Well placed hotel, friendly staff but very noisy as our room was placed on street side. Definitely ask for one on the back side of the hotel. The room was small, the shower tiny and needs definitely a modern renovation as everything all looks like nothing has changed since the 80’s. But very thankful there was a parking

Well located 4 * hotel in town center with good views of the mountains. Rooms are the size of a large studio apartment as property is also a timeshare. There was a sitting area and a separate table for 4 and also a kitchen sink (no cooking facilities). The bathrooms are also large. It is an old property but in good condition and in the alps we prefer the old world charm with lot of wood. Housekeeping was very good as was the reception staff. The bar on the ground floor was popular for an after dinner coffee or drink. Breakfast was not upto the mark. There was only one kind of a cheese slice and scrambled eggs were dry and luke warm at best. Again only a low fat milk that too served out of the tetra packs. Other than that plastic cups in the rooms rather than glasses and only a shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms. These are minor improvements which would make the property top notch as overall we really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here for three nights whilst skiing the Cortina area. The hotel is in a good location - a short walk from the town centre. There is also a bus stop directly outside which takes you to the main ski lifts. The decor of the hotel is extremely dated, and it needs an overhaul. My room was fairly basic, albeit a good size and very clean. Breakfast was good quality - with cold meats, cereals and fresh cakes, and the staff (both at breakfast and more generally) very attentive. I would thoroughly recommend skiing in Cortina; the slopes are excellent (long runs and good for all abilities - though beginners will tend to be based in one area) and not too crowded. There are good restaurants on the pistes, and prices aren’t too steep (much more reasonable than many other resorts). The town is lovely - and well worth visiting in winter or summer.

We spent two nights at Cristallino d’Ampezzo Hotel. The staff is really kind and welcoming, don’t hesitate to ask them for any information! Our room was very spacious, but the furniture a bit old. We really appreciate the variety offered for breakfast and waiters’ cordiality. The position is also perfect to reach the center by foot. The only thing quite uncomfortable is the absence of a passage to reach the ski depot from the hotel, because you have to pass through the garage. However, you can ask in reception for a porter if you need your gear upstairs.

We couldn't ask for a better attention, everyone at the hotel is very friendly and willing to help you with the biggest smile in the face. The rooms are very big, the bed is super comfy and the breakfast is perfect. Grazzie mile to Giusseppe.

I stayed there on my Cycling trip in the Dolomite's, Very comfortable and clean rooms for a reasonable price with full breakfast, then again I was there in June 2017 I dont think June is their high season yet. The view just outside the hotel are breathtaking and just a short walk from the town center with plenty of great restaurants. Can not wait to go back and spend more time and Cycling in the area.

I stayed at Cristallino for the ski holidays with my 2 children. At first glance a nice hotel but in reality it is pretty dated. Clean rooms, but concrete beds. We had a family room with 2 beds below and 2 beds above the bathroom, without ventilation. We did not get much sleep. Luckily our neighbours were not loud because it's very noisy. No bath in the rooms, only a shower. Warm water not guaranteed at peak times. Breakfast very basic. Sorry I can't be more positive, it does not match the basics I expect from a hotel.

Cortina is a gem . Amazing landscape, amzing mountains, great food....and this hotel terrific! MY room was so beautiful with the furnitures typical of the mountains, clean and with a breath-taking view. Breakfast was excellent and even more...everything was home made and delicious. Great service and great staff...warm hearted and willing to help, always with a smile . The only problem....my stay ...too short ...and I will come back for sure for a longer stay....thank you all!!!

It is all wood and quite old but so wintery and just perfect for cortina! The rooms are huge to my surprised with a cupboard kitchen and 2 closet beds, big dining table and view balcony! The linen is a bit old as are the towels, no toiletries or slippers. The sauna doesnt work. Parking is great and free :) Located right at the beginning of centre so 5 min walk to the main square There is a ski bus right outside of the hotel also free The receptionist is really nice and very positive! Recommended a really nice restaurant for valentines! Breakfast is poor but only in terms of warm food, the cold buffet was fine! Scrambled eggs being kept warm with a tiny candle! Hot wine though was really nice but costs €5, not 4* prices at all Dont accept amex The room is very very warm which was great especially after ski! Nice stay overall!

There are lots of hotels in Cortina, but this is the best one I've stayed in. As a base for a biking trip to explore the Dolomites, it's ideal. The underground parking area is large and secure, the ramp down easily manageable (even if it's wet outside). It is a little Seventies in feel, but not in a bad way - it's cosy, comfortable, clean and just a little kitsch. The staff are friendly and helpful (all speak English, for those of us with limited Italian). As it's just outside the town centre, it's quiet, but if you want to go in to town, it's a pleasant five-minute stroll. It is worth considering going into town in the evening as (a) Cortina is lovely and (b) the hotel restaurant is reasonably expensive, though the food is excellent. Overall, though, it's an excellent hotel and will be where I stay next time I'm in Cortina.
