Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We booked a 7 night stay and no regrets. Haad rin is a good base as there are numerous restaurants and bars. Relatively quiet out of full moon times. The view from our balcony was lovely, we just had a standard room but even so, we enjoyed our balcony time looking out to sea. Rooms are not the big size that is quoted on Agoda but they are big enough. A few English speaking movie channels, clean fridge and kettle. Everything worked fine. Hotel is a bit dated but for what we paid we were happy. Pool area is clean and in good condition and very good sunbeds with comfy cushions. Again, the view from this area is amazing. The Staff make this place extra special. Very friendly and helpful. The owner of the motorbike rental shop at the bottom of the hill is also fab and reception call her if you need to rent and she brings it up for you. She gives good advice and actually discourages novice riders against driving here as the roads to Haad rin can be very steep and dangerous.Very reasonable rates . Breakfast options are quite good, cereal, toast, egg/ pancake station, fruit and Asian style buffet. The coffee is good. Only slight areas to improve on is cushions for balcony chairs, they are quite hard and a clothes rail for wet clothes to put on balcony. If I came back here again, I would stay here.

The sea breeze resort Haad Rin in koh phagan is wonderful and staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. We were recommended a local cooking course which was brilliant, and all reception staff were super helpful, great at answering any questions. A big thank you for a lovely stay, would recommend 10/10!

I came to the Sea Breeze Resort with my daughter before she left for a yoga certification. Out of the 10 places I've stayed in Thailand I can honestly say that this is a true gem and my overall favorite. The staff, hotel dog and talking bird were all very welcoming! The rooms were spacious, clean and well decorated. They also had stunning views. The hotel grounds we're beautiful with several special added touches. The food was delicious and the complementary buffet breakfast had the best banana pancakes I have ever tasted. You are just a short five minute walk to town or the beach where they have the half moon and full moon parties. If you are staying on this island I would highly suggest staying here!

I stayed in this hotel for three nights. I had very bad experience but will start from little things I hope they will improve soon. 1) very low quality of breakfast and every day same things. Poor of fruits. No fresh juices. The food was really bad. 2) the turn down of my room wasn’t done till the evening when I went back I had to ask them to do it. 3) I request my laundry back twice and when I was back on my room at midnight was still not there. 4) the check out was very difficult because the person in charge didn’t speak any English and was totally sleeping. 5) they sold me a ticket from Koh Phanigan to Koh lanta convincing me to book with them and not on the website. I trust them I suppose to arrive at 15,30 but I am still on the minibus around krabi and maybe I will arrive at 19.00- Of course is a problem for a person who have few days to travel. 6) Very dark room, the flush of the toilet didn’t work I request twice to adjust or move me to another room but nothing. There was a bad smell of course. 7) breakfast box with one small sandwich with only mayo and one boiled egg. No water no fruits no yogurts no nothing, I mean to serve fruits or yogurt or water you don’t need to open the kitchen early . Never again of course their service is not at the same level of the architecture and the position of the hotel.

We stayed for 7 nights and our room was on the sunrise side, overlooking the bay and ocean. A beautiful little beach is a short 15min walk away. Hotel provides towels. It was an isolated little house, so it felt like we had our own little “villa”. You can rent a scooter right at the hotel from a very friendly lady. The stuff was very very friendly and caring with whatever we needed.

I had a standard room. But there were no standard things in the standard room. For example, there were no sockets in the bathroom. The room was too small that you can neither sit nor work with a computer. There was no chair or small table in the room. The sockets were broken. So you had to have an adapter. The color of the sheets and towels was dark brown. You had no chance to see if the sheets were dirty or clean. From 8:00 p.m. you had no chance to eat anything. The balcony, Surroundings and view was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

After a long days/travel I arrived at the hotel in the back of a tuck tuck. On arrival staff jumped in to action, taking our over packed rucksacks and giving us complimentary drinks which were much needed!!
We were taken to our rooms, bags carried again, and were delighted with a tree house style hut, fully air conditioned with a balcony looking out across the sea.
The pool and food terrace also look across the beautiful beach.
Staff continued to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the breakfast were simple but really tasty!

Nice hotel, rooms super clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast buffet with fruit, and Thailand cuisine. The pool is really nice, with a nice view to the sea. The hotel is 10 minutes or less by walk to the full Moon party

We have just had 3 night stay at this accommodation and all I can say is WOW!!! We was both blown away with the stunning views from the moment we arrived. The hotel was booked for the full moon party and literally it's a 5 minute walk to the entrance if that. It would not suit someone with walking difficulties though as it is rather a steep hill to from the road up to it. But my gosh the views are worth it. Food is good also, the viewpoint restaurant only serves pizza and is a little bit more on the more pricey side but it's what you pay for convenience. Hotel staff are all amazingly friendly and willing to help you with anything including sorting some laundry to planing your onward journey. My partner has enjoyed it that much he is already wanting to return and I think we might just have to also. Due to location do beware of mosquitoes and come prepared. Overall probably the most relaxing and enjoyable part of out trip so far. Well done team Sea Breeze, cheers!

The hotel is central to everything Haad Rin has to offer. Great restaurants, night life and the best beach on Koh Phagan. Hostess Will was extremely helpful and always friendly. Highly recommend this place with its sensational views and beautiful pool. While the particular room I stayed in was somewhat dated everything else made up for it.

We have a-la-carte menu for breakfast, also breakfast set menu is available at our restaurant :)
There is no minimum stay on 2021 and we not sure if full moon party is allowed on this year :'(

There is a website with full moon details. Also beware of half moon parties although we stayed during half moon and it was pretty quiet. I expected it to be manic but it wasn’t.
There are more places to choose from in the Ban Tai area.
