will give you basic things as expected bed, a pillow and a blanket. A separate shower and toilet room and a kitchen where you can cook if you want. What will you gonna love about this place is the vibe and amazing people that you will gonna meet during your stay. Paolo the manager/tour guide/ everything else lol is super friendly and accommodating. It feels like you found a long time friend in him. There’s an activity everyday for everyone, he makes sure that you will be leaving the place with a smile in your face and tears in your eyes because you found a new home. Paglaom Hostel will make sure that you became friends with everyone, friends that you will cherish along the way of your travel journey. #Paglaomisourhome #Paglaomers will surely be coming back here over and over…

Paglaom is one of the best hostels I’ve ever been too! Paolo makes you feel welcome immediately and includes everyone in group activities and meals. The family dinners are great and the general vibe is unlike a lot of other hostels I’ve been to & everyone acts like a family. I was very sad to leave and will hopefully be back soon!

Best hostel in Siargao. You will leave with crazy memories and some life-long friendships. Siargao is truly an amazing island, but staying at Paglaom made it one of the best places I went to in 8 months of travel. Stayed here for a month but easily could've stayed a couple more if I didn't have a flight home. A lot of us extended our stays, and missed flights to stay longer. You'll end up having a little island fam, and we did everything together - surfing at cemetery, chilling at cloud 9, and dinners at the boulevard. Family dinners are also the best!!! Hostel setup is sick, everything is outdoors, common area is perfect for naps. No AC so don't stay here if you are fussy. Puzzle is the cutest hostel doggo and is always down for a cuddle. If you're travelling solo, don't stay anywhere else. I miss this place a lot and can't wait to be back! Lastly, cheers to Paolo for being the best host.…

plus an extra entertainer, its paolo the host. freaking nice guy, helpful fun and a biiig heart. the hostel itself is easy, very comfy and it has everything you need to enjoy a stay in general luna. best part of my stay was family dinners and morning surfs and going out for rum coke and some booty shakes. friends i made there will be friends forever. i will come back soon!

It was a blast staying in this hostel and great things happen afterwards which I did not expect at all. I really enjoyed and will always cherish the time I have shared with everyone I met in here. The family vibe is definitely there specially during family dinner where all guests will showcase their masterchef skills. I misses so much Jasmine's thai curry and Yoav's egyptian spaghetti. Hehe A true a paradise let alone the island itself plus I have made life long friends through my stay. All credits to Paolo who let me stay out of my comfort zone. He is such an amazing person and best hostel manager everrrr... Cant wait to go back very soon. ❤ PS. Please keep Paolo away from alcohol by giving him a box of Krispy Kreme. A wonderful place with the cutest hostel pets on the best island in the world. ‘Paglahome’ has the best vibes with the perfect mix of party and chill. Paolo is hilarious and makes you feel instantly welcomed. Dorms are basic but comfortable and huge, there’s so much space for your things. There is a kitchen with plenty of storage with everything you need, it really feels like home. People tend to stay for a long time which is great, it can be a little hard to settle into the group at first when everyone already knows each other so well. The daily activities such as family dinner and trivia night help with that though and you feel like a family in no time. Was so sad to leave but I can’t wait to come back, for longer next time! The best hostel I have ever stayed in! Such a great social vibe which made it feel like home very quickly. The 5-night minimum stay makes it great to get to know the other guests. I was originally going to stay for 1 week and ended up staying for over 3 weeks. The management is really friendly, organised and is always willing to help you with what you need. The hostel itself has a full kitchen that guests can use, and make a dish for family dinner once a week to share with all the other guest. Beds are comfortable with plenty of fans in the dorms and mosquito nets. Will definitely be coming back to stay here again soon!

I personally recommended Paglaom Hostel to my friends especially solo traveler who wants to explore the Siargao Islands. They offer different activities everyday/everynight. You'll feel home when you choose to stay here. Everybody is amazing.
