#10 of 18 hotels in Milazzo
Set within an ancient building in the centre of Milazzo and overlooking the sea and Aeolian Islands, the hotel is located in the area of Vaccarella, an ancient district of fishermen. The town has Medieval origins and has been used by the Arabs and then by the Normans as the gateway to the treasures of Aeolian Islands. Today Milazzo boasts a tourist port which connects the Aeolian Islands by high-speed ferryboats or ships.

Arrived without prebooking, at 1900, welcomed by a young lady. We booked 3 rooms. Receptionist was very helpful, had a problem with the shower in 1 room but it was arranged, things that can happen. Located in a very nice area in milazzo, parking can be abit of a problem. Good sized rooms but abit old fashioned for our taste. Basic breakfast served by a cheery waitress always wearing a big contagious smile on her face. 😊

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable room. The shower was a little on the smaller side, but the water pressure was great. Staff was very friendly. The location was great. A/C was very good. Disliked · The bed and bedding were a little uncomfortable, but I still managed a good night of sleep. This is a comfortable little hotel, but don't go there expecting the Hilton.

Milazzo is very beautiful, and staying in this hotel made for a memorable experience. Tight across the street a lot of places to eat and sit for a drink with the beautiful view of the port. 10 mins walk the spectacular Castle and also a 10 min walk to the port where you can get a boat to go visit the Aeolian islands. Nice spacious room with air conditioning, beautiful Versace tiles, nice shower and lovely staff. A bit dated, needs some freshen up here and there. They could add some fruit and veggies to the breakfast as it is mainly sweet Italian style.

Have been to this Hotel a number of years ago. Still a very clean, well situated, beautifully decorated Hotel. We're given an upgrade, which was much appreciated. The views of the water and Milazzo fishing were amazing. The room was spacious, well appointed, clean with a huge bathroom. The Italian breakfast was served buffet with a lot of choices, all great. They will make you an excellent capachino to go with the amazing choices of cakes and pastries. Cheeses, meats, eggs and breads were among the many choices. It is served in a beautiful dining room with plenty of seating. Were welcomed upon arrival from very helpful and kind staff. There is free parking in front of the Hotel, which was very convenient. Located close to many restaurants, shops and the town center, all within walking distance. Tickets and boat transportation is also within minutes of walking. Would return to this recently renovated Hotel.

Stayed in, I presume, a standard room, overlooking the seafront. Excellent bed, good linen and very clean. Shower room was ok. The shower itself was very small and a bit "tired". Excellent pressure to the shower though. Towels were good and changed everyday. Breakfast is self service although the coffee is served to you. Tea making facilities available in the breakfast room. Typical continental breakfast with lots of pastries and cakes (croissants lovely in a warming cabinet). Hard boiled eggs were usually available if you don't leave it too late. You can make your own toast if wanted. The location is great, walking distance to some very nice restaurants. Although opposite the" beach," it is for the small fishing boats, very picturesque and they sell their catch every day. Loved Milazzo, it is not a resort town as such, no tatty souvenir shops but a working port. This hotel is a flat 15/20 minute walk away from the port. Hotel staff were all very pleasant all spoke English except the nice lady running the breakfast room. A car is a must for visiting the peninsular and the northern coast of Sicily but driving through the town/towns is hair-raising to say the least! Sat nav for the towns is a must. Motorways are fine. Trip to the Aeolian islands is a must. Although we stayed for 10 nights most residents seemed to be there for just a couple. Only downside for us was although there is Sky tv you can only get one news programme in English. They have excellent Wi-fi though.
