The hotel location is not great at all, you have to walk uphill! (very steep) for 20-25 mins to get to bus station, the other road does not have pedestrian way. The room was full of ants and manager of the hotel gave me Flash to spray. It is the worst place to stay with family. Not acceptable for kids and no road to use pram! If you want to go anywhere you have to carry your kids as it is too dangerous (cars pass by everywhere - no pedestrian road at all)! Breakfast (and food in general) was awful. We stayed for dinner once and the fish served was smelly! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially with kids! The only thing which was good it was hotel stuff - friendly and smiley. Especially the guy at the pool. (The pool was dirty by the way.)

My partner and I stayed here on half board for a week and had the most amazing time! It’s in amazing location being only a 20mins bus journey to Sorrento. The staff are amazing and so friendly they speak really good English and are very polite. The local area is really nice with good restaurants and shops. The food on half board was really good with plenty of food choices in the evening and a buffet style breakfast. I don’t have a bad word to say about the hotel! My partner and I will 100% be coming back!

Absolutely lovely, relaxing hotel. Having a small amount of rooms meant we always got a sunbed, and pool was never crowded. Staff were polite and really helpful. Lovely location with stunning views across to naples and watching the sunset from the veranda is beautiful. Air conditioning was a godsend in the extreme heat and was always working and kept the room really cool.

Piccolo Paradiso is a little gem. However, it may not be for those with mobility issues or those looking for nightlife without their own transport. We booked with Jet 2 via our independent travel agent, tracey.carter@notjusttravel.com. fully recommended, goes above and beyond! Due to the narrow roads you will be transferred from the coach to smaller transport, not ideal but it was well organised. It is made clear at time of booking. If you are looking to be surrounded by Brits and wanting fish and chips you will be disappointed. It is situated just below Massa Lubrense and just above Marina Lobra. By the nature of the coast every trip or walk is either uphill or downhill. This is a quiet area and not for those that want the ability to go shopping in the evening or eat out on a regular basis, unless you hire a car. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that will take you to Massa Lubrense and connect with a bus into Sorrento or towards other resorts. There is one direct bus either way from outside the hotel. Tickets can be obtained from the hotel. Buses are cheap, taxis are very expensive. The sunsets over Capri are stunning. You can get boat trips from the marina along the Amalfi Coast or to Capri, the hotel can book for you at no extra cost.. These are good value and of course no coach transfer required! There are very limited places to swim in the sea and due to the constant boat movements along the coast from Sorrento and the harbour between 08.30 and 19.00, the sea is quite choppy and not particularly pleasant to swim in, early or late is much better. There is no beach. Massa Lubrense has a range of shops and restaurants but is a small town. Marina Lobra has a couple of restaurants and a fantastic bar called Angelos serving drinks and snacks. A family run business in a lovely position. Angelos also has a shop. Angelos is a must visit! We had a room that overlooked the bay of Naples and Capri with a balcony. The views were stunning. The rooms are slightly dated but the hotel is gradually being upgraded. The rooms are clean with towels and linen changed daily. The basic rooms do not have a balcony so make sure you know what you are booking! The hotel is used by local Italian guides for groups who tend to use the basic rooms. Rooms had air conditioning, an electronic safe and a small TV. No kettle but you can hire one for 3 euros per day (we took a travel kettle). There were not enough hangers for clothes. The Swimming Pool is on the small side but kept very clean. At weekends sunbeds were not always available, particularly in the afternoon. The reception area is very well presented. The hotel is over 4 floors with a lift. The restaurant is kept clean. Breakfast is continental and a good choice. We took the half board option, which gave 3 courses. The food was always hot, with at least 3 or 4 choices of starters or mains. No choice of desert. If choices were not to your liking the staff did try to accommodate your wishes. The staff could not do enough for you. They were always pleasant and polite and tried to help in any way they could. As ever you get back what you give and I don't mean tipping. This is a family hotel that is a little old fashioned. Just what we like, quiet, peaceful and quaint. We hope to return.

home now after a visit to piccolo Paradiso. What a lovely week spent there this hotel is really nice, almost old school, with its attentive staff and great position in Massa lubrense , leaves you to just enjoy your holiday and savour the lovely food in their restaurant. and judging by the amount of Italians who drop in for a long weekend it has a good reputation. its in easy reach of Sorrento and the re nouned sight's there, but its very peaceful, try Angelo's bar in the harbour for a very warm welcome. But beware the hills and steps to everywhere helps to work of the fine food.

Fabulous in every way. Clean, modern, friendly, fabulous views and beautiful area. The pool area is great and again the terrace has spectacular views. I had the most fantastic week in the hotel. A great base for exploring the area. Bus stop outside hotel with 2 buses per day direct to sorrento and a few buses a day up to massa lubrense where you can connect for buses to sorrento. Its a 15 minute walk from the hotel up a very very steep hill if you fancy some exercise. The area isn’t suitable for anyone with mobility/health issues. The whole area is very steep. This wasn’t an issue for me. A short walk down several steps takes you to the harbour and access to swim In the see. Also to Angelos bar/restaurant which serves delicious food and provides casual evening drinks with a fabulous view. One of my favourite holidays.

We've just come back from a week staying at Hotel Piccolo Paradiso. It's in a lovely location and for us we liked the fact that it was away from crowds. It is quiet so wouldn't be for people that want nightlife however we loved it. The hotel is just up from the marina and it is a 5 minute walk to the marina downhill but is quite strenuous coming back up. There is a small shop and a great snack bar called Angelos - highly recommended especially the margarita pizza and bruschetta. There are 3 other restaurants but didn't use them. Its also where the boat trips go from - can recommend both the capri trip and the amalfi trip booked through the hotel. You can also swim from little steps outside their sister hotel which was nice. It is 10 minutes from the village centre however it is all uphill however the bus stops right outside the hotel and stops in the village centre - you buy a ticket at the reception which allows you to travel into Sorrento. The hotel was small but perfect and our room had a great balcony with fabulous views. We had a fridge in the room which was great but a kettle would have been nice too however it wasn't essential. The room was lovely and clean. The only downside was the bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was buffet style - hams, cheese, breads and cereals, croissants and cakes and there was plenty of it. We were on a half board and the evening meals had three choices for starters and the same for main meals and the food was very good and the waiting staff were brilliant and very helpful. One night my bracelet fell off and one of the staff picked it up and made sure I was reunited with it - thankyou 😊 The drinks at the bar were reasonably priced - especially the limoncella spritz! My favourite! The pool area is great though we didn't use it that much but the pool was great when I did go for a swim! The reception staff were brilliant and very helpful - my husband left his phone on the bus and Antonella was so helpful in getting his phone back! Thankyou once again. You can book trips and everything through the hotel and it's good value too. Apart from the uncomfortable bed we had a fabulous hiday at Hotel Piccolo Paradiso - thankyou to all the staff that made our stay perfect. Will miss the sunsets over the bay across to Ischia amongst other things! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. Thankyou so much ❤️

We love 'Little Paradise' and have returned for the third time to recharge. The location is perfect with views to die for. ( It is situated on the coast but this means rather hilly and some may find difficulty walking up or down steep paths). The food at this Hotel is amazing and typical Italian home cooking . I would recommend half board to get the benefit of all the Menu. The hotel is prestine with a high standard of cleanliness Everyone is working hard to keep up an excellent standard; with happy staff and management. We will be back.

Spotlessly clean but dated. Food was lower quality than expected and hardly any choice. Service was slow but very friendly. Lack of advice on how to get to places was annoying can could of cost us missing a trip. The location is very hilly so only go if you don’t mind steep hills and walking! Wouldn’t stay again because of lack of places to walk too.

Response from FRANCESCA CACACE, Altro at Hotel Piccolo Paradiso
Responded Oct 10, 2022
We are sorry to hear about your disappointment with us. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify the areas we can improve the guest experience. We are very sorry to learn that you didn’t appreciate our cooking: half board menu offers a different choice of dishes to better meet customers' needs and we also have an a-la-carte menu. Our cuisine is based on a mixture of tradition and innovations. About tourist information, we used to have a lot of flyer but in compliance with the Anti-Covid regulations, we could not expose nothing but we are always glad to give our guest all the information they need. About the location is not exactly hilly, actually our hotel is about thirty meters above sea level. The bus stop is just outside the hotel and you don’t have necessarily walk to reach others places. Best Regards Francesca Cacace
