Paradise Indeed We visited this resort from June 30 checking out tomorrow. The grounds were very well kept and the rooms were very spacious with high ceilings. The little beach front with white sand was just enough to enjoy the beach. The jewel of the place was their gorgeous infinity pool. Their Bamboo Restaurant served a good variety of delicious food and the service was good. All the workers were very nice and friendly and the manager of the place Mr. Rommel Gonzales was the best! Very hands on , he made sure everything was in order. Thank you to the wonderful staff for a great stay!
Departed on the 8:30 ferry from Danao City. Vessel was very old and poorly maintained. Bathroom had such bad odor and poor sanitation the we did not use. This ferry is also owned by the owner of our resort stay. Transportation was provided to resort. Our group of 11 was checked in while we lunched at the restaurant. Menu was a mix of Filipino and Continental selections. Native Chicken was so small some in our party thought they were Cornish hens. Pizza was very good as was pasta, although some thought it was a little dry. On proceeding to our room we found no hangers and no coffee. We requested several times with no success. The AC was on frigid and was very noisy. Remote did not work and replacement only partly worked. All our guests had the same complaints. Next day we discovered the coffee pot required a special adaptor plug and therefore could not be used. Again requests for adaptor went unheeded. The free breakfast was very good. The pool and beach were both well maintained and provided welcome relief from the room dilemma. Overall our guests said they would not return to this resort.…
The resort is clean well maintained. It's not too big. It's a great value for the price. They have a giant pool and a private beach. The ocean water is clear. The food at the restaurant is pretty good. Would be nice if they replaced some of the billiards sticks. Also, the entire staff is professional and friendly, but some are pretty low energy - like they don't really want to be there. But all in all, I love the place. I've been there at least 5 times that I can remember and I'll go back again next time I go to the Philippines. I'd encourage anyone to go there and I've recommended it to several people. Also, there are a few great places that you can go: waterfalls, cliff diving, swimming in caves. You can hire someone right outside the resort who will take you. Great place.…
Stayed with family/group of 8. I can say one of the best resort Camotes can offer but not really perfect: Pros: - beach front - large room (2 bedroom cabana rooms) - huge infinity pool - free transfers (if coming from Consuelo port) - very helpful staff - buffet breakfast - nice ambiance Cons: - shower/tub is dated. - sea food platter is disappointing considering the price (not fresh at all! When you are in an island resort, it should be bare minimum that seafood menu is always fresh!) - very few restaurant choices around the vicinity. - sliding door lock in our room was. Not working. Overall was still a great experience and the island tour is a must! However, this did not provide me with enough reason to want to go back anytime soon.
A nice quick getaway from mactan island. Nice accommodations and facilities. When ordering food just be patient cause it might take awhile...specially if there are lots of guests (a long while). Beach is ok but the pool seems better.
Stayed 2 nights, Nice rooms and pool area but no hot water in shower, the AC keept turning itself off and the Wifi connection in the restaurant was so slow it was of no use, I had higher expectations considering this is one of the most expensive hotels on the island. The mobile internet connection is also geneally poor in Mangoldlong area. The Santiago bay area is a better pick if you rely on a stable internet connection for work etc.
Rooms are good. Staff have good personality. Don't expect good wi fi connection, it only have at the restaurant area. Overall, it's a good place for relaxation. Enjoyed walking at the beach while the tide is low.
It's truly recommendable the place of Mangodlong Paradise Beach Resort. It's peaceful to stay, relaxing, spacious, clean and very approachable staff. The food (especially breakfast) is exciting, there are more options and delicious. The pool is awesome and very green surroundings, I LOVE IT. Fresh air is love. I had a great experience even in a short period but I probably to come back. Awesomeness Camotes Island!!! :)
If you stay in Mangodlong paradise, the transporation going home will be taken care of. Since the resort and the shipping lines are the same owner. Their pool and rooms are always kept clean. You can even swim until 10pm. The only annoyance was that sometimes you see cats around their restaurant. They don't bother you. But sometimes you hear their cat fight screams. The breakfast buffet is excellent. There have salad, and egg station. The traditional Filipino breakfast is served.
Mangodlong Paradise Beach Resort is the best choice for a comfortable stay whether for business or leisure in San Francisco, Camotes Group of Island. Love the tranquil ambiance, the "upscale resort feel" with the modern Filipino design of the villas, family rooms and the restaurant facing a lush green area, the buffet breakfast, and the assistance they provide for the fast craft ride to Cebu in the nearby port. The arrival experience, to wit the design of the reception area, can though be improved to match with the architectural theme of most part of the resort.
