Set in the 210 km² private Mara Naboisho Conservancy, Naboisho Camp offers spectacular game viewing, from the herds of antelope that dot the plains of this wilderness corridor throughout the year to the high concentrations of predators, including lion and cheetah. But the real magic of Naboisho is its sheer exclusivity - you'll experience a level of safari solitude and serenity simply unheard of in the busy Serengeti and Maasai Mara reserves. With just nine spacious tented suites, Naboisho is an intimate and elegant safari camp that balances your wilderness experience with discreet creature comforts. Even better, it is one of just two Asilia camps where you have the option of fly camping. If you have a truly adventurous spirit, don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself in the magic of the African bush.

Out of the 3 camps we visited in Africa this was by far the best. Genuinely nice people who care about guests and love their jobs providing the best experience possible. The physical location is amazing, the safaris are wonderful in comfortable vehicles with every amenity. The animal siting were never ending. We were joking that it was orchestrated by the staff; when I said I want an elephant, one would appear! Food is amazing, camp was beautiful. Tent was luxurious, views were fantastic. The hosts Louis and Becca were so wonderful, I felt like I was a guest in their home. Our guide Lucas went out of his was to be sure we were happy with all our viewing experiences, morning, evening, and night drives. I would love to come back again!!n This camp is so well managed, MBA students should study it as an example on how to do customer service: be humble, under promise, and over deliver.

Naboisho was a fantasy experience and allowed us to see all of the Big 5. We also saw multiple Lion prides and 9 cubs, a Cheetah with three young adults hunting, and of course the elusive Leopard. We also did a walking Safari which provided the chance to see more birds and butterflies along with lots of time to learn about different plants. The walk was not without wildlife either, and we enjoyed a large group of Giraffe finished by a relaxing creek side breakfast.
The tents and food were fantastic and 20 elephants moved through the camp almost every day and night of our stay. The pool has fantastic views which almost always include wildlife from Lions, Zebras, Elephants, and Giraffe. Staff Quarantine and are confined to camp along with frequent hand sanitizer and temperature checks. The COVID protocols are excellent and I felt safer on my trip then at home.
I can’t encourage you enough...the experience was fantastic, excellent food, extremely attentive service, overall visitors count is the lowest it has ever been and it makes for a very private and exclusive luxurious feel. Go have the trip of a lifetime and support the people and the animals of Kenya.

Hello, Thank you so much for taking the time to write us such a wonderful review. It was really fun hosting you, we were delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much and had such amazing game viewing – Naboisho never disappoints! It sounds as though you got to enjoy the best of the conservancy by getting out on foot and being able to see so much wildlife, all with hardly any other people around. We are particularly happy to read that you felt so safe with us. We have worked incredibly hard on our safety protocols and ensuring that all our guests and staff are kept safe through this challenging time is our top priority. I hope that you will come and stay at one of our camps again soon – we’d love to have you. Warmest regards from Africa, The Naboisho Camp Team

We went back to Naboisho Camp after visiting it in 2016. We loved it then and we loved it even more this trip.
The new Managers, Eric and Caroline, set a tone that made us feel spoiled. They were engaging, pleasant and professional. Their staff followed their lead and were available at every turn to meet any need. Exceptional!
Our guide, Daniel, was first class, not only getting us to see lots and lots of game, but also able to answer any questions we had from his wide base of knowledge, and clearly reflecting Asilia’s approach to stewardship of the environment and wildlife. He is a valuable asset to the camp.
Hard to imagine it improving from our last visit, but the combination of management, comfortable tents and common areas, the new pool area (just far enough away from the main area to be perfect) the food and wine all made it feel even better.
We would happily return to Naboisho Camp and recommend it to anyone wanting a top-notch safari camp.

The accomadations and staff at Naboisho Camp were outstanding. Our guide, Benjamin was superb and the entire staff exhibited a warm an welcoming hospitality second to none. The accomdates were 1st rate safari "Glamping" tents - spotless and clean with all amentities including 2 showers - in inside and one under the sky. The meal selections were great, with something for everyone. Food was fresh and skillfully prepared and presented. We wish we could have stayed 2 more days!!

Dear Cheryl, Thank you for your lovely review, and your kind words. We are so delighted to hear your safari with us at Naboisho exceeded your expectations. The wildlife in the Naboisho conservancy really is special, and we are lucky to have great guides like Benjamin to help our guests discover everything that’s there. It’s great that you tried our outdoor star shower, too, they are a really fun part of the safari experience! It was a pleasure to host you and we hope you’ll return one day to our camp, or one of our sister camps in Kenya or Tanzania. Warm wishes from the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, The Naboisho team

We really enjoyed this camp. Eric and Carolyn were excellent hosts, looking after absolutely everything. Our guide was amazing at finding the lions, he could hear a roar and go right to it, even on the night drive. The food was the best we ate in any of the 5 camps we were in. Our visit to the Masai village was very informative. It was shocking to see how little they have but seem very happy. There is a $25 charge per person for the the village visit but the money goes right to the village. They practice polygamy so there were three men with 6 or 7 wives each. There were lots of children. The animals here are very plentiful. We loved seeing the hippos, crocodiles, lions, cheetahs, many birds, and giraffes. This is one of our two favorite camps. I would highly recommend it. The only thing that would have made it better was internet in the tents.

I don’t really know where to start. The service, the staff (Lenny and William) the management (Caroline, Eric and Roloff), the tents, the food, the location, our guide (Evalyn, yes FEMALE!!!) or the abundance of animals (so many cats!)... every moment of our stay was incredible. Private dining in different locations for each meal, which is a departure of the more celebratory family style they usually enjoy, was lovely because of the care they put into creating an experience at every meal. Even breakfast in the bush was delicious but I think everything tastes better when you eat with zebras. Arranged sundowners at the end of drives and around the campfire with champagne and roses for Valentines Day were also incredible touches. The pool area was a great place to relax between drives and cool down from the heat or escape the unseasonal rain shower with a view. The rooms were as comfortable as any fine hotel but with the advantage of roaring lions putting you to sleep and waking you up. The people of Asilia at Naboisho Camp were also more than just maintaining this well oiled machine. They were lovely, friendly, genuine, helpful, playful, interested and interesting.
I also can’t possibly do justice with words to describe our guide, Evalyn. A female guide is rare and she is AMAZING! She’s skilled and intuitive and she is where she is because she is more determined than maybe anyone I’ve ever met. I will do everything I can to have her part of my next safari (with Asilia).
Of course, the animals. While the grasses of the Mara were tall and limited viewing and the wildebeests were in Tanzania, Naboisho Conservancy offered more than I realized was possible! There are so many cats! We saw so many lions - one pride of 18, plus 3 adult male brothers - one of the brothers found a female from another pride to mate with. It seemed like the cheetah kept popping up around every corner. And if you want wildebeests in Kenya in February, visit Naboisho!
I highly recommend Asilia and Naboisho Camp specifically. I can’t wait to return.

Hello, Wow thank you so much for you amazing and passionate review, we truly appreciate the very special comments you have made. We loved having you in camp and so happy to hear that you had such a wonderful time staying with us. I completely agree food always tastes better when Zebra are milling around and a G&T is always better when you are watching an African sunset! Evalyn is amazing and such a shining light, at Asilia we actively encourage women to apply to our guide training as they are under represented in the safari industry. We also have a few amazing female guides at Dunia in the Serengeti. We are so proud of these women who are overcoming adversity and truly forging their own path! We can not wait for your return and look forward to welcoming you back some time soon. Warmest regards from Africa, The Naboisho Camp Team

This was our first safari and it exceeded our expectations. The experience began from landing in Nairobi where we were collected and taken to our next hotel before flying into Naibosho the following day. First thing to note is how professional but also friendly and cheerful everyone within the Asilia family was. When we landed in Naibosho we were collected by our wonderful guide, Jacob, who expertly led us to our new home with sneak peak into a game drive. At camp we were met by Richard & Oliver - titans of hospitality - who kindly talked us through the camp and what to expect.
The camp! Wow. Beautifully decorated, it felt very luxurious without being over the top and all the small touches (amazing toiletries, beautiful sheets, the turn down service with a hot water bottle) just added to it.
Food. You cannot go hungry in Naibosho Camp even if you tried, the food is too delicious to leave. Everything is delicately prepared and exquisite (thank you Diana and her team). The staff made you feel like you were their sole focus and we couldn’t want for anything (specific thanks to Lenny, Vincent, John & Junior)
The drives. It’s important to note the quality of the conservancy here. The animal protection is clear but unobtrusive allowing you to really get up close and personal to the animals (and off road!). The drives are long and full and delivered expertly by guides who know everything and answer all questions no matter how small. Also the guides are brilliant fun. Jacob who looked after us made everything so personal and we had such a brilliant time with him.
General experience. This was a beautiful, sensitively placed camp where you were truly made to feel like family. It made it very sad to leave because it was just so wonderul. Thank you everyone at Naibosho Camp!

A trip with the family requires connecting tents and the newly built and furbished family tents in Asilia Naboisho Camp were the largest and most lux ones we have stayed so far. With separate bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers and double sinks dedicated to each bedroom, it is also ideal for two couples. The service, friendliness of the staff, cleanness and food was great. Kudos to their special gluten free treats, which the kids ended up preferring to the normal ones. The drives were all we can hope for, with lots of kills and lions wandering around the camp. Sam was very good as a ranger/ driver, and managed to connect with the kids as well. First time we stayed in an Asilia camp and glad we have done it!

Our stay at Naboisho was probably our favorite overall experience on our visit to Kenya in Oct 2021. The location of the camp, the staff, the food, the guides (shout out to Raphael - the best) made the whole experience something we will talk about for years to come. We loved the camp, a little bit of rustic but so comfortable, we loved sitting in the front of our tent watching the elephants, giraffes and zebras roam. The abundance of wildlife in the conservancy was wonderful, our guide Raphael knew exactly where to be and when to have amazing experiences watching wildlife. We saw lots of lions and cheetahs, which we loved, and personally, I loved hearing lions during the night, it’s such a wonderful experience. We rented the photo Jeep for a day, if you are into photography, we highly recommend. The pool house is a great place to relax after lunch with a beverage and watch the wildlife - lots of open air places to relax outside of your tent on the property if you have concerns during COVID. The food was fantastic (still thinking of that chocolate mousse dessert). If you are reading this researching places to stay, you will not be disappointed booking Naboisho Camp. We will make a return visit to Kenya and Naboisho will be part of that trip. The beauty of the Conservancy and the kindness of the people will stay with you long after you leave. - Asante!

Our four night stay at Naboisho Camp in the Naboisho Conservancy was a highlight of our family trip to Kenya. The camp is well run, with hosts Erik and Caroline providing a family experience. Our field guide, Dickson, was the best guide we encountered during our two week stay in Kenya. Highly suggest taking a walk with guide Lucas. Tents are spacious and comfortable. Wildlife abounds, with lions, zebras and elephants all nearby this camp location. Never a dull moment at this camp! Food was excellent. Wifi tent was popular with our kids on breaks.

Hello,
Showers start to creep back in as the dry season comes to an end. Temperatures are creeping up, so walks are best done in the early mornings. The last of the main migration herds make their way south while the Loita herds move North through the Naboisho Conservancy.
Kind regards
