We had a hard time to look for a hotel/room because we forgot to book one and almost all hotel that we've been was fully booked. Then we saw this El Teodoro Lodge. We were so lucky because there's only one room available. After seeing the room, we grabbed it. Because for Php 2,000, the room was so good!! Sulit ang Php 2,000! So clean and nice location. I promise myself when I go back to Baler, I'll go back and check-in here again also.

El Teodoro Lodge is the perfect place in Baler when travelling in groups. The rates are very reasonable, the location is near the beach, the place is quiet at night, the rooms are clean and the staff are very accommodating.
We traveled here in a group and we are able to enjoy Baler and its surrounding attractions and places.
A highly recommended place to stay ;)

We were lucky to have walked-in to this lodge during Black Saturday. Good thing that there was a group of people who needed to go back to Manila and checked out. The room is very spacious and super neat! Working and cool aircon! The room is good for 8 people. There are two double decks and a double bed. The owner is nice and he chats to his guests frequently. His staff were a bit shy though. The lodge has a free drinking water. They have a common area where you can drink. You can get beer from their fridge at anytime. They are building more rooms and nipas for you to chill.
El Teodoro Lodge is very close to the surf spot, walking distance for a minute or two. They also own a breakfast eatery around the block.
This lodge is perfect for groups! It's affordable for 4k for a relaxing night of sleep after a tiring day of surfing and exploring Aurora!

We were a group of around 20 pax - most opted for the big rooms (for 8) while I got the "smallest" room which is good for 2-4 pax. The big rooms are located at the ground floor while the smaller ones are at the second floor. My room was so spacious, it contained two double beds but can still fit probably two more additional beds - yep it was that big.
What I also loved about the place is that they have a parking cum garden which is populated by trees so its very relaxing and breeze is cool. They have a couple of long tables in the garden where you can hang out and drink. No corkage! The people there are very accommodating and can run you simple errands like buying beer or cigarettes because they have nearby store. Its not beach front but you'd enjoy its tranquility away from the beach crowd. The beach is actually just a 2 minute walk from this place.
Bonus tip: The restaurant in front of them (Kubli) serves really good food. :)

It's just across the street from the beach and surf and is nice and quiet with plenty of shade. The rooms are very big and clean with nice private baths. There's an attached local restaurant that is a nice place to eat and meet people. Very reasonable prices considering how big and new the rooms are.

The place is super awesome. Check in and check out can be flexible just have to coordinate with the owner well.
The location isn't by the beach but's just a 5 minute walk which I feel is the best spot because it wont be crowded with the tourists but it's just a short walk to the waves.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There's AC, hot and cold water, and even a bidget! It can't get any better than that.
The amenities include a fun lounge place where you can play darts, watch some tv, or just chat with the lodge's owner and staff. Theres also a really comfortable hammock area where an afternoon nap would be the best thing.
The best part is definitely the owner and the staff. They say Baler has the best people, and they weren't kidding. Look for kuya Rey and kuya Joven and they will do their best to make sure your stay is the best!
Won't be looking for another place to stay when I visit; El Teodore will definitely my place to go.

Great recommendation by my brother who planned our baler trip this week (april 24-26).
Economical and practical for families and/or barkadas. Comfortable quarters with just the right ACU hp.
Super friendly and accomodating staff, especially joven (?).
Spacious parking area allows other tent pitchers in but does not seem intrusive at all.
Very accessible to beach entry points.
I will definitely come back :-)
