Lovely place.. truly botique. Loved the white theme, the place was clean with all the necessities. It was a family vacation, the kids loved the pool and the adults the coffee and the palm trees. Lazed around.. ordered a ton of food from the HNGRY MRMD and even tried my hand at surfing.. worth the 5 hour drive from Manila.
What I like most about this property is you have a lounge pool right out your doorstep (we stayed at rooms A1 to A4), a medium sized lap pool under the shade of the coconut trees, and the Baler beach with its trademark waves. It has an exclusive feeling because no other resorts are nearby, and this adds to the peaceful and restful ambiance of the property. It is quiet at night, perfect if you want to have a good night's sleep or chat with family. We had a bonfire at the beachfront after we had our dinner. If you are with family members composed of seniors and young children you've found the right place. They have their own restaurant also so no need to worry about where to eat. Be careful not to misplace or break any linens and glassware in the room so you won't be charged extra for incidentals. …
Baler is one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines. With long sandy beaches, lush jungle covered mountains, waterfalls and some of the best and most accessible surfing in the country, Baler is surprisingly undiscovered. Sabang beach is the most popular beach in the area and can be crowded on the weekends with the few hotels full and very expensive. A much better alternative lies on the other beaches in the area which are both prettier, less crowded and more unique. L’sirene is in an idyllic location on a long, lonely stretch of beach with no other hotels or even any other buildings nearly as far as you can see. It is postcard beautiful and features great breaks for surfing and shady trees and breezy afternoons on the berm of the beach. There is also a nice pool for relaxation after surfing or just cooling off for non surfers. The hotel is well maintained. The food is good and the staff there is friendly, helpful and super accommodating. For example, I had to cancel my last reservations because I couldn’t get there due to the Covid lock down. And hotel management cheerfully canceled the reservation and gave me a full refund. They have always been very helpful on all my visits; giving me rides into town, arranging transport such as the express bus back to Manila. I have stayed in a lot of hotels on my numerous trips to Baler and L’Sirene is by far the nicest and the best value. It’s location and staff make it a must stay if you visit Baler. I highly recommend L’Sirene!…
It was our first time travelling to Baler. We are a family of three, our toddler is 3 years old. We booked 13 out of the 15 rooms in L'Sirene and happy to say we all enjoyed our stay. The rooms are big in size and the two queen beds are worth the money. Sleep quality is excellent, mattress, sheets, pillows are all comfortable and smell very clean. Take note that the bathroom is two separate areas. To the left is the toilet and to the right is the bath area. Amenities are extremely limited. Free standard soap while shampoo, conditioner and body wash is inside the dispenser in the bath area. Also, there is no refrigerator in the rooms. We had to bring our own cooler and buy ice quite a long drive away. Take note of this if you are travelling with babies. The pool area is very nice, and the restaurant is 4 out of 5. Not bad quality food. We had breakfast there each day and spaghetti and fries on another night. Just take note that the restaurant does not open til about 7 or 730 as the cook arrives late. It is also a short walk to the beach, and on the way there you will see another wading pool fronting the beach. ** Note of caution. Please do not let your kids run along the wet tile in front of your rooms. One of our friends' kids was walking and slipped and hit his head really hard on the tile. Thank God nothing serious. ** This is also about 15 mins drive from Costa Pacifica area. And to get into the L'Sirene property you must drive for about eight minutes along rough road. …
It is a private beach resort with two simming pools. The rooms are big and the bed is memory foam. It is not in sabang area so you have to travel 6-7km to go to the city. They have their own restaurant and the price is competitive to those in sabang. The quality of food is ok, quite better also. During our stay, we were only allowed to swim 1 hour because of the rip tides so the two swimming pools are a great plus. You won't regret staying here if you want to relax
This hotel is located at the quieter side of Baler, away from the action. It is approximately five kilometers to the town center. From the main highway, you have to enter an undeveloped private road around 300 meters long to reach the resort. The wading pool is under construction when we stayed and they failed to notify us beforehand. Hence, I was not able to appreciate the view. The rooms are good in size. The room price include four guests. I just hope they include free breakfast in the price. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable but there is no free wifi connection. There is a pool near the beach but a few minutes walk from the rooms. The beach is better than Sabang beach, it is cleaner. But aside from surfing, they offer no other activity. The sunbed is away from the beach and if you go swimming in the ocean, there is no shade you can use. I have little kids with me and there is no amenities for kids.…
It is our 2nd time in Baler but this time we want to try Sam Pinto’s resort. The place is clean and the staff are all helping out. The walk going to the beach is just short so you wont get tired walking to the beach. I love the room because it is spacious and the A/C is cold. They welcomed our pets and they enjoyed roaming around the property. It is quiet and there are still no neighbours so we had the beach all to ourselves. The food in the resto is quite good and tasty. Price is reasonable too. They provide surfing lessons and massage. I highly recommend this resort if you are the type who do not like crowded places. I like the exclusivity of this place and if ever i go back to Baler, this is going to be my GO TO place. Anyway Sabang is just a 15 minutes drive. The waves are bigger on this side than the one in Sabang. …
We were a bit worried because the resort is not part of Sabang beach. To our surprise, they have a better beach! Its much more peaceful and cleaner in this resort. The staff was amazing and helpful. The food that they offer is very reasonable and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. If you want to enjoy nightlife, Sabang beach is just a 5 minute ride away. One of the best beach resorts I have been to and will definitely come back given the chance.
Over all i did love the place except for one thing, we’re not able to swim in the beach due to high & strong waves. I suggest that if you’re not really into surfing and just want to enjoy the beach come during summer time, that’s what I’ve gathered from the locals because the beach is much calmer.
The Family Decided to try this resort in baler and booked 2 rooms for a weekend getaway. The resort is far from everything, you need to ride your car if you want to eat and try the other restaurants in baler. On the other hand, you would appreciate the privacy that the resort away from all the crowded areas of baler. The rooms were clean enough but lacks cabinets or any place that you can store your things. For the price of the room, you'd expect to have at least , a small fridge, but there was none. The bathroom has a bidet, so its a plus for me, but i don't like the setup of having the bathing area and the toilet on 2 separate rooms. For some people that, might work though. The soap dispenser in our room is broken, but the staff immediately fixed it. The toilet area needs to have an exhaust fan , its a small room with a small window and the smell don't go out so easily and i don't really know where that poop smell is coming from. They only have one restaurant and food is delicious most especially the kare-kare. The pool is nice, perfect for small children and for those who just want to relax in shallow water. The beds were ok and you'll get to use a blanket that makes you look like a mermaid and take photos. The staff were excellent. They were very attentive to all our needs. We opted to have a bonfire experience on the beach. They set the bonfire for you and provide you with long sticks to cook your smores, hotdogs or whatever you like. great bonding time for families and friends The Family had a great time all in all…
