We arrived at Consuelo Port after 10 PM after passing through San Francisco earlier with intentions to take a pump boat to Kawit. Do to wave action, we opted to catch the early ferry and stay near the port. If this is the same as the RN Pension House then this Pension house has a gated drive leading up to what must have once been a beautiful place to stay with an awesome view. We divided up into two rooms with AirCon. 1. The Air Cons were cold (only plus). The beds were not clean with dark hair on the mattresses and no clean covers. Absolutely no sheets on the bed, just a day cover that was questionable. We slept with clothes on and were so tired from all day travel from Negros Occidental that we endured the night. We had to wait outside in the dark for someone to come and clean and they did not come. Because of our exhausting day, we went inside and wanted to wash off, however the bathroom floor was wet from a leaky toilet and appeared dirty. There was no toilet paper available, but we had brought our own as I realize that many Filipino hotels/pension houses do not have. The pool, we saw in the morning was almost empty and had green water in the bottom. Obviously not useable. The view (the only other plus) was absolutely stunning. In their defense, they are currently desiring to upgrade the place; but after staying, I can say that unless they have a lot of money to invest, it is currently not a place I would ever want to visit again. Very, very sad and run down. Such a shame, because of its location near the sea.
