Camao Resort is a newly open resort located in Sitio Camao, Brgy. Poro, San Francisco, Camotes Island in the province of Cebu. Camao Resort have three types of room namely Payag, Standard and Deluxe with a total of 17 rooms. Room rates include breakfast and free pick-up. Camao Resort have their own local chef from Camotes which gives a delicious but affordable food menu.

We came to this resort in Camotes Island,Cebu for an weekend vacation. The price is reasonable and the rooms were clean. There were toiletries ,slippers, towels. One drawback is the cottage where i and my husband stayed .The bed is too small for two people.It was only a single bed.

So we book a room here at least every couple of months for work and we haven’t had much issue except for the recent visit. The place was packed over the holy week but it wasn’t an issue at first because we booked and they assured there weren’t issues with the generator and the water supply. Camotes is known to have frequent power outages so this was a key point they assured was not going to be an issue.
Much to our dismay starting 5pm of the same day we checked in, NO MORE WATER and we couldn’t shower or do anything anymore since there was not a single drop coming. We ask for help they give you the runaround and say it will be fixed in 10mins, 10mins passed, they say it will be fixed in 20 mins.. 20 mins passed, nothing still! Why? They were busy accepting more and more clueless guests that they had no more water supply.
After 30 mins, nothing... what happens next? Power goes out! And you guessed it, no generator as promised.
Never again.

Excellent experience! The place is very cozy, relaxing and the owner and staff are very accommodating. Everything is awesome.

From the place to staff is great. A friendly staff wherein you can ask and happy to accommodate. The resort is peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The resort has free pickup and dropoff to port. The price is reasonable each room. The food is also great.
Overall, our team did enjoy our stay at Camao Resort. I recommended this resort to my friends already and did have the same impression.
