We stayed here for a week with half board which was anything you wanted practically. Dinner was 7 courses. The manager is miserable but the rest of the staff are great. He only walks up and down anyway. There is a local bus just up the road. Not much in the village just a couple of bars. The promenade is just infront but very dark at night. You can walk along during the day. Rooms were lovely with balconys overlooking either sea or mountains. Very clean. Food very well presented.
The place is very plain and quite dated. It is located at intersection with roads all around and noise from traffic in all rooms. Non air-con rooms made it difficult to sleep on a hot night. No fans in rooms contrary to what is advertised. No bath tubs either. Early check out time at 10am. We paid for room with breakfast but were not told it was only till 9am so turning up at 9.15 am we were told that we missed out and offered a coffee. Elderly gentleman running the place does not speak English and is very unfriendly and unhelpful. It appears that they don't need customers any more so it is better to avoid this place.
Central location in the town and close to the cable car to monte di mezzocorona for some nice walks. Rooms are noisy from adjoining rooms and service was very average. Ok for the price and free wifi with sad breakfast arrangement where food was not always replaced when it ran out in a 'first come first served' type of system.
Stayed 1 night on a cycling trip, we were expecting a sullen reception (based off some feedback here) but this was not the case at all. Rooms were fine, breakfast was a bit average but pass-able. Good budget hotel
Just back from this hotel. Can't believe this is a 3* hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. We were half-board. We decided to have our meals at the hotel instead of trying to find somewhere else for the occasional night out. The food was certainly good enough for our needs. I travelled with 4 other people and we all agree this hotel is ideal for our needs. Our waiter was Anthonello, he was great. Balconies on the front give an amazing view of the mountain areas. Other rooms in hotel had a balcony too. Rooms clean and good enough for any traveller. This is not a super luxury hotel but in my opinion it has everything you need for a few weeks holiday. Nearby are all kinds of water sport, cycling, kite boarding, and in the winter some skiing. Bus route good from Riva to Verona; bus stop nearby. Ideal quiet location but with benefits. Can't wait for next years visit.…
