This place is amazing. The room is so spacious and so is the bathroom. Bed is big and comfy. They have a common kitchen open 24 hours where you can cook your own food. Free coffee and tea. Drinking water in the room. Water from the faucet is coming from a deep well. Yes it is Beachfront. The beach has a lot of sea grass though. A good time to swim is during morning when the tide is high. Beautiful Sunrise! The wet market is a 50 pesos tricycle ride away so you need to list down the things you need for few days to save on fare. There are nearby sarisari stores and ATMs. The downside? The sliding doors of the beach house are too heavy. I spend 5 to 10 mins opening the door because they get stucked on somerhing. So i left it unlocked the whole day when I was on an island tour. They have very friendly dogs ♥️♥️♥️ …
This was such a great stay with the most hospitable people. Chrtistia was so helpful and the one to check us in. She gave us great tips and took the time each day to talk to us, answer questions and make sure we were comfortable. We were right across from the water which made it convenient when we rented a boat to island hop on one of the days. The inside was beautifully decorated, clean, didn't feel posh, just homey. The outdoor kitchen made for great breakfasts each morning as they provided fresh pan de sal, and ingredients for pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, etc. Quiet, yet close to town if we decided to adventure out. Worth booking!
If you want to experience true island life then stay here.. you can literally see the ocean when you wake up. Surfing Carabao have one of the most beautiful beaches right on their doorstep! We stayed in the one of the Beach Kubos, which was simple but wonderful. It has everything you need (air-con, mosquito net around the bed, safe etc). All of the beach houses are in a row with a beach view. Around 10 minutes tricycle ride from General Luna, its close enough to the action, but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet when required. Thank you Surfing Carabao for being everything & more than we expected!
This place is excellent for couples as it makes you feel like you have your own private beach house. The guesthouses are literally in front of the beach and it's quite peaceful. The place has a sharing kitchen, for breakfast you can make your own pancakes and during the day, you can just take whatever drinks you fancy (for a fee of course). The hosts are very nice and the staff the helps maintain the place are great too. We love this place and will definitely go back. We went in the month of January - there are a lot of mosquitos. Take extra precaution by bringing mosquito repellents spray/stickers or long sleeve shirts and trousers in the night.
Best staff, best place , private beach , me and my wife loved this place. Thank you to everyone for your kidness. Good communication, good and nice bungalows, 15min from the center, exactly what we were looking for. Thank you
We had the most amazing time here! First, the staff is very helpful and friendly, they will help with anything and with a smile, the rooms are in front of the beach which is amazing to wake up and seeing that view. They have a common kitchen where you can cook your own food plus every morning theres free eggs and fresh homemade buns, there a pancake mixture, oatmeal coffee&tea for free as well!! And they provide fresh coconuts for free as well:), they rent motorcycle for a great price. The place is 10 minutes away from the center but its a little piece of paradise we didn’t saw nothing like. If you’re looking for a quiet&beautiful place, with great atmosphere this is the place for you.
Away from the touristic General Luna you will experience what Siargao really feels like. Welcoming stuff, simple but clean rooms that have charme. And the houses are right next to the beach. A place to really relax - We will come again!
Travellers who wants a quiet, near the beach for swimming, homey type, and just to relax after the long day of touring this place is perfectly for you. Surfing carabao is a bit far from General Luna. Tricycle will cost you P50 per head and P30 if you take the Habal-Habal (motorbike ride). The resort doesn’t have their own restaurant but it has a communal kitchen where you can cook your own food. They provide egg, coffee and pancake mixture for free during breakfast. Lee and his wife are very friendly, and always around to help. When we arrived Khristina was there to welcome us. She gave us brief details about the resort, tours and other necessary things you need to know about siargao. All of them are very helpful and approachable even the staff of the resort. Housekeeping who cleans the room everyday for guest’s convenience. Good job guys! …
We stay at Surfing Carabao for 2 day's. The place is good but it's a little bit far from General Luna. There's no restaurant but you can cook your own meal on their common kitchen. We don't like the place bec. the water smell awful. I almost vommited when I used their water. And most of all, the owner from Finland is very intimidated. Very unprofessional.
