Don't expect too much... its cheap for a reason.. BUT, my son, who is 4 years of age, is very hapot with their pool which is just beside the cooking, dining area.. so you can drink, cook and do whatever you want because you can see your kids while they are in the pool...

They have a kitchen you can use.. bring whatever you want...

The rooms have 3 double deck bunks, ac and fan, not too shabby even if you sleep sober..

Arrived at Baler by 6am and nowhere to go. Most of the hotels were fully booked. I got their number in their facebook page and thankfully they reply fast and still have available room for 4.

Check in time is 11am and check out by 12noon. But they allowed us to check in by 6am with no additional charge :)

They are, technically, a beach front hotel. Just a road was separating them to the beach. You may check out my pictures.

We got a family room. 1 bedroom with kitchen and dining area with television. It looks old but the room was clean. Water supply is enough and they provide a gallon of free drinking water.

They also have cooking area with and they provide cooking utensils.

Bathroom has hot and cold shower, bidet (yay!) and enough supply of fresh water (because I know some beach front hotels use salt water for their water supply).

A family room for 3k was affordable to us. Plus an accomodating staff (Mang Godo) and the one replies to my inquiries (sorry I forgot to ask your name).

(The Charlie's Point with 15 reviews here in TA is tagged as an attraction. It is not an attraction, it is a resort or lodging.)

PROs:
From the gate of Charlie's Point, just cross the street, and you're at the beach already. Rooms are clean, and the air-con unit was strong, room was cold all throughout our stay. One double deck bed in the Family Room can accommodate one adult and two kids (lower bed) and one more adult (upper bed). I shared this room with my friend who, like me, have two kids. I thought it would be cramped with space, but that's not the case. It is perfect for two families with two kids in tow. There's a small pool where the kids swam when they got tired from playing at the beach. There's also free water in the Family room (there's a water dispenser, they gave us a water gallon container to put into the dispenser). The comfort room is big and clean. We bought ice cream but there's no ref, so we asked the staff if they can put them in their ref, they obliged.

CONs:
Check-in was informal. The guy who took us in did not know what rooms I booked, and how many rooms ( I booked two, 1 Family Room and 1 Executive Double Room). He didn't recognize when I told him I rented a Double Room (he said, all they have is the 'kubo' and the family room). Big mosquitoes appeared during nighttime. It would be great if there's a refrigerator in the Family room, since you can cook in the kitchen.

Small parking area. No linens and toiletries provided for guests. Bedrooms are too small and cramped with double deck beds. Noisy Generator. No room service. TV has only one local channel with a very poor reception. Bathroom has mildew all over. Pool is small and not properly maintained and cleaned.
Only good thing I can say about the place is that it has a good location at the beach front. Away from the crowded shores of other hotels and resorts.
