We visited Poracay Resort during summertime. We did not made any reservations because the Resort doesn't want to reserve because its Peak Season. Luckily, we still manage to get a room. But in surprise, We need to drive in the farther East side of the Resort to get into our Room and We need to walk to get there. (Parking is located somewhere else. You can't park your car near the Rooms.) Finally we reached our room and packed out. The room is nice. It has Cable TV, Airconditioned, Small Ref, and it has a Gas Stove equipped with Gas tank, if clients wants to cook their Food. It was a quiet room. But it is Far from all the amenities. You need to walk to get to the Pools and other stuff. Anyway, their pools are big and clean. They offer kayaking in their man-made River. They also have rock climbing, Skybiking, Rapelling and other stuff. (You need to check that out.) The best time to get there is SATURDAYS, because they offer a Live Band Show and because they sound like BORACAY. Poracay also has Fire dancers during the Saturday show. A lot could be said to Poracay, but its much better to visit them and see them for yourself. Remember to ready your feet because its a Resort that promotes Walking.

First time to visit this place, considering we lived almost at the same location. Anyways, the best time to spend the winter-summer time with family is to come here especially if you are fond of swimming and picnics, its worth to come here. The price is reasonable, you can bring your own food and drinks, there's available pool for children and adult, there was the Zipline but it was under maintenance so we were a little disappointed. There was the Kayaking but we didnt try. it was sort of warm weather so the resort is not busy but summer time it is fully-booked. I remember my niece said that she wants to be celebrate her Debut here, it is actually to celebrate important occasions here. Poracay Resort is found in the boundary of Manibaug and Porac.

We traveled by van going at poracay reort, it was a bit far but that's fine since. I was with my team member on this trip. You wont be expecting a big resort such as this since you have to pass pamapanga and either sides of it you will only see ash from the mount pinatubo eruption. Finally we got there, the rooms are small but the beds were cozy. Enough for the whole team. There were 4 big pools that's the way i remember it. Activities to do zip line, kayak and probably biking if you have one. Few people come to this place since it's far but once you get there its' all worth. It's like going in the middle of the desert and finding an oasis

We went there with my friend yesterday 28Apr we did not expect the that place is too far from the muncipality so we travel from makati to poracay for almost 6hrs. If you are plan to go there on longweekd we suggest to leave your origin aa early as 8am. When arrived at the hotel smooth lang ang check-in namen we did not expect upon entering the Villa we were surpised bcoz the pool is far from the pool you need to rent cottage to enjoy your swimming and to bond with your family and friends. especially if you have senior and pregnant na kasama mahihirapan sila umakyat baba sa stairs papunta pool kaya need nyo talaga ng cottage. Other disppapointed there you need to rent a griller fo your to grill and they deposit of 650pesos and 150 for the rent of the griller. Also the cottage we were advised by their agent in FB that we will pay half for the cottage since we have villa rented and also half day use lng nman from 5pm-10pm nasurprise kmi nun nagpunta kami sa registration chinarge parn kmi ng 1500 for the cottage kasi daw nakacheck in n kmi and not temporary shelter while waiting the villa’s ready. So no choice na talaga kaya binayaran nmen yunb cottage as whole day use parin kasi daw wala silang half day use fare. Then the next day the check out is 12nn we want sana to extend until 5pm kahit sa cottage lng and chck out na kmi sa villa. Kailangan daw ulit namen magbayad ng entrance fee of 200 pesos each if mageextend kmi from 1pm-5pm and need to pay din ng cottage of 1500pesos🙄.

Poracay has dirty toilets (no flush, no toilet seats), dirty ceilings (with cobwebs), dirty wall fans, dirty filter of air condition unit, dirty TV, no cable channels, wifi signal is weak and the service staff failed to provide their best to relieve our inconvenience. We also discovered an old toilet seat in one of the cabinets full of urine. The OIC of the resort asked us to move to another villa which was also dirty. We asked the cleaners to clean the new villa but they didn't do anything. Instead we cleaned the room by ourselves.

Personally I will not rank it even 1*. People experience different treatment in every establishment they are going. For me when me and my family visited this resort it is not good. When we enter to the gate and paid all the amount they took of the receipt and said to go to the main entrance and someone will be there to assist us. We reached the entrance and nobody there sobwe kept walking to find them and to find our rented place. We saw on person and we asked they said they dont know. So we find the place and we thought this is the one. Kept asking all the stuff and they dont help at all and most of them are so rude to the point that all my family wants to walk off. Finally a security guard came and said this is not the place for you. So we went to the other side of the resort and he said thats the cottage! And for me I cannot accept it so I said we paid the right amount of money and you are saying that we need to be in this area which is congested as other guests doing their barbeque and swim where he put us right next to the barbeque grill with all those smoke. So I said can we use the other side please we cant sit here in this congested place (for me ill refuse cos we paid for it so why we will sit in congested area where the other side are empty) so he got annoyed by me rudely speaking to me that I need to go back to the entrance and talk and I refuse i will not walk that far just to talk while he had a radio to communicate with them. Finally he did call them using their radio, the lady replied are they sure they want to change, alibi saying its hot in there, its not good area. Where for us its good cos the swimming pool is not congested and the area are empty. I insist to move and they agreed when we reached there i chose the top area over looking the scenery and i inform them that i chose the top cottage and ask the security to inform that woman again. She replied rudely and said "tell them thats their lst chance to sit in that cottage or else their out!" So rude when u paod the exact amount they've asking! Non of their stuff are polite and all are rude and no hospitality at all. People may hate me about this post but im sorry thats my personal experience so what ever experience you got its different from what ive got. Not because people are wearing simple clothes and flip flops doesnt mean they cant pay or not for you to judge but the humiliation and the rudeness i recieved is really annoying. Thats my first and last visit to that place. You need to learn how to cope up with guests and be nice!

It's my birthday treat to my mother and to my family. I made my reservation by calling in their celphone numbers. Send through email a copy of my down payment receipt. I did not receive any confirmation from my email so I decided to them text but still no reply. I called up to make sure that they receive my email because I had a bad experience to a resort who did make an acknowledgement. I book a 2 bedroom villa. It is quite spacious and even have an AC in the living room which we love. The facilities is nice and the water in the pool is clean. Because the area is big so a lot of walking needed in going to the the different pools. They should provide a ramp for their wheel bound guest so it will be convenient. We stayed in villa D15 and it is located below the parking area. We had a hard time bringing down my mother and my aunt. Repairs and maintenance should be done often in their villas because their screen doors already needs repairs.Flies come inside the kitchen because the screen door is already defective.

Over-all, we enjoy our stay and it is highly recommended for those looking for another venue in their week end vacation.

Good for large families and group of friends. Price is somewhat too pricey for value. The pools are great. There are lots to choose from. The bathroom is unclean and smells badly too. The aircondition unit stopped working during the next day and we couldn't cook because there were no pans, pots or utensils.

There is only one good thing about this resort.... pools were clean. All others 👎....staff needs a lesson on customer service; every single thing has a price on it even the use of barbecue pit we have to pay 800 bucks for it; we checked in their villas for 2 nites and we still have to pay separate entrace fees for the use of the pools for each day that we are there- and you would think its complimentary to use their facilities; villas has no towels or toiletries provided, no kitchen utensils, bathrooms were delapidated; you have to pay extra for checking in early or out late even if its only for 30 mins; lastly resort is way too far from the main road.😱
