I was planning a graduation getaway with my girlfriend, so being unemployed at that time, we looked at the more 'affordable' places without sacrificing too much. The location is secluded, which is perfect for a romantic getaway or to spend with a small group of friends. The people were very hospitable and helpful, considering it was our first time on camotes. The other person who wrote the review is probably just bitter because they didn't prepare well for an island trip. While this is place is no ShangriLa, it's great value for your buck, and made our first experience in camotes a truly unforgettable one. Will definitely plan on staying there again if and when we go back.

We just arrive from our Camotes Trip with my friends and I was really not expecting what came to us in Keshe Beach Resort.

I read a lot of negative reviews from this resort saying they have poor service or they charge they're guests with everything you wanted to borrow from them but everything was wrong.

Ate Marisa, the caretaker of the resort was very hospitable and kind. We asked her if we could camp by the beach last April 28 and of course, I told here we would pay the ground rental which is 150 per head with your own tent and asked her if we could rent a room for the next day. She hesitated at first because she told us there was no public CR in the resort but we still insisted because we already knew it from the start. She agreed and we paid the reservation payment to secure our stay for tomorrow but to our surprise, she then told us that we could use the room that day in case we need to use the CR. We were so lucky to get a free night at the resort and how generous right?

Yes, the resort is not the luxury place to stay. There are also downside in our stay like rotational brownouts and water shortage but I guess it is not the resorts fault at all.

Given to that, the gratitude we owe her did not stop there because despite the water shortage she and her husband never failed to help us with the water problems we experienced. They did not even charge us with anything we borrowed and even gave us a free gallon of mineral water.

A big Thumbs up for Keshe Beach Resort. If you are looking for a place to think, relax, on a budget and not a fan of the busy and crowded beaches, then Keshe is the right place for you.

My friends and I went to Camotes in the summer time, so wasn't expecting to find a cheap way to stay in the island. Yet I found this resort in the internet and I gather more information about the resort. Gladly, I was able to book in the resort at a cheaper price compared with the other resorts. This resort can only provide you with basic amenities nothing fancy. Also, this place is a little remote but accessible by local transport. If you are planning to stay here bring your own food and some repellant as mosquitoes can be annoying. To add, if you any plan in mind, please inform the stay or caretaker beforehand.

1200 pesos per night for a dreadful room full of mosquitoes, concrete floor, awful bed, dogs barking all night , 65 pesos for a San Mig Pilsen, very expensive food, and you must order 4 hours before so they can go into town to buy it, no transport, you are virtually trapped there, we only got there because a motor cycle rider recommended it, no doubt getting a payola.

When I went to Camotes together with my travel buddies, Camotes was on its peak and reservation comes hard and elusive. Luckily , we found one for ourselves remotely located in Esperanza , San Francisco. Away from the crowd, i find serenity and exclusivity of the whole white sand beach. I enjoyed our stay there!
