Perfect hotel for our stay in Cortina! The staff is very accommodating, parking is easy, Wi-Fi signal is strong, beds, bedding and pillows are very comfortable and the breakfast is personalized with great service and a wonderful selection of fruits and pastries, etc. coffee was strong and delicious, and the orange juice was fresh-squeezed. There is a view off of the balcony that can’t be beat! Location is fantastic, just outside of the ZTL, which means the center is vey close by, where you can walk around, shop and dine in a car-free corridor. Highly recommend Hotel Europa.

This is a very nice hotel conveniently located only a block or two from the small pedestrian town center and was a very pleasant surprise, given some of the reviews. We stayed in Room 214 which was nice and comfortable, with attractive alpine decor including a modernized bathroom (and excellent shower). Rooms at the back of the hotel, at least from the second floor and up, have a dramatic view of the mountains from the windows (and small deck). The hotel has retained much of its charming antique ski lodge atmosphere. We did see signs for the nightclub, but we never heard any noise (this was in mid June). The breakfast on offer was very varied, fresh and plentiful, and the gentleman who runs the dining room, Massimo, is very friendly and extremely helpful. There is no sauna or spa, and we didn't eat in the on-site restaurant, which we heard was very good but had limited vegetarian options for my wife. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were relieved we didn't have to put up with the nightclub noise others have complained about.

We stayed at Hotel Europa from Saturday to Saturday last week. Overall, we had a lovely week, the hotel was cosy, the breakfasts were excellent, the food in the hotel restaurant was tasty and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms could do with modernisation, but they were functional and clean. There is no gym/sauna which is a shame, but we were told there are plans to install them at the end of this season. During the week, we almost felt like we had the place to ourselves, there is a great seating area with an open fire where we were left to chat and play cards late into the evening. There is an honesty/free (?) bar here which is a nice touch as well. The breakfasts in the morning are delicious with a juicer, selection of pastries and plenty of cold hams and cheeses. Perfect for filling up before you hit the slopes. But, we had not realised that on Friday and Saturday evenings the hotel transforms into a very well-known nightclub. On the Saturday night of our stay, the hotel closed at about 9pm and the club began. During the night, in our room on the third floor, we could hear the music until early in the morning (3.30am) but it wasn't so loud that we couldn't sleep. We had friends on the second floor who weren't so lucky and were kept awake most of the night. On the Friday of our stay, we decided to eat dinner in the VIP club to see what it was like. I would not recommend doing this. The food is not as good as the main hotel restaurant and was vastly overpriced. We were sat in a section of the club which was devoid of atmosphere (along with other hotel guests we noticed) while the 'locals' were all given prime tables in the cosy, main section of the club. This was a shame, it felt that the hotel guests were forgotten about despite the fact that they are inconvenienced by the fact that the hotel pretty much closes down to accommodate the nightclub. Overall I would recommend the Hotel Europa but I would strongly suggest getting a room on the top floors, away from the nightclub to ensure that you won't be disturbed during the night.

Friendly, helpful, professional staff welcome you to this hotel and do all they can to make your stay comfortable. We loved our room, which faced towards the west onto the dramatic mountains of the Tofane. Our room, a smaller suite, was very spacious, good value, comfortable, with a nice little balcony. The breakfast was tasty and varied. The hotel has got a very nice ski-chalet vibe going with its decor and facilities. It is a short walk about 100 meters, to the pedestrianized center of town.

On one of the main roads in Cortina, Nice old fashioned hotel, room was good and plenty big enough. Ate in restaurant one night and it was excellent. Breakfast good, parking available. Seems to cater for parties at weekends so one night was very noisy with young people being noisy into the early hours.

We spent 9 nights here on a hiking vacation. Rooms comfortable and clean but the room was very hot everyday, since no air con had to open doors at all time but lots of road noise in front of hotel. Lots of cozy seating areas off lobby for groups to meet. A 10 minute walk to downtown shopping/restaurant area. Cold breakfast buffet was good but very crowded on weekends and had to wait for a seat. Our friends were in a room in the back of the hotel and it was much quieter. Good built in closet space, an extra couch/bed in room, hairdryer and safe. No self service laundry as advertised on hotels.com, internet poor in rooms. We’d recommend this hotel if you can have a room in the back of the hotel and don’t need to depend on internet otherwise a hotel off this main road would be much quieter and pleasant

Absolutely wonderful little gem. It is a bit like Hotels used to be many years ago. It has a lot of charm. The attention to detail has stunned me. I had a room with ..04 at the end. These are rooms a bit bigger than the standard rooms. Very good layout, charming furniture, walk.-in-closet, balcony, very well lit, extra sofa, very good mattress. The lobby is cosy, old-school with open fire-place, nice sofas, nice hotel-bar. Traveling in time. They even still of pigeon-holes with heavy brass-keys. I loved all of it. Breakfast was very Italian with wonderful "Südtiroler Wurst und Schinken" They even had propper teapots. (I am a tea-nerd) A lot of these lovely details you don't find in modern, fancy hotels anymore. I would most definitively stay here again. No complaints. A four-star hotel that entirely fulfilled my expectations. - Oh, one more little detail: There was this beautiful antique chest of drawers in the hallway in front of my room, an on top of it, on display, a coffee-table book about the last Perini-Navi-Cup in Porto Cervo. I know, totally for insiders. That was my good-night story and that was probably the reason I slept so well.

Just a few minutes walk into Cortina, this hotel is excellently located. Free car parking at the hotel is a bonus too. The hotel has a lot of old and original features which gives it a lot of charm and I kept wondering what this property must have seen over the centuries. The rooms could probably do with some modernization, particularly the bathroom as its shower functions had us really confused (basically we thought there was no hot water and had a cold shower first morning and when I mentioned this in my broken Italian to reception it turns out the hot and cold water taps worked the other way round) Breakfast in the basement was plentiful but it seemed bits of breakfast items were all over the place, ie not very logically presented. There is filter coffee on a heated plate which was undrinkable so we followed the Italian guests' example and ordered proper strong Italian coffee from the waitress. We only stayed for two nights but the hotel is certainly a good base for exploring the area and Cortina itself is a nice town with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Spent a week at the Europa with my wife and 3 teenage daughters. I was clean and efficient, with a friendly staff and great food. We had to get 2 rooms, one with a king and a single and the other with a king. The bathrooms were big and roomy and the view was increadible. We were facing the Champione cable lift. It was directly across the street. You literally went out the front of Europa and walked down to the street and crossed and there was the cable lift (gondola). Cannot beat the convenience...
