Our usual stop when travelling South from Le Havre. Standards have slipped since our visit last year but the room was clean enough. We had dinner in the Courtepaille restaurant next door and then returned to our room for an early night. It was very quiet. We had breakfast but most of the food had been eaten and the buffet was not replenished - disappointing. Not sure we will stay again.

On the positive side: good water flow, and the rooms are equipped with a bath. However, lighting in the bathroom insufficient and very "cold", reminding me of hotels in former east Germany. Also only 3 (identical) lights in the room. No restaurant, but there is a Courtepaille adjacent to the hotel. As a hotel guest you get 10% off the food. Poor internet connection (I had no problems in other Ibis Styles), streaming was permanently interrupted. Also, sound isolation could be better, you can almost understand what people say when they pass your room in the corridor.

jThe Hotel staff were very welcoming - which was must appreciated on our arrival at midnight! The room was clean and quiet even with the main road outside. The breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. Check-in and out were speedy.

After a long trip from Toulon we reached Brive by 6pm. Roads were good and traffic light. Lovely countryside. Rather tired, but okay , we then spent an hour trying to find the hotel. In desperation we eventually visited the train station and asked for help. It turned out that the address on the official site was incomplete! With the revised address in the Sat Nav we eventually reached Ibis just after 7pm. The welcome was efficient, if a little brusque. The room clean but rather small. The evening meal in the nearby busy restaurant was nothing special. The buffet breakfast was adequate. Then on departure we raised the issue of the incomplete address. Apparently the hotel was aware of the problem - unbelievable. So, if you do visit make sure you put ‘ 3 Rue Armand Sourie’ in the SatNav. Maybe one day Ibis Management will listen to its junior staff. This was our first visit to an Ibis. On our journey south to the Med we used Campanile as usual. There was one next door - I expect their address was correct! So next stop Ibis Saumur. Will we find it? Here’s hoping.

Staff were very friendly and efficient, however the hotel itself doesn't have a lot to offer for an extended stay. The rooms were clean and quiet, but had very little in terms of amenities. This would be a fine hotel for one or maybe two nights, but if you're looking to stay any longer than that, you might want to choose another location. We were there because it was a short notice trip for us and at vacation time in France. It was difficult to find enough rooms in the same hotel for the length of time we were there. Also, the hotel is more or less on the outskirts of town, so not a lot of restaurants nearby to choose from.

This was our third visit to this Hotel. We chose to stay here because of the close proximity to A20 and the large supermarket and fuel station nearby. There is large disruption going on in the car park currently where it looks like a restaurant is being built there ( Courtepaille?). Fortunately the building works did not have any impact on the Hotel. Our room was on the second floor and was quiet. The carpet outside the room is split and is a trip hazard. The room itself was clean with the welcome addition of a bottle of water and some Haribos. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels in the shower room. Dinner was chaotic with too many diners and not enough serving staff. The food when it arrived was delicious as usual so no complaints about that. We decided to let the workers have their breakfast before we went down and we were alone down there with no serving staff to be found. The food was picked over and not replenished for anyone coming after 8.45. Disappointing to say the least. Next time we head south we are going to try the Ibis Budget Hotel that is next door and eat at the new restaurant.

Arriving after a trip of more than 900km reception was friendly and efficient. The restauarant however closed before closinf time and did not want to open again obliging us to the car again to go out to find something to eat<; this is the first time that we experience this.

Having stayed here previously enroute South we had no hesitation in booking again. We had a lukewarm welcome from the receptionist and it was lucky that we knew how to find our room as no directions were offered. Our room was clean, the welcome bottle of water and the Haribo GoldenBears were gratefully received. The large bed was comfortable but I was glad that I had packed some slippers as the floor was sticky. The bathroom was clean but like a previous reviewer, I would have liked some grab rails and a non slip mat to help with getting in & out of the bath when using the shower as I felt a bit vulnerable to slipping. There was plenty of hotwater. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious and the waitstaff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was well stocked but there were no staff around to assist if help was required. Overall, we would stay here again because of the location and good value for money.

Stayed here on our journey to Spain. Not as bright and colourful as the pictures make it out to look like. Room was a little smaller than expected with orange type chip wallpaper (like a 70s version of decorating). However, bathroom was clean and shower was good. Breakfast was good in the morning with plenty to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not a good comparison to other Ibis Styles I have stayed in. Easy to get to from the autoroute
