Spent here 3 night in total, and had a great time. The staff was super nice and helpful, the rooms are quite big (not very modern but well kept), the breakfast was amazing with lots of different food. Location is also wonderful and is a few minutes drive from Cortina and Cinco Torre. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that was kind of annoying is the wifi reception on the rooms.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The exterior and grounds need some work, but no issues inside. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and service at the front desk friendly and helpful. A short drive to the much busier Cortina d’Ampezzo city center

I booked 2 rooms 3 months in advance, with a flexible rate. The hotel tried to charge the rooms 2 weeks before our arrival, as per their terms, but in the meantime my credit card had expired (they knew about the expiry date when I booked). Instead of emailing me asking for my new credit card details, they cancelled my booking 2 weeks before the trip without notice (although I had the plane tickets booked). I had to re-book the rooms on their website, at a higher rate. They refused to refund the difference (an additional €280!) when I asked, which is really dishonest and shocking. Overall the service was terrible.

The hotel’s location is far away from everything! Literally everything: slopes, Cortina, other valleys, etc!!!! And it is located in a curve after quite a steep rise with the car and not without danger from traffic. It had none of the services it had advertised, some we understood due to Covid restrictions (sauna) but the fact is there is nothing else at the hotel, and at 18:00 h there is not even any hotel personnel around to assist with anything or even an emergency if there was one, until the next morning. We asked for a late check-out which they had offered to us via email and they rudely denied it, and also we asked to have breakfast at 9:30 and we were told that they would close the dining room at that hour. In conclusion, there are many hotels in the area you can choose from, and likely cheaper, which are a better option.…

We stayed once in this hotel few years ago, the price, quality and location were perfect for us, so we decided to come again in March, 2020 and booked a room via booking in advance. But the events with COVID started happening too fast, so we decided not to risk a long journey by car along Europe and asked the manager of the hotel to pay a fine or keep the money and let us come later when the opportunity to travel comes up. Booking didn’t do anything because the reservation was non-refundable so we were advised to deal with the hotel ourselves. Unfortunately, the only reply I received from the hotel, either by phone or by email, was that in Cortina it was safe and a complete refusal to find any possible compromise. We all know how the events developed first in Italy and later around the world. The hotel was sold out on our dates on booking.com, so they sold our room twice. What can I add, we were five times in Cortina and loved this place, admired the hospitality and warm welcome, well, not this time. The majority of people lost a lot during the last year, some have lost much more than money-their dignity…

We booked 4 room in the hotel to come from 1st-5th of March 2020. On the 23 of February the World Health Organisation recommended not to travel to the region where the hotel is located (Veneto). We contact them to move the trip to one year later or get a refund and they told that they have fares that allow to get a refunds or changes in dates but this was not the case of our fare. We try to justify that COVID-19 (coronavirus) was a force majeure and they reply that until the Italian government didn't close the hotel or all the ski resorts of the Dolomites they will not do any refund and they insisted that there was not risk for us to come. Italian government closed the hotel and ski resorts on the 8th of March due to the high number of infected people during ski trips to the slopes the week that we plan to come. Airline and rental car company refund the full amount of the trip even if the fare was not refundable nor changeable based on the recommendation of the world health organisation…

We chose this hotel to stay close to Dolomite mountains. We went in the low season so we didn't expect the hotel to be buzzing with staff. The staff that were there were helpful with things to see and gave us a map of the area. We had a beautiful view from a somewhat spartan room. We bought some food from the supermarket and hoped to be able to heat it up however apparently there was no Microwave at the hotel to do that??? This was a bit of a downer on a cold rainy day.

This is not a review of the property but the proprietor. Our rental car broke down not far from this hotel. It was towed away and we were left on the side of the road with all our luggage and the rental car company told us we had to make our own way back to Venice to pick up a replacement car! The owner of this hotel was so helpful, we sat in the warm and he organised an airport transfer for us to pick us up at this hotel and take us to Venice airport. He made sure they took credit cards and that we got a proper receipt for any claims we might be able to make. Without his help and local knowledge we would have been completely stuffed. He saved the day for us. So this is a big thank you to him.....

We stayed two nights--one full day in between. I was in Italy visiting friends and trekking in Tuscany before heading to Friuli to visit family. I had been to Cortina before, but my spouse hadn't. I planned a quick detour here when the weather forecast indicated a day of sun. This property is just outside of the main town on the Falzarego pass so its easy to find--it sits alone with great views of the mountains. We traveled early November so it was not crowded. Staff was helpful, food was awesome as we took advantage of the bar and in-house restaurant. Room was clean, warm and quiet with LOTS of storage space. We had a corner room and both balconies had wonderful mountain views. The owner suggested a hike to nearby Rifugio Lagazuoi. Not only did we get good exercise but great views as well. We also had to trek through a bit of snow but that is another story.…

Broken tiles on entrance. Wasps throughout property, including on the breakfast buffet. No water on one afternoon for shower. Room not cleaned well - human hair on bedside table. Breakfast mediocre. Staff, the few that there were, were not friendly. The hotel lacked any kind of welcoming atmosphere and was a disappointing experience. Not a place we would recommend staying.
