Very nice! A place for families and friends. The beach is just a 1 minute walk away. Water is overflowing. With jmhot water and areas for luggages. The grilling station is a bonus! Very clean too! The two staff are also very honest. We left one of the ipads outside and they prompted us inside the house.

The owners Rommel and Corry Barlin were terrific hosts. It was our first time to visit Baler and Rommel emailed me a suggested itinerary (3 days/2nights), directions, suggestions to make our trip enjoyable,

This is a house, not a hotel, with two rooms that could comfortably accomodate a big group of 15 adults (us). Both rooms have airconditioning and toilet & bath with water heater. There is cable TV, refrigerator and kitchen where you can cook.

Breakfast is included in the room rate (very reasonable), food is delicious and servings are big. Breakfast is served on a long table just outside the house.

The house is located in a quiet street, about 1 km from the plaza and Sabang beach. It is also near the market and pasalubong center. There is parking space for two vehicles.

This is a hidden gem (so far) in Baler and we plan to stay here again in our next visit.

Me and my wife and our 7month old son stayed here last January 22-24. Sir Rommel, the owner, was really a jolly person and was very accomodating. He gives of that friends -for-a-long-time feel. When we arrived, he gave us a quick tour of the house, gave reminders and gave us a sample itenirary. He gave us good recommendations where to eat which were really spot on. Ma'am Cory (Kuya Buboy's wife) was the one who cooked all pur breakfast and was really delicious, and comes in big servings too! Kuya Buboy even hooked us up with a guide (Aris). What we noticed about the house is that it has plenty of outlet in each rooms. The house was clean and spacious. We can even borrow utensils from Kuya Buboy and cook in the kitchen. Overall, We had a really great experience and I would really, really recommend this place, especially if you're travelling in a group.

I agree with MsKellyG that this is one of the nice bnbs to stay in whenever you are in Baler. I am just going to reiterate some facts about this place. 1. You get a whole house with living room, dining area, one big room with 6 beds and one smaller room with one queen size bed with two bathrooms in each room. The house you will stay in is adjacent to another house where the nice owners stay. 2. Premises are clean and organized. Love the outdoor dining area. 3. Air conditioner in each room is strong and able to cool the rooms in a short time. 4. Water is from an underground source. Pressure not so strong but good enough. No installed heaters. 5. Breakfast is the best time of the day as they really prepare a local feast. 6. You can park 2-3 cars inside their garage or you may park on the street. 7. This place is located around 5 mins from the surfing beach by car. 8. Rommel, the owner is a big guy which can beat the living daylights out of you if you mess up his place. Haha! Just kidding. Rommel is a very nice and humble, helpful, dedicated guy who makes sure his guests are treated well during their stay. You can ask him anything. He is very flexible and knowledgeable about Baler. Oh and his wife bakes yummy cakes which they also serve to their guests. If you want to visit Baler and want to try out this place, give Rommel a call and he will be very willing to assist you in planning your trip to make sure you have a wonderful time. We did. =D

Our family went to Baler, Aurora expecting to explore nature and upon arrival we were surprised to learn that that people are everywhere and we can not find accommodations at all! Thanks to a Tintin Barlin who we met there and learned that they have converted their house into a Traveler's Inn. The Baler Safe Haven bed and breakfast is clean, wholesome and spacious!

We were able to sleep a good night rest! Upon waking up we woke up to a wonderful breakfast! The place is really a bargain for the price they are asking!!!!! We are LUCKY to find this place and make our stay in Baler unforgettable. We were able to enjoy the Giant Balete tree, swam at the river, and laid on the beach all with the help of the owner of the Baler Safe Haven Bed and Breakfast!

Reading comments would help you make a better decision. And it's right Sir Rommel is a very hospitable and entertaining owner. We enjoyed talking to him. While Ms. Connie's food were all so yummy. You could ask them to cook food for you and your tummy will love it. Don't forget to order their cakes or cupcakes. The place is best for those who will only use it for resting and sleeping. A home away from home!

My family and I stayed here with some friends a few weeks ago and we really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and spacious with more than enough power outlets for everyone in our group.

The place also serves very delicious and filling breakfast. Pako (fern) salad with salted egg can be found almost anywhere in Baler, but it was a staple in our diet when we were there. We ordered our dinner in advance from them and every night's dinner was unbelievably good.

The hosts, Rommel and his family, were very warm and accommodating. They give really good recommendations on where to go and what to eat around Baler. We tried the restaurants Rommel recommended and they were really good and affordable.

The place is not exactly beachfront. The beach is, give or take, 5 minutes away by car where most people go to surf.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

We are very lucky to find a place to stay at baler even if all accommodations are fully booked. The place was very nice and very comfortable and convenient to all places that you will visit in baler. The place includes a very nice breakfast that is too much for all and i also enjoyed it because it was a kind of a boodle fight. The place is very clean and because the owner is very hospitable all that you need can be provided for our comfort.the place is very affordable with the amenities they have.I will surely come back to baler and stay in this accommodation. Thanks baler safe haven!

I won't enjoy the trip without my friends. Best part is that this transient house is available where we can slumber without risking comfort over convenience. We avoided the hassle of getting up in the morning to cook for breakfast after a tiring afternoon and evening.
Host are hospitable and nice. I will surely come back

I stayed here from December 29-31 with my sister and my aunt's family from the US. We really enjoyed the hospitality of Mr. Rommel. The breakfast was very delicious and were in big servings. They also offered to provide towels for us when we informed them that we forgot to bring our own.

The rooms were nice and clean. The AC worked perfectly. The bathroom was clean as well. Some might find issue with the lack of warm water, but we had no problem with it.

The B&B is located in a compound so we felt very safe at night, even though the streets of Baler had very few streetlights. Overall, it was a good experience and we would be returning here the next time we visit Baler.
