We had an amazing stay at Siargao Island Villas in a premier suite! The suite was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. The hotel grounds and gardens were so beautifully maintained. The property is. beachfront and we enjoyed the use of the SUPs and the pool. Breakfast was included during our stay and had a wide variety of food options including Filipino, Indonesian and Western. We also enjoyed the services of the spa. The location is within easy walking distance from many restaurants and shops. The friendly staff at the front desk also helped us book land and island hopping tours and airport transfers. We would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for a memorable family vacation in Siargao!

The first thing I want to say is that I was very much looking forward to experiencing the Siargao island villas. I checked into the hotel, not the warmest check in I have ever experienced, somewhat unwelcoming. The grounds are on first impressions not too bad, I had a garden room which was dark inside, with dated fixture's and fittings. The pool shape is weird also and the beech not good at all, with cousin less beds. Breakfast was included, however I didn't try it as it was a buffet and didn't look great. I usually just have coffee of a morning anyway, an espresso or an Americano , but I didn't have either one of those as they only offer the already brewed coffee, poor. and for £150 per night you would at least expect a decent cup of coffee. Once my agent booked we were sent information after we made the booking telling us about construction work, ''as a duty of care" they said, however, its important to tell the perspective guest "BEFORE THEY BOOK" as a duty of care, about construction work not after.. at worst its deceit at best its being economical with the truth. Yes and you guessed it!! .... IT WAS NOISY !! On leaving I had a flight at 415pm and asked for a 1pm check out, as it takes 45mins to get to the airport. I was refused. When I shared my thoughts, that this was a bit mean, I was met with "we have to disinfect the room" what can you say to that? Also I went for the private transfer from the airport to the Hotel on arrival, which the hotel charge 2000 pesos for, not on the way back though as I found a local private transfer for a 1000 pesos. Would I return here to this hotel absolutely not.

First time to new places are the most memorable events in life. This is my first time to Siargao and have heard so much about this place. Siargao Island Villas is located in General Luna, about a 40 minute drive from Del Carmen Airport, but very convenient to Gen Luna. My friend booked this hotel and hotel rates for 3 nights were unbelievably inexpensive! Just like Palawan, I also came in to this trip blind, no research, just watching a few YouTuber’s vlogs. Upon checking in, I’m already impressed with the in-closed front desk lobby with its own coffee shop. This resort is also on the beach. It’s a completely beach style resort with a variety of Suites, either on the ground floor or upstairs, sort of townhouse style Suites. Hotel Amenities include swimming pool, a Fitness Center that is being constructed at the moment, complimentary breakfast at the pool side restaurant, 24/7 front desk with concierge service for booking activities, a gift shop and the beautiful Sarong Spa equipped with air-conditioning! The room my friend booked was a Premier Suite. Room was furnished with a King Size Bed, air conditioning, in-room safe, spacious bathroom, mini refrigerator, but no television which is fine because you’re on vacation. There’s also a lanai area with plenty of seating/day bed and complimentary WiFi. Hospitality service is outstanding from the front desk, bellmen, housekeeping, and all the staff and servers at the Pool Restaurant. Sarong Spa features services which me and my friends enjoyed. What I loved most was our massages were upstairs of the front desk with no noise from outside. While getting a manicure/pedicure, I’ve learned that the General Manager is from Indonesia giving the hotel a very Indo-Filipino Ambience and cuisine at breakfast, lunch and dinner. General Luna, Siargao is very safe and has a party vibe with lots of bars, restaurants, tattoo and coffee shops. You’ll receive one of the best hotel experiences at this beach resort. Siargao Island Villa receives a 5 Star rating from me!

We were disappointed with some aspects of our stay here as follows: We arrived early due to our flight time and were RUDELY told by the receptionist that checkin was 2:00 pm and we should go away and come back ! It was not the welcome we expected to be honest - maybe a welcome drink could have been offered or someone could have shown us around the property. Then when we tried to checkout no one was available to help us - I had to plead with the security guard for help with our bags and then when he had to pay 800 pesos for our transfer to the airport he had no change to give us - I had even asked about this the previous day ! We should have been at the airport at 6:00 am but we were late and nearly missed our checkin time !! We were so stressed out ! Simply not good enough Island Villas ! There is loud construction next door so if you want a nap on the balcony in the afternoon, you WILL be disturbed - DO NOT BOOK if this will annoy you. The restaurant has limited choices based around Indonesian dishes - not many other options available but the food is ok. The restaurant bathroom was filthy on the day we arrived - shocking really ! Our room was large and comfortable and we were impressed with how housekeeping kept it clean. There is no TV in the room but the WIFI is excellent. The gardens are beautiful. The beach is ok but not really good for swimming. So unfortunately we had to rate this property average. They need to take better care of their guests individual needs and pay more attention to detail - if they did that, it could be wonderful.

First came to SIV in 2020 and it was nice then but even better now with the their spa, store, pool/deck. The beachfront access and view also make it a top choice. The staff is great and Warung, no doubt the best Indo food on the island. Location is great too (not in the thick of General Luna bustle but close enough)! Spring for the Island Villa.

We had a great time! Close to the action in General Luna but at the same time very relaxing. Staff helpful and friendly. Good drinks and food. Relaxing. No tv which was a surprise but maybe that was a good thing! WiFi excellent. Didn't make breakfast though as it finishes early - 9am which is a bit too early when you are seeking a relax and relation break but hey heaps of decent places to eat close by. Always trikes out the front so easy to get around

Great Stay, we stayed In a premier suite which was spacious and clean. Only thing was there was a lot of limescale on the sink basin and shower wasn’t the best but overall a great stay. Food was great and breakfast was really good and plenty of options. Sea front view was amazing, pool towels were easily accessible and you had the option to use a paddle board. Would recommend and would come back again

Everything was great! The common areas, the restaurant and the beach front room were all well maintained. The staff/partners were all very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was good and the regular restaurant menu was reasonably priced. We will definitely consider staying here again if we go back to Siargao.

Room: The room itself was clean, spacious and cozy. The bathroom and shower did not have hot water and the lack of water pressure was irritating. The outside shower was a nice ambience until I looked at the wood palette in the morning. It had black mold. Not sure when they cleaned it last. Massage: Booked a two hour massage. the therapist thought I was sleeping, she rubbed my temples for about 15-20 minutes. Minimal pressure. Halfway during the massage I asked her to apply more pressure...no satisfaction. Restaurant: We had dinner and breakfast. aside from the basic general bacon, eggs, bread, fruits, coffee, juices...the food was Malaysian. The quality was average and the service was a little slow. You would expect faster service for only 3 tables occupied.

Not the best breakfast but service and room is wonderful. If you can avail the room without breakfast, do it. This isn’t the place with good breakfast food and there are so many options of good places to eat along General Luna. The service and room was delightful. It’s a plus that you can use the paddle board for no additional fee or join the yoga class for as long as you’re a hotel guest. The outdoor shower is liberating. I would definitely come back and stay here again.
