Stayed September 2014 with wife & in laws. This is a great little guest house a little out of the centre of Grado. Rooms are average size & feature television, fridge & air conditioning plus ample storage and a couple of chairs. Bathroom is compact with shower & bidet. Room has juliet balcony, although doors can be opened fully so you can sit looking out. Breakfast is very good with cereals, juice, fruit, croissants, various breads and rolls, coldcuts, jams etc - staff are very attentive replenishing things and providing drinks as you like (try the fantastic hot chocolate) This guesthouse is on a small island connected to central Grado by a roadbridge and separate footbridge, 5 - 10 mins walk into centre. There are a few restaurants on this island, otherwise just houses and boat moorings. Be aware that the staff at Meuble Tripoli speak little English, I think most visitors are Italian and German so these are the languages mostly spoken. Only niggles during stay were sometimes cleaner would remove towels! and that we were woken by screaming baby in room next door. Wifi is available on the 1st floor but hardly works on 2nd floor. Remember your mosquito repellant, there is no shortage of the critters (beds do feature mosquito nets)

Due to bad weather at home we spent a few days in Grado. We were lucky because there the summer was bad as well - only not during the five days we were there. So this hotel, which is normally good booked, had a room to spare on short notice. It was a very pleasent stay. Opposite the street is a yacht harbour, the neighbourhood was very calm and the rooms were clean and tidy. Next time in Grado we hope we'll stay there again - if they have a room to spare.

This hotel was our first one during our Italy roadtrip. We stayed there for 3 nights and really enjoyed everything about it. Very welcoming owners who were trying everything to make your stay as nice as possible. Breakfast was absolutely ok with good coffee and everything you basically need. The location is quiet, a bit outside the touristic and busy old town on a small island with sea view from nearly every room. It's only an about 10-15 min walk from the hotel to the center of Grado. Definitely recommend this place!
