This is located along Sabang Beach but a bit far from the center of all happenings. It is still okay since you will prefer your quiet and peace to chill during night rather than the craziness of party elsewhere. The beach is right in front if you rent the apartment where surfing lesson is taken. Surf lesson for an hour is ~300 Php. Sunrise is right in front of you. I can name only a few who can see sunrise in a beach in this country and in front of the Pacific Ocean! Just like Boracay, you can walk the beach end to end so if you feel like partying, you can just walk from here to the happening area. It has a terrace where you can chill and hang out. Be careful though as we got through an unfortunate incident of stolen bikini top and bottom as the place/area was as open as it can be and near the beach.

The apartment has 2 rooms - one can fit 4 people inside the queen size bed and has no aircon but the breeze from the ocean is fantastic and there's fan available. The other room can fit 8 adults + 1 kid and has aircon. Bathroom/restroom is shared by the 2 room occupants. Water supply for taking bath was very strong - strongest I have seen from my experience in travelling and filtering is good, we never had any flooding in the bath area despite more than dozen using it for 3D/2N. One glitch was the shower was not working so you will have to use the trusty old "dipper" (tabo).

There's a small eatery but better to eat elsewhere - downtown near Museum Baler if possible as the price there was better (<100 Php a meal). If with personal tumbler, you can ask for free water refill in the small eatery.

Place: as the subject says... room is not extravagant as we took a room with double decks. Its not pricey and the rooms are clean.. the size of the bed even if its a 2 decker is good. Place is clean as well... but dont expect a lavish decor and a bath tub. Its a budget friendly type of accommodation but i cam say its decent. Not sure about the other rooms...

Food: they have a canteen bit not much to offer. Just go around the place and u will get good finds on food. Its not costly and some places offer buffets.. at the town there are good places as well.. lobsters are available but a bit pricey.. just go for the generic lobster called curacha.

What to do.. swim and surf and surf and surf!! U can party at night or eat all the food that you want. Booze is ridiculously cheap.. try the banayad whisky... it does exist. And lambanog called tricola.

Price: not really expensive.. your 3k will go a long way.

Scouted for accommodation in Sabang beach area and compared available rooms (came unplanned). Decided to stay here for the clean and more comfortable looking room. It has good working (and not too noisy) a/c, clean towels and beddings. Parking is right in front of building. Short walk to the beach and food options.

We had it last minute. Perfect place to stay together with your friends. Located at the Beach front with view deck. And less expensive compared to others. Staffs are accomodating. There are also rooms beside the main building, so glad we got the room in front of the beach. :)

The place was decent, new, and clean, however the female caretaker was very rude.

I stayed for one night in February 2018 and never coming back to this accommodation. I checked in early to drop off my stuff before heading to the next town to do a research project. I went back in the lodge later that night feeling exhausted after a field work and immediately fell to sleep, looking forward to have fun the next day.

I was woken up by a blasting music outside around 5:30 in the morning. (Later found out that the sound was coming from the lodge kitchen.) I was feeling a little bit annoyed but decided to start my day anyway even if I was still sleepy. I went outside to take pictures. I set up my tripod facing the sea but it took me a while to take a picture because the caretaker was in the view. She was taking pictures of the lodge and I was in her view. She then rudely told me to move aside and set up somewhere else because I was in her camera's view and she didn't want me in it and that her boss might think that I was a guest (which I was!!). She then pointed me to a sign that says only guests are allowed in the area. I was fuming with anger at her remarks and her lack of tact. I kept my cool and told her that I was indeed a guest and went away. Didn't get any apologies from her.

Personal note: even if for example I wasn't a guest in their lodge, her demeanor was just outright wrong. It wouldn't hurt her to ask me nicely to move aside.

More than a nice a structure, an accommodation should also have nice staff. To her boss, I hope you are reading this

Part of my bucketlist is Baler. So my husband and I decided to go backpacking in Baler on our 1st wedding anniv and Baler never failed us.

Not all part in Aurora has an electricity so please be advice that Amihan Aplaya has this "rotational blackout" since they are only using a generator.

During our first time here, the resort is still under renovation so it's not exactly the same as what you have in mind. Our room has no aircon, but we don't mind that, the weather itself is enough to wake you up in the middle of the night shaking. Haha :)

We did not book in advance so were able to view the room before taking it. It was very clean and relatively new and we liked the location next to the beach. i did not notice there was no wardrobe, drawers, bedside light, waste basket, towels. only a bed,bed side table, and a plastic picnic table and 2 chairs (tv and aircon as well). we slept well though but unfortunately on the second morning after a night of rain our room (17) was completely flooded and everything that was on the floor was wet too! The room was 3,500 peso which i did not think was cheap. They gave us the 2nd night for 2,500 peso
