We booked this place initially for my birthday in April but COVID changed everything and finally we managed to go here few months later after our wedding & honeymoon got postponed too.

All I can say, this place is AMAZING!
We were lucky to get upgraded to one of the suite villa and it’s was such a delight.
Spotless & immaculately clean. Spacious with modern design and most importantly, the service is top notch!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we are at our own home, they know our names and always greet us with big smile (despite the mask!).

We also tried the spa. I had body scrub and massage and it was probably the best massage I’ve had so far. My fiancé had also a massage which he confirmed was really good.

Mix feelings about the food.
Breakfast was excellent, we opted in suite dining and served in our terrace.
Room service and lunch from their reception area restaurant is just ok.

The main restaurant is waaay better.
It’s semi fine dining but then again I feel that the food option is rather limited maybe the post COVID situation restricted the choice of cuisine ?

La Terrasse by the wine shop is cute and lavishly green, offered quick lunch menu (the onion tart was a delish).

Pool area is not so big but enough to offer privacy to each guest.
Btw, the whole estate is an art gallery!! There are several art installations from different artists that can be found within the vineyard, it makes a wonderful promenade.

Wines are good too, we bought quite a few.

Would come back surely.

I had been looking forward to our stay at Villa La Coste. I suspected it may be one of the highlight hotels of our summer but it surpassed my expectations on so many levels. Our welcome was warm, friendly and professional, staff here go out of their way to make your stay extra special, nothing is too much trouble. Our room, a two bed suite had everything we could wish for from shoe polish, to a Dyson hair dryer to a complimentary fully stocked mini bar complete with snacks. It was one of those perfect rooms which had been well thought through, where all the sockets, shelves and mirrors were in just the right place - heaven. The sort of room that so many other hotels could learn a lot from. And I have not even mentioned the decor, sleek, stylish, modern and dotted with pieces of artwork. Both bathrooms were slick and luxurious with huge deep soaking baths. If I were to look for fault it would be that there were a curtain instead of a door on the bathroom but with a full solid door to the toilet, I let that slide. My children particularly loved the chocolate nuts that appeared in our room daily as if by magic.

The best thing about this place is that you simply do not need to leave. The food offerings are incredible. Breakfast was the divine, . Our meal at Helen Darozze was the best we had all summer and the children really enjoyed the pizzeria down at the chateau. The standard of treatments in the spa is exceptional. The therapists are so knowledgable, best of all, they have appointments available for when you want.

The hotel and grounds are just one huge art exhibition encompassing architecture, art, photography and sculpture. This enthralled both my ten year old daughter who aspires to be an artist and my son who loves architecture. You can do a tour of all the artwork in the grounds either under your own steam or with a guide, it takes a couple of hours either way. As hotel guests, we were also given a private tour of the cellar.

We stayed for two nights but that just wasn't long enough to be able to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. We had already decided before we left that we want to return next year, which I think speaks volumes about how outstanding a property this actually is.

I spent two days at Villa La Coste and I have no words to describe my experience, which really went beyond expectations. The hotel is immersed in a beautiful domain which includes a famous vineyard with its “Chateau” and amazing art installations that you can admire walking around the luxurious landscapes. The architecture of the hotel is perfectly immersed in nature, fully respecting the peaceful green surroundings, a joy for those who appreciate environmental protection. The interior design of our Villa was exquisite and welcoming; mild tones, spacious living spaces and provençal touches make you feel in the Villa of your dreams. I was blown away by the beauty and thoughtfulness of amenities and little touches that surprised us in a subtle and stylish way. Villa La Coste offers multiple dining choices, either in the central hotel site, or a bit down the valley...We tried the Terrasse, next to the wine shop (a stop not to be missed), where we had the best tarte aux oignons ever, and the main Restaurant in the evening, where we enjoyed an interesting gastronomic journey, rich in local flavors and attentive to seasonal ingredients.
If you have time to relax, I would recommend sun bathing by the swimming pool and, most of all, the Spa….honestly, one of the best massages I ever had…at some point I thought being in Indonesia, where the art of massage takes you to a unique body and soul wellness journey.
My visit to Villa La Coste came after the several months of Covid and I could have not asked for a better way to recharge and reconnect….it is not just a luxury hotel’s stay, it is an experience of its own that reconnects to beauty and nature, while taking attention to details, service and sense of hospitality to another level....

Excellent. Great service. Art and architecture amazing. Argentinian restaurant worth a visit. Main restaurant very good. Sommelier excellent.

Only criticism would be the pool is small for the number of rooms. Spaces for 11 couple with 28 rooms does not work in high season (August).

Our stay at Villa La Coste was beyond amazing. The staff, drivers, the villa suite, the food and the spa were all exceptional. The beauty of the artwork displayed within the breathtaking property is truly unique and special. Overall Villa La Coste is an oasis, the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and experience and appreciate the raw beauty of nature. This is a property that can be enjoyed year-round and a wonderful base to explore Provence.

The attention to detail from the pastries and wine that welcome you in your suite, the personalized stationery with your name, the Dyson hair dryer in your room (ladies this is amazing), to the lovely herbal tea left at night with a special treat, you feel welcomed and special.

Definitely make time to experience the Art & Architecture Tour at the Chateau and enjoy a wine tasting experience!

A delightful 5 days! The staff, both in advance and on site, could not have been more welcoming and supportive, flexible to meet all requests. We had a room overlooking the vineyard, If available I would recommend a villa suite. We had a private art tour (thanks Julian), was so nice to have an additional few days on our own to see all the other art that we could not get to during tour, especially on off hours when the property was not as crowded. The hotel set us up with Eric who gave us a fabulous day tour of the Luberon. We also enjoyed a food tour in Marseille with Culinary Backstreets. Good food at all restaurants and breakfasts, and delightful 5 course lunch at Helene Darroze. The complimentary daily laundry was a lovely benefit and helped us plan our packing.

For our 45th wedding anniversary, my husband surprised me with a stay at Villa La Coste. After reading reviews from travel publications, Villa La Coste was highly rated and was considered “The best” hotel in France.

In our travels we have stayed at fantastic properties, and sampled many 5-Star experiences and were looking forward to see how La Coste would stack up. From the moment we arrived, the service levels were outstanding! Every staff member took the time and effort to accommodate any wish we had. The front desk staff even arranged for a PCR Covid test during our stay.

Villa La Coste is the ultimate getaway, as the grounds are stunning with artwork everywhere, and the accommodations were first class! The room was stunning, with a balcony that overlooking the vineyards, and the amenities were outstanding. The bathroom was spacious with a shower and bathtub.

The gourmet restaurant was the best meal we had during our two week trip in Provence. We also had great massage’s in their spa. This is life’s “best escape.”

We also visited their wine shop, and sampled their various wines they produce. We were so impressed, we shipped wine back to the United States.

We can stop looking for our ultimate getaway: We found it at Villa La Coste! Everyone should experience Villa La Coste, it’s one of life’s great treasures.

We had an incredible one week family vacation at Villa La Coste in June. It’s a beautiful resort located in a spectacular spot. The service is superb. I loved the free laundry, the Dyson hair dryer, and the delicious breakfast (the herbs Omelet and green juice were fantastic). I loved walking from the resort to the Italian restaurant, vanina, down the hill. It has amazing pizza and pasta. The one actively I’d recommend the most - the guided art tour on a boogy. That was just incredible and one of the best art tours I ever had. If you love art - it’s a must!

I think villa La costs is one of the best resorts in France. Not just because of the beautiful facility (rooms, restaurants, pool, soundings) but also because of the implacable service. The people who work at the resort provide top level service.

Only two things to skip: The Michelin stared restaurant Darroze, at the hotel wasn’t so good.
Also, the taxi driver that we got from the hotel wasn’t the best driver. He was on his phone most of the ride. Be aware.

Can’t wait to come back to villa la coate! It’s a special place!

All the glowing reviews do not lie. This place is magical. We felt so taken care of.

Special thanks to the kitchen for catering to our whim of a simple tuna sandwich on a baguette for dinner one evening. It was the most lovingly prepared sandwich we’ve ever eaten.

We organized a quick 2-night getaway with friends to Chateau La Coste. Everything was as reported ie beautifully arranged, great views, etc... but what was truly remarkable was the quality of the service and respectful friendliness from the staff. It was our first visit and they made us feel as we belonged to “the club”. A memorable stay.
