The Hotel interior is very old. Room accessories are the cheapest materials. No proper lights in the room and difficult to find a socket to charge your phone. Aircon not yet activated in middle of May and the room was very hot. You can open the window but does not really help and noise will disturb your sleep. Toilette seat was cracked but someone tried to fix it with glue. Why not change? TV remote has no battery so I cannot comment the available channels. Room was clean but the size of the bed for a child. No quilt only a bedsit to cover your self. The room keys really from the 80’ 😂 Breakfast was allright but I would not stay again in this *** hotel.
Awfull stay, nothing good about the stay. My family and i came into the lobby and we could just sense that it has had its prime. Everything is outdated, staff were not that interrested in their jobs and we go got handed our keys from the 1980s.. all this and we havnt even left the lobby. We went up to our rooms and was shocked by the conditions, it looked nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. We could not lock our terrase door, found hairs in the bad beds. The doors were as thin as paper and the rooms smelled awfull .We went down and cancelled the second night we had booked there and wanted a refund. We got the second night cancelled and were promised a discount on the 1 night we had to stay. When we came to checkout the next day after some not so good breakfeast we had to wait 15 min in the reception because the staff had to have a smoke or something. And when we said we were promised a discount yesterday, and we All in all i would never visit the hotel or the city again in the near future…
The hotel is old and worn out, the staff are tired of their jobs, the interior and rooms are awful. Must have been our worst hotel experience in all of our nights in Italy (as well as most of others in Europe)
A simple family run business 150 meters from the beach and 300 meters from the main strip. The rooms are basic but super clean. The staff were most helpful especially the young lady at check in. Rental bikes were complimentary, great to get around so easy. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Would return
So, Hotel Argentina is a basic 3 star hotel, but some amenities are more like 2-star. It's a simple hotel concept of great location, helpful staff. The location is great for the beach, restaurants and SPAR supermarket nearby. Everything is OK after a fashion, but the door locks need renewing, WiFi should be 2015 and not 1999 technology, 1989 TV, must serve fruit at breakfast. A little new paint and renovation would help. If they offer you a special low price, it might be worth taking - else there are other places somewhere who will offer you slightly better quality for not much more.
We choose this hotel, just because it has an special name for us. The people working there is very kind and helped us very much, they were in every detail. The food is also very good, all fresh and well done. The room was cleany and tidy, warm and nice. Definitely we felt as at home.
Hotel Argentina ist a simple 3 star hotel, with a 5 Star service minded Employees. The location is 150 m away from the beach entrance, restaurants for breakfast, diner, lunch and a supermarket a close by. Everything clean and simple, a new renovated Bathroom. Watchout if you come by car. on Saturday you cannot park in the street, because of the weekly market. Make sure you park inside oder somewhere else.
I stayed for two nights in Grado at Hotel Argentina and had a lovely stay. Some staff spoke English, but most did not. Fortunately, I also speak Spanish, and the majority of the staff did speak Spanish (my Italian is dreadful and did not try that). The room was small but comfortable, and the location was nice as it was off the beaten path a little bit to avoid some of the noise from the beaches, but it was not so far away as to be inconvenient in small Grado. I had a great time, and would stay there again.
