If you are not too keen to stay in the busy city of Split or Trogir but seek a home away from home, tranquility, spectacular views, a private beach and a superb restaurant then look no further, Vila Tina has it all. The hotel is in an excellent condition, technically and visually, and which is not the norm in Croatia. Plenty parking in front of the hotel. The rooms are very clean, spacious, comfortable, and come with all the amenities one needs for a week-long vacation visit. There’s air condition, a satellite TV (who cares if there are ‘only’ five German channels available, it’s vacation time), cosmetic amenities, a refrigerator, safe, and any extra wish one may have will be taken care of right away by the super friendly staff. If you had a nice day at the somewhat private beach across the hotel try out the spa. Order refreshments and then chill out in the whirlpool (accommodates 4 persons). Later on have dinner in the Vila Tina restaurant (see separate superior ratings for that). After a good night’s sleep in the very comfortable beds (firm mattresses, not too soft) indulge in a very generous breakfast. Due to COVID there is currently no buffet but the hotel will serve individualized platters with cold cuts, cheeses, breads and sweets, eggs, salads etc. Just perfect to start the day off. We compared several accommodations in that particular area but luckily picked Vila Tina and they are very rightfully ranked number as all accommodation listed or rated here. Thank you very much for a very nice week, we look forward to meet again in the near future.…
We spent 6 nights in Vila Tina. Everything was just excellent : location, room, restaurant,... Fish and seafood are amazing Amazing people working there ! Unforgettable !!!! Trogir is just at 4 km and Split Airport at 10km.
Our stay at Vila Tina was lovely. I wish we could have enjoyed Split more, but it was our last night before flying back to the US, and they could not have been more accommodating with a late check-in (10:30pm) and early check-out (6:00am) . They even provided breakfast boxes because we had to leave for the airport well before breakfast even began. The rooms weren't fancy in any way, but comfortable and clean. The hotel is adorable — it has a very old authentic Croatian vibe with a lovely view of the water. If you are looking for a beach resort, this is not the place for you. But being in the middle of the city and a 10 minute drive from the airport in a hotel that felt like a bed and breakfast was really lovely.
Myself and my partner stayed here for 5 days- the hotel was clean and good value for money and the staff are fantastic. Only downside to our stay was that there was a lot of noise from guests on the stairs/corridors- especially Betty looking for room 14! Also tea/coffee making facilities would be good in the rooms. Location is good right on the beach and there is a bus into nearby Trogir regularly. Overall a very good value for money hotel which I would recommend and would definitely stay here again.
Short ride from Trojir by cab, across from the water and 200 metres to a nice swimming beach. Nice little hotel, rooms are spacious, bathrooms perfect, beds comfy. Terrace restaurant overlooking the water serves really great food, we had three meals here. Breakfast had hot and cold choices. Family run and friendly.
