Excellent location and great views from any lake view room. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Close to restaurants and shops. Good to walk along the lake front and watch lake activities. Parking is available other than at the hotel but is time limited.

Is parking available at the hotel?

Dear Trip Advisor member, thank you very much for your interest with the Grand Hotel du Lac Vevey. We do have a private and secured parking with Vallet service at an extra charge of CHF 40 per night. Otherwise, public parking spaces remain available very close by to the hotel (free of charge at night and on Sunday). We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you very soon in Vevey, best regards.

I am travelling alone and have requested through my travel agent a standard single room south facing (lake view) on a half board basis, I sincerely hope I get a room with a shower, and I love the yellow tones and the old fashioned look over ultra modern the hotel sounds magnificent and I do hope it lives up to my expectations.

I have decided this is the only hotel I am interested in staying and a travel agent is looking at the options right now a task I thought I could not manage however I would like a bit more than a standard room and wonder if a superior room is available and when
