Room was a bit small. Plus, there is a lack of privacy as outsiders, who go to the restaurant, pass by the room corridors to the resto. No elevator if you get an upper floor room. You can get better value for your money with other lodging establishments.

The last time I reviewed this place it was still an old bungalow hotel. However sometime around 2018, they renovated/reopened as a 5 star hotel (a new building). They now have the best ameneties compared to the hotel's I've stayed in Baler (check my contributions to find the other hotels I'm talking about). The following are key points that convinced me that they have the best accomodation for a reasonable price (their service/room match the most expensive hotel in Baler in my opinion for a cheaper price 3.2k/night as of writing) : Room is spacious even if just the standard room. The room looks like a brand new. The lights can be turned on/off not just near the door but also on the bedside. Room's power depends on the key card that you use to open the room. Their staff is the most accomodating I've ever seen. All of the staff greet you and assist you on what you need. The dining staff is also attentive. When you take a seat in the dining area, they provide water and the menu immediately and answer your questions on the menu. One of the food I liked in the Menu was Mac and cheese. For my Nth time going to Baler, this was the first time that a hotel I stayed in has a housekeeping ringing on our room the second day of our stay to make the bed and replace towels/toiletries. They also provide free drying of clothes instead of letting it hang in the bathroom or window. Staff goes to your room with a laundry bag to put your clothes in and returns it within 20 mins or so. They have a nice pool on the second floor and they provide towels you can use after you swim. They have a shuttle service for the parking/going to hungry surfer if you hate walking. These factors really made me feel that triple A service you expect from a 5 star Hotel My only issue in the hotel is that wifi isn't that good when you are in the room. Also 2 persons are only allowed per room (you can add 2pax for a price but they would be in matresses on the floor). So it's not barkada(room sharing) friendly.

This hotel was renovated and reopened in 2018 and the job was never finished over a year later, though pricing would suggest it was. Inconveniences for us included cheap noisy aircon, loud slamming bedroom doors, no blackout curtains, noisy plumbing, and a shower tray that does not drain. Beyond that the place is somewhat dangerous. The roof area building site is not fenced off and is easily accessed, so very dangerous to children. Smoke detectors in the room still have installation covers on them so are non-functional. There is no onsite parking, and only two spaces for arrivals, before you need to take a shuttle from the carpark. There is no elevator to rooms so inappropriate for anyone with access issues. If all these issues were addressed the place is tastefully done and could be a pleasant location but in the interim it is overpriced, dangerous and unfinished.

The room is neat and clean. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and respectful. There are various choices for breakfast buffet: fresh fruit, fruit juices, an egg station and tons several Filipino dishes. The location is also convenient since it is beachfront, you can easily go and surf. There are several surf board rentals and surfing instructors in the area. Also, there are other restaurants around the area like Yellow Fin Bar & Grill and Baler Surfer Grill. There is also a tricycle terminal in front of the hotel that offers tour around Baler. Their infinity pool is also nice :)

A service-oriented culture is very much appreciated among the employees of Bay’s Inn. From those at the frontdesk, to those in the housekeeping and restaurant, all are very polite and understanding. Everything in the menu was good. We chose to have 3, out of our 5 meals, there. I guess that already tells you a lot! Had second servings of pako okoy, mushroom soup, binakol, seafood chopsuey, laing inasal, pork sisig, chicken sisig, salmon steak, tangingue, mango sansrival, sardines pasta, margharita pizza, potato wedges, even the hopia baboy and coffee we repeatedly ordered. Rooms are classy, clean, comfy and cool🤪 Rates aren’t a bargain but you get your money’s worth👍🏼 The added service of drying your wet clothes daily is a welcome treat. If you don’t get a room with an ocean view, go early to the restaurant and the couches by the door will give you the best view of the sunrise. If not, peep thru the conference hall at the 3/F and you’ll get the view for free🤗

We are a regular customer in Bay's Inn Restaurant. Ever since they launch, we dine in their restaurant. I and my boyfriend were lucky enough to see the upstairs when we were looking for board rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We like eating here cause the view is superb! You'll see the beach and the breeze is really nice. Food is good and affordable. I'm not giving them 5 stars yet cause there's a lot to improve when it comes to customer service. There's lack of attentiveness from the staffs. We came here for my childhood friend's birthday and would like to surprise him with a birthday cake but the staff gave it to the wrong customer! Also, when it's a busy day, the service is noticeably poor. Took 10 minutes to fix our table with mat and serve water. Oh and the mat was wet so, we asked for replacement. Then, my mom noticed a sliced of mango under her chair. The staff cleaned it but not thoroughly so my boyfriend asked again to clean it. Last incident was when I ordered 2nd cup of coffee but it took a long time, I just decided to cancel cause we already had to go. But it's so nice that they gave my mom a free cake for Mother's Day. Thank you! Overall, Bay's Inn has a really nice restaurant and hotel. We will always dine here and would possibly stay just to use the upstairs swimming pool :)

Recently renovated in 2018, Bay's Inn Hotel is on its way to becoming a world-class hotel with just a few remaining tweaks. The hotel's design has been well-planned with spacious rooms, comfortable beds & matching luxurious pillows in the Premium rooms providing a much-desired restful sleep after the long trek to remote Baler. Its pool on the 2nd floor offers an appropriate option for swimmers tired of fearing surfing boards colliding with unprotected bodies as Baler waves splash in its glory. Its staff speaks well of the Filipino hospitality - professional, courteous, helpful and always serving with a smile. Only the parking and lack of diverse and appealing channels on the TV would make you reconsider choosing Bay's Inn Hotel. But a surprised welcome token of pastries and free drying of wet clothes should make you feel validated that Bay's Inn Hotel offers the best value for your buck in Baler.

Since I have been going to and from Baler since 2011, Bay's Inn is my go-to both for accommodation and food. It's reasonably priced given that I was able to score a room located on the beachfront. WiFi is reliable on most days as I needed to squeeze in urgent deadlines at work. The staff is extremely nice as they even lent me a phone because my signal is so bad during one of my visits there. Food is decently priced. My top picks are pako salad, orange chicken, choco banana shake and even their ice cream. You just have to wait a bit longer especially when there are a lot of people.
