This hotel deserves 5 stars for the reasonable price for what you receive. The decor is stark modern and efficient. The rooms are very clean with daily excellent maid service. The breakfast room surrounded by windows overlooking the town is a pleasant surprise. There is free parking on the side street. The Galleon restaurant next door is excellent and reasonable. The desk staff are pleasant and helpful. There is a seating in the lobby with good bar service. We could easily find the place which is important to us. There are different room sizes with small frig but no coffee maker. You can control the AC in your room. For the price we paid it’s a good deal.

Sam is a modern hotel located in the central area of Monfalcone. Personnel is extremely courteous and makes your stay comfortable and familiar. Rooms are very clean and the WiFi connection powerful and stable, despite the high number of guests. The only two negative points for my experience were the cold laminated floor (I would have largely preferred the carpet) and the narrow entrance of the shower (the water was anyway great!). I was very surprised of the stunning panoramic location used for the breakfast and for the incredibly high range and quality of food served. Sam is definitely the only hotel I would ever like to stay in Monfalcone.

I stayed here two days. The room where big and clean, the wifi connection where good, a little bit of noise from the air condition but not a big problem. The shower where in a bath tub, that is something i do not enjoy as there is water all over the floor when I'm finished showering. The breakfast is OK, typical European. Lots of sweets. I'm thinking, better not get your hopes up. Will have no problem staying here again.

First time in this hotel and i couldn't find any fault. Room was beautiful, Very helpful friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. The room was amazing and had everything you need. I recommend it and I will come back.

This is a lovely hotel, possibly a little bit clinical however as the reviews show the standard on the whole was ok. My problem was as follows, having booked in for four nights our bill was almost €700.00. The morning of departure I had to leave early, I missed breakfast, however I asked my partner to bring me a yougart. We met in reception where she explained that the waiter in the breakfast lounge had shouted at her and told her that she was not to take food. Never again will I stay at this hotel. The man was rude and offensive. My suggestion, stay at another hotel not the SamHotel.
