Stayed here for two nights on our bicycle tour from Villach to Trieste organised by funactive. Fantastic family run hotel. Good brekfast and they do a deal for dinner if staying at the hotel. Dinner was very good. Family owned and all the staff were very friendly. Room very nice and comfortable. In a quiet location. Excellent and i strongly recommended.
Perfect stay in Grado. Extremely friendly and warm welcome, personal approach of the owners - Ferdinand and his wife - is something great from old school of hoteliers. Every minutes they are prepared to help and to support yours needs. Room was clean, spacious, sufficiently equipped, with a small balcony. Children corner with toys, table games, big screen is a great benefit. The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach, in the pedestrian area on a quiet place. I can only recommend.
This hotel is in a great location. It is family run and the service was great and personalized. The hotel is old and needs some renovation particularly the rooms. I did not like the old blankets on the bed. It would be better to have linen covered duvets like all the other hotels in the area (that we stayed at) We ate in their dining room and it was ok. The house wine was not good and highly over priced!
This is a family run hotel with a friendly ambience. Elegant Italian decor. Stayed in the newer part of Villa Rosa. Rooms are very clean. Good WiFi devices. Quality breakfast with helpful waiting staff. Definitely want to return.
Hostmanship is key! We came by bike to Grado from Böckstein and the welcoming to hotel Diana was so warm and genuine! Wonderful dinner with good food and drinks. In the morning when we came down for breakfast the owners stopped us “please go for a morning swim and enjoy the sea now when it is best, we lend you towels” the breakfast was lovely after the swim and the walk to the sea was only 2 min. We could store our bikes at a safe place. We long back to the family of Hotel Diana, and we give our warmest recommendation!
Hotel Diana is pretty much nin the very city center of Grado. Plenty of restaurants are just around the corner, or why not eat in the hotel? Kitchen in the hotel is good too. Breakfast has a plentyful buffet. Only thing I don´t like in all the Italian Hotels: the ocffee that you get from this automat. Exactly same machine is to be found in EVERY Italian hotel. My recommendation: for only €1,20 you get at the hotel bar (next to the restaurant, around the corner from the breakfast room) an excellent Espresso, as it shouls be served ....hey, only €1,20. Rooms are very clean and provide all the comfort you need, bathroom is in good condition (no mold, as it can easily be found in other hotels in the silocone around shower or bath tubs). Staff is very friendly and speaks excellent English, German and Italian of course too (maybe even other languages). I cold not immagina a better place to stay in Grado ! ! !…
The single room I rented was simple but reasonably priced for a high season period. The hotel owners, the Marchioro family, are always discreetely present and helpful in every way. Good and prompt service. The breakfast is plentiful and offers a lot of choices.
My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel as part of a biking trip across Northern Italy. It's a great well-maintained place that is centrally located in the resort town. You can walk everywhere. Rooms were solid and the wifi was a bit weak, especially in your room. The hosts were wonderful. There were 3 generations of this family-owned hotel on call. We had some great conversations and they seemed to speak a dozen languages between them. Good breakfast.
