Sara at reception was extremely helpful by sorting out taxis and dinner reservations for us. The apartment and communal areas were kept extremely clean during coronavirus. The location is great and a 15mins wall to town.
We stayed at Touring Aparthotel as a family of four, in August (pandemic times) for 12 nights. The hotel is freshly and tastefully renovated. We had an apartment for the four of us and it was perfect! very spacious and comfortable with plenty of space to put your stuff. The kitchen area was great and very useful with a big fridge. Aircon and wifi worked perfectly. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and the location although not central, it´s only 10-15 mins walk and about 5 mins walk to the beach and a supermarket right next door. We used the free bikes provided by the hotel almost everyday, it was a god send! The pool which is almost next door was also appreciated by the kids. Overall we loved staying at the hotel and had a great holiday, but there´s definitely room for improvement in the service department: 1- it would be nice if reception informed the guests (ideally in advanced) on the current local restrictions regarding beaches. We had to work it out by ourselves and spent far too much money and also early getting ups to secure a spot on the beach , which could´ve been avoided by getting the right info from hotel. 2- Self service at breakfast wasn´t allowed due to Covid restrictions and needed assistance at the Buffet. Sometimes there was a long wait as there was only one lady in charge of the whole breakfast area. She did her best and always in a friendly manner, but a second staff member would have eased the queue. 3- Breakfast selection was good, but for the ones with a long stay, it would ´ve been nice to have a bit of variation sometimes. I will still give this Hotel five stars, as we had an amazing time and absolutely loved staying here! Grado is a lovely place to go on holidays and we fully recommend this hotel!…
We spent here a week, and this was our second time here. The entire building was restructured and the rooms are very comfortable, newly refurbished, clean and very spacious. The staff was always very friendly with us. There was free wifi, we could rent bikes and had a nice welcome drink as well. The location is just perfect, a few meters from the beach, the supermarkets is on the corner and Grado's one of the best pizzeria is also on the corner: Delfino Blu. The only thing to improve: the kitchen boys and girls are feeding the seagulls through the windows and our window looked right to the kitchen. The seagulls were making so much noise from early morning to late evening, that it was difficult to accommodate with that noise, as we liked to sleep with open windows. But if you close your window, it is OK. All in all we could recommend this hotel to all families or travellers who like to be independent in a nice and cleaned area, but also have the opportunity to enjoy all services of a hotel. Thank you and we hope to come back again. Grazie mille!…
I can highly recommend this new and modern hotel. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, there was free parking outside and a supermarket a few metres away. We also loved a wide selection of cakes, pies and croissants for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay there.
for one night was also not easy, we book late and we have no time to search, it was cheap but room was dirty cold, staff was speaking german and english to charge more they do much, for me not more than hostel, parking and breakfast is not extra,
