Very nice! A place for families and friends. The beach is just a 1 minute walk away. Water is overflowing. With jmhot water and areas for luggages. The grilling station is a bonus! Very clean too! The two staff are also very honest. We left one of the ipads outside and they prompted us inside the house.

Due to it not being too expensive, we didnt expected that the place is clean and beautiful too and the rooms are well dressed-up. The attendants are so helpful in giving us guides for our trips and recommends trusted individuals like drivers and surfing trainer too. I wont mind going back. And the beach is a stone throw away from the place. There's a terrace overlooking the beach, the sunset and the sunrise. =)

My recent BALER experience seems to be an unexpected success among my travels. Inspired by the thoughts of waves and surfing, me and my friends decided to go to Baler as the place of our Beshie's getaway. And to our surprise, the place offered more than what we've expected for. So let me count the wonderful Bs in this place. We never had a hard time to get a reservation to BLUE COCO Beach House, the first B that we've encountered among the wonderful Bs of BALER. Although I'm not the one in charge for our booking transaction, I knew that my friend had a hassle free experience. Reading reviews about them made me more interested and true enough, we've able to got more. Upon arrival, the blue and white "Santorini effect" of the place made us relaxed from our almost 7 hours travel from Manila. It's proximity to the beach adds convenience for their guests but at the same time, the distance seems so right for the guests to still have a serene time overlooking the view of the surroundings especially that each room have their own veranda. Although the room is good enough for our group, it's simplicity could still further be improved for the best (like adding table and/or cabinet for the guests belongings, cute pillow cases and blankets, etc.). But I love the cleanliness of the comfort room, (one important consideration that I'm looking at to evaluate my travels). They also have a rooftop that could take you into the best view of the BEACH, the other B that I am talking about. This beach is not really for swimming but rather a very good beach for "star-surfers" like us. LOL!.Surfing is now my newly found hobby, thanks to the other B, BIG HEART of the locals. Believe me, a successful travel must have a good coordination with the locals in the place. And Blue Coco helped us a lot on this. The owner, kuddos to Sir Raymond, is very hands on to their guest (thank you for assisting us to find the best restos in town Sir!), thanks to Ate Mylene who made sure that our room and tour will be the best things ever, to our surfing instructors (also recommended by the resort), thank you for the prestige of being called as an "emerging star-surfer of Baler" , we'll make sure that we will come back again for competitions, LOL! And to our tour guide (as coordinated also to Blue Coco) whom we fondly called KuTe (short for kuya ate) Aris, thank you for the fun-filled trip and activities. KuTe managed to took us to all the places in Baler that are intended for a 3-4 days trip (we only had 2 days 1 night itinerary, but a very good one) with bonus breathtaking angles of our infinite pictures taken by Kute. I am giving the excellent rating because they deserved it and I hope that other future guests could also experience what we had. Final message, our stay at BLUE COCO Baler Beach House gave us the opportunity to enjoy the BIG waves and the BEACH, the BEAUTIFUL tourist spots, the BIG-HEART of Baler locals, which includes Blue Coco people, diving instructors, tour guide, and other locals who willingly helped us all throughout, BEST restos for the good and affordable food, and the BEST experiences that we will keep in our hearts. More power to BLUE COCO!!! Bring it on! We'll definitely see you soon wonderful BALER.---from GorgeousLEN, your star-surfer

A well finished Greek style accommodation with plenty of space in rooms. Blue water, kettle and cups provided. This means with a quick trip to Seven Eleven and your stay is made very comfortable (7 11 is only 5 minute walk away) Great hot water shower (I'm a Westerner not a big fan of Elephant bucket!). Bathroom is a good size and loads of little shelves to stick your bathroom products on. Cable TV with a good signal and very watchable, so enough English films to appease my western tastes Some people said they didn't mind the 5 minute walk to the Beach. Its actually about 130 metres from beach. The views from our room were great. Probably better than most hotels views. We were luckily enough to get this room; other rooms would be a little more restrictive. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Always with a smile and a greeting. Price was right. I would stay here again without any question. It's not a hotel.. it's what they call transit accomodation. If you want that service then this isn't for you. But if you want a comfortable place to lay your hat in good location to beach and bar area then can't go far wrong with here.

It’s a no-frills place with better views than the more up market places. Ask for the room at the top with the big balcony, squarely set in front of the beach framed by two coconut trees. Absolutely stunning for the price and lovely people - can not recommend enough.

We will definitely come back to BlueCoco..we love the vibe and staff..special mention for Mylene , Benjie and Aris (our personable and efficient guide)..thank you for a very memorable stay. This family owned inn is budget and hope it stays this way. I have read some complaints re towels and toiletries which they don't provide to keep the charge down. Anyway we always bring our own towels and toiletries because we hardly use the provided ones. Towel is only P25 each. I'd rather have that instead of staying in places where they overprice everything. The room is quite clean and i love our room (301) which faces the ocean. We enjoyed sitting out and watch the surfers and the big waves. The only reason why i am not giving 5 stars because the beach near the property is a public beach so the garbage is DEPLORABLE. the barangay should do something about it. Surf instructors and sellers can help maintain the place. It is just embarassing.

We went to this place and it was hard to locate. No billboard and signages to locate the area. We have had to asked the locals and the police to find the place. The facilities were average that requires upgrading. The building has an adjacent on-going expansion construction. The place has a three floors and suitable for a group or family renters. Ground floor is used for the sitting, kitchen and toilet. Second and third floor are for bedrooms and toilets. Toilet ceiling at the ground floor is leaking, requiring a repair. Owners were friendly and helpful. Water pressure in the toilet was weak.

Reading comments would help you make a better decision. And it's right Sir Rommel is a very hospitable and entertaining owner. We enjoyed talking to him. While Ms. Connie's food were all so yummy. You could ask them to cook food for you and your tummy will love it. Don't forget to order their cakes or cupcakes. The place is best for those who will only use it for resting and sleeping. A home away from home!
