Great place to enjoy your holiday season. Great staff and other people. The pool is the best place. Rooms are tidy clean and comfortable. The staff is personally, and well manored. If you go to lipari this is your place.
Great hotel, near the city center but still peaceful and quiet. They have a shuttle service to the Harbour. You get clean towels and a cleaned room every day. They have a really large swimming pool with enough sunbeds for everyone. The breakfast is big they have sweets but also 3 different eggs and bread and everything you can imagine, heaven on earth!
Recently stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on a Saga holiday. Good Points: gardens and pool area are pretty and the location is just a few minutes from the town centre. Reception staff very helpful with good English. Unfortunately that is the only good things I can say about this hotel. Rooms are dingy, dark and very dated, and smelt musty. Not quaint - but tatty. Nothing worked properly in bathroom. Shower heads falling off, hair dryers hardly working, I could go on. Things didn’t improve in the dining area. Food very boring and uninspiring, quantities very small - apart from the pasta! - I have never left hungry before after eating a 3 course meal. Breakfast was also a great disappointment, no hot food, toaster that didn’t work etc but lots of dry tasteless cake. Unfortunately the whole experience wasn't improved by the arrogant attitude of some of the waiting staff. This was my first experience of a Sicilian hotel and I left feeling very disappointed and would never recommend.…
We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Gattopardo Park hotel and had a fabulous time. The hotel staff were very helpful. I contacted the hotel before arrival to request transfer from the ferry. I was advised to call when the ferry was at Vulcano. We were then picked up on arrival in Lipari without any issues. The hotel surroundings are lovely. The pool area was beautiful and much needed with the heat! There is a small bar area next to the pool for drinks, snacks and icecream. Our room was spacious, clean and functional although a little dated. We had a room away from the pool area with a small terrace. Beware the mosquitos! Breakfast was continental and was more than adequate. Dinner is available in the hotel but we chose to wander into town which is about a 5 to 10 minute walk down the hill. The hotel also provided transfer to the ferry terminal on departure and also printed some tickets we needed for buses on return to Sicily. We had a lovely time in Lipari and found it the perfect base to explore the Aeolian islands. I'd recommend a stay at the Gattopardo Park Hotel which was very good value for the price. …
Lovely hotel just a short walk from the centre of Lipari. The rooms were quirky, but comfortable and the staff helpful and obliging. The breakfasts were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
