I had single room number 101 oh what a disgrace!! The shower door, hairdryer, coat hangers, bed head, were all filthy full of dust, no skirting boards wallpaper peeling off, wall lamp almost falling off, 1980s thin outdated mattress, Childs single bed 2 and half foot wide not normal single bed, my back ached every night could not sleep well!! Although the hotel itself was okay and the staff were helpful and friendly but I’m afraid I will not stay there again unfortunately!!

Good clean hotel and comfortable rooms for the price. Staff very attentive and seem happy in their jobs which to me shows a happy workforce. The owner Gianluca was very accommodating, even dropping things he had to do, to take my son to the doctor as he was taken ill. On our outbound we had a flight cancellation and arrived 3 days later, this was not a problem when I called them they just held the rooms. Would I stay again ? Yes I would and I will do at some point in the future.

My daughter and i stayed in this hotel recently with the travel department Dublin .There was a fixed dinner ......no choice ......unfortunately an hour after eating i was extremally ill all night until 4 o clock next day .breakfast next day consisted of left over vegetables with some other bland food .....which was exactly the same for the week.We were supposed to be half board but i couldnt eat there after being so ill so had to eat out every evening. The hotel is supposed to be 3 stars but it certainly is not .It is like something from the 1960s and certainly needs upgrading .No tea making or fridge facilities .The night man in the hotel was very nice as were the staff.I Told the owner about being sick after eating there and contacted travel dept to be sent to their other hotel but there was no room left .The owner didnt even ask how i was .Would not recommend this hotel .The tv sits on the dressing table blocking the mirror and no english channel .No proper drawers .

Dear Bea, let's start from the beginning. You wanted to book a 4 star hotel but could not find space at time of booking ( or not to want to pay the price...) and book a 3 stars. Then as arrived in Fiuggi you immediatley try to create a problem in order to get a 4 stars hotel but you were not succesfull. I have enough experience to be able to understand passangers and immediatly after the fisrt night I understood that your only goal was to get the 4 stars hotel and not to enjoy your vacation as the rest of the group did. You tried again with the tour guide but with no succes again. With reference your sarcastic comment on my hotel being something of the '60 let me inform you that we are older than that; we start in 1933 and let me advice you also that last renovation was in 2012. Let's also advice all readers thta in 1 week you never answer to my " goodmorning" that I gave you every morning. Let's finish it here and avoid to write all comments other clients said about you. Best regards Gianfranco

This was my 3rd time staying in Iris Crillon. Always king and helpful staff, Gianfranco can yolve all your problems. Breakfast is so much that you can work through the whole day. Rooms are different, but all the same vintage style. This isn't a problem, looks so good.

Ok, we are kind of snobby that prefer to stay at 5* hotels, but there is the thing, we have a dog, a big 52 kilo dog... When I requested several properties in Fiuggi, no one more as accepting this size of dog and nice girl from one of the hotels I requested suggested that we tried Iris. To cut the story short, we did not bring the dog with us. However, this is one of the best stay we had in Fiuggi (and we’ve been here before). Rooms are great, warm and comfortable, beds are fine, shower is fantastic. And if you talk about owner, it goes beyond your expectations. Kind, always available, accommodating! You should definitely try an aperitivo here, excellent! One of our best stays! Thank you!

I have spent 4 nights here with a group of 45 leger holiday guests, the rooms are basic and provides what you need however the breakfast service is class/guest divided, the upper floor to the breakfast room has an array of nice cheeses and meats and fruit and the lower tier has basic food, when one of our group went to the second tier they was quickly shooed away and then the hotel manager basically stood guard between the tiers.. absolutely disgusting

Advert for the ledger Rome Pompeii, Capri coach trip ,leads you to believe you will be staying in a hotel with air con ,pool ,tea/coffee maker in the room ,not so ,most people on our coach trip have complained ,one lady was so over come with the heat in her room she asked for a fan ,guess what !! they had to go buy one the next day ,our room was clean, our bathroom shower was bad ,the shower head was changed on the last day ,the non coach tour guests were treated better and their food was served on an upper level to ours ,we all felt like second class ,and like we were in a hostel.our soup bowels were being whisked away from under our noses before we were finished ,it was like it was a rush to get shot of us from the diner for their better guests ,the up side was great coach drivers great fellow holiday makers ,amazing trips in an amazing country ,not sorry I went ,but will rethink travel mode and hotel for our next adventure ,

Dear June S, the title of your review is the answer I can give you; I do not have any idea how was advirtised the trip. I have no idea why you are talking about air conditioning, pool, tea/coffe maker; we do not have them and I do not know why your travel agent has given you such an information. You can go back to the person that sold you the trip to ask where he/she found information about my hotel that says pool, air conditioner etc etc. With reganding the fan that someone asked me personally ( my name is Gianfranco de Carolis) it has been given the morning after since it has been asked at night. And we do not have to buy; we have a stock of 10 available for all clients that ask them when needed. With regarding the other clients in the hotel they were seated in a different section since they had a different menu, different timing and the upper section ( only 2 steps....:-) ) was choosen because smaller and could then accomodate them that were only 7 people while your group was much higher; in any case if it was so important for you to be in the other section you could have asked. Why you did not if it was such an impoprtant thing for you??? I also like to remark thatyour dinner course was a 7 course meal( antipasto, soup, pasta, meat, vegetable or potatoes, salad, cake) while the " non coach tour guest" had a 4 meal course; and as you could notice you started the dinner before and finish well after the other clients; I really can not understand what you are trying to say when you write..t was like it was a rush to get shot of us from the diner for their better guests. You started before and finish everytime at least 30 or 45 minutes after!!! It is also very important to underline the it was you choice to eat in my hotel; it was not included in the package and you could decide to go and eat outside. Why did you decide to eat in my hotel; probably because with 15 euro you had an axcellent 7 course dinner??? While in some outside restaurant with 15 euro you probably have just a pasta and a salad??? Last detail: you stayed 6 night and if the bathroom shower was so bad, you waited to come back home to complain? Usually clients that have some problem come to front desk and we solve the problem. We look at review like this with a lot of attention beacuse the "week after complain" are always very strange..... Thanks again for being in Fiuggi Best regards Gianfranco De Carolis Owner

I was totally disappointed with this hotel from the cleanliness of the rooms to the attitude of the staff. I would rather an hotel was awarded stars on the comforts offered to it's clients rather than the size of the lobby etc. The breakfast was terrible for our holiday group, the hotel staff wanted everyone in bed before midnight even though they were very quiet and it was too uncomfortable to sit in the bedrooms as they did not have aircon. It was pot luck that your bill was correct as no receipt was items were given.NEVER AGAIN!!

Good price. Great location. Nice staff. Clean. Very basic though - scratchy blankets and very small shower But hey you get what you pay for and it's worth what we paid for the night when we hadn't booked ahead

The hotel is in the town centre and also quiet like the whole town. Receptionists are very kind and helpful. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and fast served. Prices are normal compared to italian level.
