The place is amazing ,in the middle of the Amazon in Peru
I was picked up at Iquitos and two hours journey to reach the Amazon for another one hour before we reached the lodge
The car was good and AC ,boat was comfortable and fast
My guide was picked up from Nauta city on the way where he explained that he will look after me all the time in my stay
He spoke good English .I arrived to avoid lunch and my luggage were already in the lodge
I had tree house 8 Casa Alta which was beyond description (lovely ,clean, working shower and toilets .Towels are good and soap and shampoo were in abundance)
The food is to die for (the portions were enough for me but I could see other people wanting more portions !!!)
They provided me with Yoga mat and left me to decide all my excursions
There are out let’s yo charge your phones in the tree house
I enjoyed the tree moving slightly at night which gave a smooth and gentle rocking
Now let me advice you
1:Bring a strong mosquito repellent (I brought jungle 50) which was excellent and not one mosquito bite
2: Bring change to top staff
3: they wax the whole wood bridges to prevent tar mites attach so bring non slippery shoes
4:there are no books to read so bring your own and internet is extremely patchy
I would say enjoy the isolation without internet
If there is any criticism to the lodge managements (they need to be more active in cleaning all the sockets regularly to prevent them not working)
I know the fans are in the middle of Amazon but a good clean is also needed
The net in my room needed amendments
The entry to the the lodge houses must be cleaned from plastic bottles to make it appealing
They are all very small details but it did not spoil my stay at all
I enjoyed my experience and it did match all my expectations

My wife always wanted to have a tree house experience and what better place to be in the jungle than the Amazon! I started my search and came across this property and it was one of the best decisions I have ever taken.
The best thing about this place was the package. It was full board and on top of it you get assigned a guide (and a second person for the boat) who take you through different experiences in the area (there is even a booklet to select from). Our guide came to pick us from the airport and along the way we experienced local food etc.
On reaching the lodge we were pleasantly surprised. It was a 5-star gem in the amazon! Everything was neat and clean and very well organised. We are vegetarians and were a bit concerned what we could get here. The chef however surprised us every day. They used amazon fruit/vegetables/roots etc. and created some really delicious meal each time! We were just spoiled. After every excursion we would come by and get fresh fruit drinks too.
Our tree house was perfectly setup. A bedroom/living area and a small toilet/bathroom area. They were cleaned everyday and well kept! There was a mosquito nets which was nice. We were provided walkie-talkie just in case we had to contact the front desk... it was nice and fun!
One of the nice things during our stay was that the owner was also visiting the lodge. We had some great talks with him and also found out how he made his dream happen!!
I will highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great experience in the amazon!
P.S. This trip was back in Feb 2020, just before Pandemic hit the travel, so this review is a bit late :(

There were eight of us in our group and all eight had a fabulous time. We would all recommend staying at the tree House lodge on a tributary of the Amazon river. We left Iquitos, Peru For the hour and a half trip to the Tree House Lodge. Our trip was for three days and two nights in the most fabulous treehouse that you could ever imagine. The tree houses are open to the jungle and at night the cackling birds and the cackling monkeys were exciting to listen to.
In our three days we packed in fishing for piranha, swimming in the Amazon, nature hikes both day and night, and kayaking.
The food was excellent, hot showers were great and the humidity was stifling! Because we were there in September part of the dry season the river was low. We still got to do everything and we didn’t have to worry about Highwater.
We were prepared for mosquitoes and no one had a bite. We quit wearing our mosquito protection because it was not an issue.
All in all it was a fabulous trip and I would highly recommend it. The age range for our group was from middle 20s to early 70s and there were no issues

We stayed at the treehouse lodge for 5 nights during a 3 month trip around Peru and Bolivia. This was one of the more expensive hotels that we stayed at and one of the most disappointing. The treehouse was different than described (was described as the deepest into the woods and secluded yet when we arrived there was another treehouse attached just beside ours which was deeper in and removed the secluded part. We let the manager know and he was very kind and apologised and offered us a free drink and said he would ask the US team to refund us the first night. It was much appreciated.
However, things only got worse after this. The treehouse also had a very large hole in the net around the house and some in mosquito net. We brought this to his attention at the same time as asking about the room description. He said it would be fixed right away. It wasnt and that night we got so many bites.
We said it again and the next day the mosquito net was replaced but the hole in the house net was never fixed. That did not bother us too much, as we are big outdoorsy people and wouldn't be too afraid of the large wasps that came in or if a tarantula did happen to come in (none did). But considering the price I would expect things like this to be fixed.
The problems got worse again, the electrical socket in the room caught fire. This is obviously worrying since you are staying in a building in a tree made of wood. When we told management about this they again apologised and were told not to worry about it and they would fix the plug. The repair man said that it looked like water damage. We ended up moving to a different small treehouse for one night before moving back.
The management told us to check our emails as we should expect an email from the US team with some offer. An email never arrived.
On our last day my girlfriend slipped down the stairs from the treehouse and really hurt herself I ran for the radio to call for help but no one responded. When I ran to the restaurant area for help no one really seemed to care and offered no assistance or had anyone to look at her we were just left lying near the resturant by ourselves for hours.
We have since emailed the reservations team multiple times and received either no response or else they wanted proof that we were told that there would be some kind of refund. We never got any refund from them.
On a more positive note the boat driver that we had was amazing. He went above and beyond. Our tour guide was good, but again not what would be expected from this company, however, if I remember correctly he did say that he does not always work for this particular lodge.

We were met at the airport and taken by van and boat to this amazing location. We were impressed with the treehouses, it is a spectacular feat of engineering, that these rooms are built high up in the tree, as well as the swing bridges that connect them. We were a bit disappointed with the first treehouse we had as it was too close to the restaurant and main hub, we wanted to feel like we were in the middle of the jungle. To see and hear the birds and monkeys. The manager arranged for us to be moved to a more remote treehouse. This was just amazing, it overlooked the river and we had a balcony that we could sit on and view the river and jungle around us. The restaurant served great food - not big servings but we prefer a smaller gourmet meal than to have a huge helping that makes you feel weighted down. The waiting staff were extremely helpful and polite.
What made this fairytale a reality for us, was the exceptional guide and driver that we had. The guide spoke excellent English and had an encyclopedic knowledge of the area. The driver took us down secret creeks off the main river, that fed into a bountiful lake teeming with wildlife. We were here when the water was at mid level, so we could go on the boat through water pathways, that meandered around trees. They went beyond the call of duty to take us to places to see more wildlife, to make our trip a dream come true.

This was intended to be one of our highlights at the end of our recent Peru trip, but didn't quite end up the way we'd hoped. After the 1.5 hr and 1 hr drive and boat ride to the property, we were exhausted and many of us starting feeling ill soon after arrival. We planned our 3 day stay of excursions, but only ended up doing 1 of them since we were not up to it. The heat and humidity, without respite, didn't help.
The staff were EXTREMELY accommodating, both at the lodge and our guide. They did everything they could to help us feel more comfortable and arranged for us to get back to Iquitos a day earlier than planned to rest in a less "rugged" environment.
Unfortunately, we missed out on seeing much of the depth of the Amazon or the excursions they offered, but I can't say enough about how much Martin, Jesus, and Vily did their very best to see that we were taken care of. They took us back early, helped with hotel reservations in Iquitos and were extremely flexible.
We were very appreciative of their attention and assistance. I'm sure, under different circumstances, our stay at the Treehouse Lodge would have been much different, but the team did a great job supporting us with what we needed.
One thing we did experience a little of was the food and it was quite delicious! Well done to the kitchen staff for preparing such beautiful meals in the depths of the rainforest!
The treehouses were nice, but quite rugged. Though screened we spent a good portion of our evening transporting bugs from inside the room. The showers are cold-water only (to be expected for the location), but something to keep in mind. They did feel nice though as a refresh from the heat.
Overall, the experience was as good as could be expected, given the circumstances. Thank you all for helping to take care of our family!

We stretched our budget and booked the lodge because we wanted a quiet, secluded experience. The lodge had a film crew on site that would film continuously despite us asking them repeatedly to stop after they filmed me vomiting and also sleeping. We couldn’t go anywhere without being on camera, thereby turning a secluded experience into an invasive one. They even filmed toilets waiting to capture footage of a guest walking out! It was creepy and disturbing. The lodge claimed they were an amateur crew filming for YouTube and that they did not know they would be on site however this seemed very unlikely because the cameras had media company labels, the staff seemed to openly encourage the filming despite guest complaints and after the film crew departed we noticed the quality of the food declined. Our last meal had what appeared to be a slice of microwave pizza on the plate. We felt really misled and disappointed.
The only reason we are giving two stars is because our guide was fantastic and staff did assist when I was unwell for the first part of the stay.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We didn’t originally intend to visit the Amazon, but weather forced us to make alternative plans and the Treehouse Lodge was recommended by someone else in a travel group I’m in and I’m SO glad. From start to finish everything was excellent - the package we booked was truly inclusive: you get authentic accommodations in an actual treehouse accessible by a cable bridge, delicious 5 star meals including 3-course dinners, roundtrip transportation from the airport to the lodge deep in the Amazon by van and then boat, a personal guide for the duration of your stay, unlimited excursions personalized to your interests, and the most unique and memorable experiences!! There was also always cold fresh water and electricity available, which we heard from others wasn’t available at their property. This part of our trip was unexpected, yet worth every penny!! Shout out to Jorge (aka George of the Jungle) for being the best guide!

The lodge was very different than expected, but in a good way. It was far more remote and rustic than anticipated, but allowed for us to see more wildlife. It is HOT and the hikes drained us of more energy and fluids than we expected. Definitely recommend you take powdered Gatorade or other electrolytes as they are not available there. Food was excellent, and far fancier than expected. What a great chef! Our guides were very helpful in planning our excursions and getting us to activities. I suggest you follow their recommendations, even if its not at the top of your list. Some of the excursions were surprisingly great although we had not planned on prioritizing them. Bug spray is a must, as is light long sleeve clothing. Came home covered in bug bites (from overnight bites). As such, make sure to put spray on yourself before going to bed (mosquito nets didn't cut it for whatever got us.) Electricity was intermittent, which is understandable given the location, however ceiling fans were really needed...when when power was off, it got stifling. This will definitely be a place you will be talking about for a long time after your trip! Would recommend at LEAST 3 days, but no longer than a week. Thank you to our hosts for a great time.

My time at the Treehouse Lodge (4D/3N) opened my eyes to the wonders of ecotourism and will change my traveling for the rest of my life. The facilities are truly in a primary growth Amazon Rainforest location and there are always new animals to see or hear even just walking around the hotel. The excursions were absolutely amazing. Our guide Orlando and Gustavo were so attentive to what excursions we were interested in and used their expertise and experience about the animals, weather, and area to bring us to the best locations and the best times of the day to see wildlife. Although our guide pretty much dictated the schedule, we had experiences seeing giant river otters, many different monkeys and birds, an ant eater, paying dolphins and more. Their knowledge really defined our experience there and I feel we really got the most out of our few days.

I didn't see any games and it is a set menu--everyone has the same thing. I would suggest contacting them and letting them know you need a special menu. some evenings you go out looking for nocturnal animals and/or to see the sunset.
Yes--completely but the bugs still got in. we were careful about lights at night but weren't bitten.
