Extremely happy that we chose Kahanamoku as our home away from home. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, from the food - healthy, our room- super comfy and clean, down to the people who managed the place (staff/owner) - so hospitable. Will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Very peaceful place, friendly staff, far away from the busy side of Baler but only 20mins away if you want to go to the busy side. Very homey and quiet. There were 6 of us and we stayed in the room for 6. Not too tight since the whole place has shared spaces--dining, chairs outside the room, and other areas.

Kahanamoku is our home in Baler. It’s a quiet and homey place roughly 7km drive from tSabang. The owners are very hospitable and would make you feel right at home. Right across the place is the mangrove garden and beyond it is where the pro surfers hang out.

Love this place! Super chill. Reminds me of B&B's in Siargao! Coconut trees, quiet space and Great service from Staff. The staff were super nice and accommodating. I will stay here again when i do come back to Baler!

A wonderful place in Baler to relax and unwind. The rooms are clean and the whole place is just so lovely. They have two yoga decks and hammocks to chill on. The owners and staff are very accomodating and would readily give you suggestions on where to go. They even let us place food we brought with us in their refrigerator, and even waived our 1 hour-late check-out fee. The location makes it peaceful and away from the crowd at Sabang beach, which is a 20-minute drive away.

We spent 2 night in Kahanamoku during our surfing trip in Apr’18. Very happy that we chose this spot. High quality and well maintained rooms, clean all around, good toilet/shower with hot water. Great location for all attractions. Will definitely stay here next year.

This surfing paradise had this bed and breakfast for more than 2 years now but the place looked very new! Clean, spotless peaceful boutique hotel in the heart of the surfing community. Atmosphere is Zen with Balinese influences. Stayed at the 2nd floor suite with balcony.Hot water with organic body wash and shampoo. And water quality by the beach are normally salty and hard. Not in this hotel. Breakfast set meal is included. No pool but who needs that when you are across the beach. View deck on 2nd floor is great for yoga. Place is peaceful. Staff is soo friendly and warm and always happy to serve. There is a flat screen tv but cable is not ready yet. Price friendly - mini suites have pull out beds to accommodate a 3rd person. I would come back here for sure. There can be

We started our Philippines journey in Baler and my boyfriend had booked 3 nights at Kahanamoku. We arrived late in the night after a 4 hour drive from the province, we were greeted by fairy lights and coconut trees in the dark, it looked amazing even in the night. Ate Carol checked us into our room and took great care of us throughout the stay. The next morning we had a light breakfast, as I am gluten intolerant they arranged for potato hash browns and fruit for me every morning! As we were having our breakfast the owner came up and introduced himself, his name is Jessal! Him and his family is running this place and he is such an amazing person. He took the time to ask about us and where we are from and about our holiday and he just made you feel so welcome! Jessal proceeded

I recently traveled to Baler with my husband and 5-yr-old son and the 6-hour drive was so worth it. Kahanamoku Bed & Breakfast did not disappoint. It was relatively far from the famous Sabang beach where all the surfing action happens but if you're a freak for privacy, silence and relaxation, then Kahanamoku is the right place for you. We stayed in one of their premier rooms and it was just perfect for the three of us. I loved the layout of their different rooms and I also appreciated the quality of their furniture and other fixtures. Service-wise, the owner and staff were very commendable. I really loved the personal touch in their service and how they made sure that we are comfortable and have everything we need. Special mention to Carol, our all-around go-to person during

Purchased vouchers from Deal Grocer and stayed for 2 nights (Nov 18-20). Location-wise, it’s the good kind of secluded. Perfect for those who want to relax without being too far from the main beach (Sabang Beach). Even though we arrived early at 6AM, we were already accommodated and brought to our room (a big plus since we needed to rest from a 5 hour travel from Manila) - note though that they charge for early check-in at Php 100/hour. They also asked if we would want to have breakfast (which we did - also paid for this at Php 160/pax). Food was kinda limited but it’s okay since you’ll be eating a lot while in Baler. Overall, the stay was excellent and we’ll definitely come back soon.
