Nice lobby and restaurant but the rooms aren’t great and the wifi is terrible. The toilet constantly had a bad smell. Trying to get any work done was near impossible due to the horrendous wifi. I even tried to work in the lobby but that didn’t work either.
I stayed two nights in the hotel Saint Hubert, which lays outside Hambach village on a calm lake. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed comfy. On top, the restaurant serves delicious food too. However, from the breakfast I expected more. The buffet was uninspired and not good tasting.
They got me a refurbished room this time, and it was better. Bed comfort was nice Room big and spacious, On entering the room was very cold, and the small heating needed some time to get the room warm Shower/ bath was ok. Wife extremely slow, i was not able to stream anything, bit disappointing in these times. Breakfast, only cold, not much choices. Not really corona proof. Big parking lot outside. For the prices asks this hotel offers a good choice, but ensure yourself that you get a refurbished room
The hotel constitues a good stopover between Metz Strasbourg. It has confortable rooms, a private parking, a nice terrasse and also a room for business meetings. The location is quiet, next to a large pond. You can also eat typical French cuisine there.
This was booked for me, since they were refurbishing 2 years ago, i thought to find some changes since then... But no... i got a completely outdated old fashioned room. Only the doors and hallway were refurbished. I asked for another room, they claimed it was not possible... strange as there were only like 6 people in the hotel that night... Bed comfort was bad, lumpy matrass, too soft pillow No real workdesk in the room just small wooden table and a hard wooden chair Room gave a depressing feeling Standard bath with showerhead.’’plumbing very noisy Sounds from room next door Surrounding green and a lake : quiet, but nothing really to do Breakfast very standard some bread, basic meats and cheese and jam. Nothing warm. Some cheap supermarket warmed up croissants... not really tasty Wifi extremely slow... even pictures on fb didn t get through Much better b&b s nearby Good for one night going through when the weather is nice as you don t want to be stuck inside here...…
