So here's the truth, this place has a home away from home vibe. Very kind owner Luisa would make sure you are 100% satisfied. She's very accommodating and will help you with some tips about the city, etc. I definitely recommend this place because of the comfort, calmness and location, you can walk around the neighborhoods with no problem there's always police and local security patrolling everywhere and there's good for sightseeing. Good to stay a couple nights and enjoy around callao/Lima. I also Google "la Punta district " and is ranked as the safest place in Lima district. So that's important to mention.

This small B&B is a gem. Next door to the naval academy. As pretty much always I travelled alone. Despite this i had nothing to fear when walking along the beach at night.I warmly recommend this place. Just make sure you cabdriver really knows where this place is. My second driver did not and did not listen to the customer. Took us forever to get back.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Although the owner didn’t speak much English she was very helpful and extremely friendly and we managed to get by. It was ideal for an overnight stay after a long flight. The location was not too far from the airport and in the morning we were able to explore the surrounding area which was very picturesque next to the sea and naval base.

Let me put the disclaimers first (which is why it has rating of 4, not 5), this is not a place for you if any of below applies to you 1. You want all the upscale shopping and dining nearby like Miraflores. 2. You have limited time and need to catch connecting flight (stay near the hostels in Callao). 3. You want all the amenities and perks like upscale hotel chains. If you're OK with missing certain amenities, I recommend this place. Luisa treated me so well like her family members that I'll be certain to return next time flying into/through Lima. Breakfast is simple, not fancy, Luisa cooks the eggs for you personally. This area of Callao is an enclave from the rest of it with the Peruvian Naval Academy next to it, along with local restaurants and bakeries. There're also guards at Plaza Garvez (usually recommend not getting past Plaza Garvez). Even with limited time, I recommend staying here for 24 hours, just enough to experience where the locals eat and hang out.

Thank you Luisa and Vilma for your hospitality. This place is located in a residential area of Callao. Never felt unsafe, not even at night when we got out for a late dinner at a local restaurant. Very quiet en clean. Breakfast was simple but very tasty. Luisa did provide us with the 2 transfers. We stayed there prior to our cruise, in the Giron room.
