Alexander was an amazing host. So friendly and thoughtful, and for that I give all the credit in the world! It was fantastic to stay right in the jungle and his place is cute and full of charm with animals and little jungle pathways and birds to watch. Breakfast was very good with both buffet and made to order items. Although the set up for the cabana is very suited to a family, I regretfully could not give more then 3 stars because the quality of sleep is poor. The sheets, pillows and mattresses don't measure up to the standard, including several other properties in Costa Rica. I didn't sleep well and was very bothered because of it. Because Alexander was so wonderful, he offered me better pillows when I expressed my discomfort. Maybe it's more like 3.5 stars.

Staying in Posada Andrea Cristina was a crucial part on making my trip to Costa Rica very special. Making the arrangements online with Evelyn was very promising, she replied right away to all my emails with the information required. At my arrival, Kathy, in charge of reception among other duties, was warm and professional making me feel at home right away in my amazing tree-house, gorgeous and comfortable. The property is stunning and really well kept. A jungle crossed by pretty mosaic paths that take you to the different cabins, is inhabited by happy birds and frogs. Breakfast served in a beautiful covered outdoor area is the best way to start your day: fruits, eggs, coffe and homemade bread by Alex, who is the wizard who has made all of these possible. He is an environmentalist/engineer/architect/artist and a cook. Great to have the chance to meet him. To complete the dream stay I had this fantastic rafting tour with Green Rivers, a company operating out of the posada, which is very convenient. If interested please read my review about this rafting tour operator.

The place is charming and the owner very kind . We had the tree house and had a beautiful view. The room itself was ok. There were too many beds in our opinion and no real places to put Our clothes. The decoration is simple and the mattress could be changed but it is ok. For one night this place is ok but not sure for more . I guess It depends of what you are looking for

Beautiful little site, different options of accomondation. Very Clean, excellent breakfast with fresh fruits and homemade bread. Amazing tree top house with balcony towards the jungle. The owner Alex has excellent knowledge of the animals and plants, in the evening you can see many frogs and in the morning he feeds the birds and iguanas right next to the breakfast location. We also booked a fantastic rafting trip, they offer different types of adventures, we took a medium one with a morning full of fun and a swim in the river with really experienced and funny guides. Thank you for the good time, we totally recommend to stay there and do a rafting trip with them.

We began our 2 week trip to Costa Rica staying with Alex and his family for 3 nights. It was wonderful. Alex and his family are so kind. The birds zoomed by as we ate breakfast each morning. Our family of three stayed in one of the tree houses. So much fun. We took a birdwatching trip with Kevin...we saw more than 70 species. We recommend this lovely place and a birdwatching trip with Kevin.
