We had a great moments in the resort. The sand was very fine and my children really enjoyed playing. We also liked their tree houses.

Our room was quite far from the beach front since, the only available room was their garden view which was on the other side of the road.

We will surely be back and will make sure to get a room near the beach.

We only spent one night here but our stay was peaceful. The garden was relaxing and everyone enjoyed the pool. Food was freshly cooked and inexpensive. Don't expect luxury at this resort but enjoy the simplicity. The rooms are basically furnished, clean and comfortable. Extra sleeping matresses were provided for the two extra adults.
We were able to enjoy the facilities of the adjacent Mangodlong Beach resort. A very enjoyable experience

Stay here if everywhere else is full. Or stay here if you must have internet. Coco Resort had wifi, although it was sporadic. Ownership seemed to be the american+filippina setup, with a manager around who appeared but couldn't really do anything: when the hot water heater didn't work, she changed us to another room. Overall the place is (let's say) rustic, bordering between deferred maintenance and outright neglect, with their transport van broken down and debris piling up. Pool was functioning though. Restaurant food and breakfast was pretty minimal. With hotel options limited in this Camote for foreigners, there's a need for good hostelry but this isn't it. Note: no clue why its called 'Nature Resort' other than the insects.

We spent our first two nights at Mangodlong Paradise Beach resort during the holy week but we have to transfer to a different resort because they were fully booked. We manage to get a fan room 2 weeks ago at Coco Grove which is just behind Mangodlong Paradise.

On our third day, we were hoping to upgrade our room to an airconditioned room and we got lucky to get one. However, we checked in at the resort around 6pm after our tour. The resort is quite dark. The room was okay. Just basic. The water pressure was such a pain and mosquitos are everywhere. Airconditioning was not cold we still used the fan to make the room cooler.

I can also say that we had the worst breakfast ever in Coco Grove! Breakfast starts at 7:30am so we went to the restaurant around 7:25am. We were monitoring the time so that we could still enjoy the beach at Mangodlong Rock before coming back to Manila. Wanna know what time they served the food? Exactly 8:53am! We were so upset with the way they treated us and other guests and surprisingly, the food they serve was not even warm. It was cold! The utensils they gave us still have little pieces of rice sticking on it so we ate using our hands.

One funny thing about the resort is that they have billiards but you have to pay 100/hour if im not mistaken even if you are one of their guests. Plus, the pool was disgusting, so cloudy like someone did the laundry at the pool.

If you wish to have a great time on your vacation might as well just book at Mangodlong Paradise Beach Resort, they have great amenities and great food. Just pay more than suffer at Coco Grove. But we wanna give a commendation to Ate Manish for being so helpful, she was great eventhough she was so busy. She managed to help us out in cheking the oceanjet schedule. She even called her friend to ask help for our needs. Kudos to Ate Manish.

Overall, I wont recommend this resort to anyone. I hope the management takes care of the resort and improve everything. Will come back to camotes island definitely but not at CocoGrove. Ever.

Camotes island is about two hour by ferry from Danao Cebu. This island is became popular by locals in recent years.

More resorts built lately but not really cheaper to overnight especially if you want to be near the beach. I booked this resort far in advance to have a good rate through Agoda.

We have rented a car in Cebu Airport and taken to the island. Having your own transport to get around you can explored the whole island of Camotes at your own peace of mind

This resort has free parking right in front of our room. The location is about 8 min drive from ferry terminal and also this is off from the main road. To get here you can either request their free pick-up service to and from the pier

Because we took the first ferry trip from Cebu we arrived at the resort around 9 o'clock in the morning, was very early. We didn't expect that our room is ready on that hour, we just tried otherwise we can drive around

But when we checked, seems like we can go into our room without any extra charged for early checked-in

The resort has a gate where you have to drive through their garden into the bungalow rooms. Each room has two bamboo chairs outside facing to the pool, the whole areas are surrounded by green environment very relaxing

I book a room for three person which consist a double and single beds. Is a standard room with a television, air conditioner and fan. Net and clean with nice spacious room

The bathroom is okay with shower and hot water, typically bathroom in most hotels in Southeast asia.

The hotel swimming pool is out of order. Hotel guests can swim to the beach next door, this two resorts has made an agreement to each other, if you staying at Coco Groove Beach Resort you are allowed to use the beach in Mangodlong Beach Rock Resort

In this area "Mangodlong" there are three nice resorts, they are just right next to each other. Visiting in peak season reservation in advance well recommended

Breakfast included in room rate, you have choices of Filipino, continental and English breakfast. Breakfast served in the restaurant. They have restaurant as well with choices from the menu card.

Free Wifi is only available in the restaurant but sometimes the reception is very slow. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. They also offer a tours in the island but this cost 500 peso.

For the price of €41 for a triple room I find this resort over rated, but surely if you are looking a place to relax and just to get away for a weekend, the place is good for it.

For the price in Mangodlong this is the cheaper one I've found, as I mentioned above already, Camotes island is not really for budget traveler if you want to stay on the beach. Somewhere you can find some a cheaper place to stay, but you need a vehicle if you want to visit the beach

Surely is a nice place to stay in Mangodlong an oasis, very quite and relaxing resort

Outside if you walked out from the gate you'll directly into Mangodlong beach. Going to the beach next door there'll be a security guard, outsiders are allowed by paying a 100 peso entrance. If you showed your room key the guard will let you in

You get a cheaper accommodation with almost similar amenities of the pricier nearby resorts. We got this hotel instead of the others since all share the same beach shoreline. Literally you have to go to the other resort beachfront to go the the shoreline. No worries they are sister companies.

Secure place to stay and staff are so friendly. The room is spacious, we even got two big sizes of bed for a cheap prize. The pool was also just outside our room that you can use to relax and of course for our kids to enjoy.

It is near to some of the attractions of the island, but it is best if you have your our transportation to take you to all the places that you need to go. You can also rent one, which is available and can be arranged by the hotel itself.

It was a great stay here!

We have spend two nights in this resort, which is a garden resort with a nice swimming pool. As a guest of this resort you are allowed to use the beach and restaurant Mangodlong Beach Resort, which is only few meters away and has a beautiful white sand beach. The restaurant offers very good local and inexpensive food.

We stayed at the resort only one night but I'd return there again. As long as you go knowing that it doesn't claim to be a five star resort then you'll be fine. The rooms are basic but clean and the resort itself, although small, is well laid out with two pools and a restaurant, plus during daylight hours you have access to the beach for free.

Me and my friends stayed there for like 2 days and 1 night. The rooms were neat but some of the appliances doesn't work. The place was kinda nice. There's a pool. The service crew are nice too. What I am not so satisfied about is their food. It's just so so-so. That's all.

The room was ok. Needs updating especially the shower /toilet, but aircon, electric fan & TV all good. Restaurant food was good. The 2 swimming pools are definitely a feature of the resort & it's close to the beach which is accessed through the adjacent resort.
Special praise to the Staff and Manager who were always there to help and attend your needs.
