I was not expecting such an excellent hotel based on the location of Borongan. I was surprised of its modern design and features. Primea hotel is about 3 years old, but it still feels new. So you know, management takes care of the property. The deluxe room I got was spacious, with comfortable bed, fluffy pillows and covers. The A/C works. The bathroom is also modern and roomy. No foul smell like other provincial accommodations. Shower dispenses hot water. You order breakfast the night before. The bangus is fine. Avoid the tapa. They serve good brewed coffee. My only gripe is the free wifi does not extend to the room. Other than that, this hotel is an excellent place to stay when in Borongan. The price is very reasonable.

Disclosure: I traveled quite a few and have my piece of hotel horror stories. I am critical when it comes to customer service because my field or work is service oriented. I used to work for Expedia also so I got familiar with the hotel industry. Staying at Primea Hotel was an experiment for me. I am from Borongan and can basically stay where ver with my relatives. But I decided to give it a shot. My expectations were not that high because I have seen hotels been given 10 stars customer rating but the reality was horrible. What is amazing about Primea is the eagerness of the employees to help you. You would see, feel and experience Hospitality at its best - genuine! The whole hotel was CLEAN not a speck of dust. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was polished. This is how you define the statement "worth it" and that is when everything works together to give you the comfort. I am not an easy person to please when it comes to hotel, my wife knows that. But staying here... made me really happy!

Stayed a total of 3 nights and couldn't be more pleased. The room itself had good size, all the luxuries you need (based on US standards), awesome balcony to step out onto and watch the city move to the beat of its own drum. Great location within the city, walking distance to shops and restaurants or you can easily hitch a short ride on a trike for cheap to the rest of the city to really feel the pulse of it all. But the most rewarding convenience is the cafe located just past the hotel lobby. Well executed simple yet tasty dishes served up by warm staff that made you feel at home. This has surpassed our expectations. We only hope to return soon.

Except for the call I received from their front desk (days prior to my stay) trying to cancel my already confirmed reservation in favor of another client, the services of the hotel were beyond good. The staff were friendly and accommodating when we arrived. The room was clean and comfy. Food was okey. The hotel has a nice rooftop pool where you can enjoy and relax. It is also situated in the center of the downtown area which made all other establishment accessible. Its a few meters away from the church, the municipal hall, groceries and pharmacies. Its price also is reasonable. I truly is a value for money.

Was a very delightful surprise! Very high quality fixtures, comfy pillows, sheets and bedsheets changed every day plus a very respectful staff. In the centre of Borongan, walking distance to the plaza and cathedral. Definitely the place to stay in Borongan!

My family has stayed several times in this hotel that's located right in the heart of Borongan. It's a few steps from the Hamorawon Spring--the reason Borongan became a town. Should read more on that, if you're interested in history. It's also near the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady and the City Hall and City Plaza. There's a restaurant in the ground floor and room rates are usually with complimentary set breakfast--though the choices are somewhat limited. As of this writing, they have not completed the construction of a dipping pool in the penthouse, contrary to what their website states. On most months, except for September which is Fiesta season and the time when a lot of foreigners and balikbayans come home, the rates in this hotel come with a 25% discount. We stayed in the premier, deluxe and junior suite but best value is the premier twin in the upper floors. The premier rooms have access to a balcony and the view of the sunrise is excellent plus you can see the Loom River and the rest of the city from the balcony. The Junior Suite is surprisingly wide and features a bathtub. If you have your own car, you'll find a little difficulty parking during the day because the building also houses a government office in the ground floor and a hardware and bakery are right across the street. Although after 7:00PM these establishments close so you can park across the street and just ask the hotel security guard to keep an eye on your vehicle. The staff a super helpful and pleasant.
