Checked in at the Grand Hayatt Muscat on 30/07/22. Registration was easy and nice then went to our room. we found Cake with fruits was very wonderful my kids they liked then we went for lunch Food was very good and nice And the manager of the restaurant is the best treatment that accompanied us in Buffy and explained to us about the dishes and the food was wonderful I would like a thanks to Mokha Cafe team and special thanks to Abdul muneam & wassem &Muhannah they are Provide the best service ever .

The grandeur of this property was evident from the moment I stepped into the lobby and saw the impressively decorated and widely spread layout of their lobby. The staff is so friendly and the feel of this hotel allows guests to slow down and enjoy what it has to offer properly. I got to try their Big Summertime Friday Brunch and the incredible variety and number of different items served just blew me away! Super delicious food, well prepared, properly seasoned, beautifully presented and something to cater to everyone’s tastebuds. I loved the fact that they had kept just so many items that you could keep going back and finding new things to try. The chicken chilli, coconut fish curry, chicken tikka, beef ribeye, beef stroganoff and seafood gratin were some of my favourites and honestly it was the first time I enjoyed brunch in a buffet setting in Muscat as I usually don’t see the quality of the food maintained throughout the buffet service whenever I dine out but the team at Mocha Cafe really did an above and beyond job! I stayed in the Grand Suite and it stayed true to its name and was incredibly spacious with great views overlooking the property and even a small balcony connected to the master bedroom! The food at their Italian restaurant, Tuscany, was just phenomenal and the risotto, roasted chicken and desserts were just as good as the Italian food I’ve enjoyed in Rome. The property is sprawling and located ideally in a part of Muscat that is incredibly well suited to offer a lot to tourists visiting the capital city and looking for ample activities and places to see nearby as well. Just as mentioned in the title. very worn down and tired look. Feels like has been there type of properties and has had its glorious days. The carpers were so worn out and dull looking. Surely seen better days. Even the pool area where the water falls from the top is all cracked up and extremely worn out feels like it may fall any moment. Grand Hyatt needs to do an extreme makeover and soon.

Staff, service and food was very good. Hotel main lobby and restaurant areas look really good in late evening and night when everything is fully lit. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay, would recommend it and will hopefully be back again soon.

For our first ever trip to Muscat, Oman, we reserved a Grand Executive Suite at the Grand Hyatt Muscat. From my research, I thought we'd like this hotel because the hotel is on the beach, convenient, and central within the Muscat area. We arrived in Muscat not really knowing what to expect. But in large part, because of the service, staff, and our experience at the Grand Hyatt Muscat, our visit to Muscat exceeded all of our expectations. As soon as we arrived at the Grand Hyatt Muscat, we felt a warm welcome. We were especially appreciative of the upgrade to a Two Bedroom - Crown Suite. From our Crown Suite, we had an amazing view of the ocean, the mountains, and downtown Muscat. And, if you're an airplane buff, you can even watch planes land and takeoff from Muscat International Airport. All of the hotel staff were pleasant, patient, and helpful. Our meals ordered through room service were delicious. As mentioned in the hotel description, the Grand Hyatt Muscat is right in the middle of the Diplomatic District. We had fun driving around and spotting the various embassies that surround the hotel. Should I have an opportunity to visit Muscat, Oman again, I'll certainly plan to stay at the Grand Hyatt Muscat. This hotel is very close to everything. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward my next trip to Oman. I like the landscaping, the pool, garden and beach. I also enjoyed the breakfast and the people who work there are very friendly.

Stayed here for 4 nights during two stays. Hotel is majestic, but would also need for renovation, as wire and tear can already be seen and felt. Both time we were upgraded into Grand Suite, which was really large, but also lacked some idea what to do with all this space. Bed was really comfy, though. Breakfast quite average, but Grand Club delivered during the night some old grandeur.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Post covid has left old gem a bit tired, a little upgrade in its internal organ could help. Air con to shower for example. Could not purchase a cigar, and even the night club felt strange. Hotel is close to the beach, but the post disappointing part was swimming pool closed by 7pm. Other than that convenient location for business trips.
