This is a good place to stay if you want to play golf early the following day. The rooms are spacious and amenities are great. The pool is likewise nice. However, food options are limited. Last order for dinner is 7PM, which is served by the golf clubhouse restaurant. There is no room service. Nearest restaurant is at least 30 mins away. Wifi and phone LTE (Globe) signal is weak inside the rooms so if you need to work while checked in, it will be a challenge. Hotel is good for recreation but not so for business related (e.g. planning, meetings, etc)

Spent the night here with colleagues for a strategic meeting. The road trip itself was nice, in my opinion, as you get to pass through the relatively quiet Bulacan countryside. The hotel has several activities available for you and your kids such as swimming, a raging, river, swimming pool basketball, and of course golf. The rooms are very nice. Just make sure to bring extra stuff you might need, as there are no stores outside of the hotel, as it is in a relatively isolated area. Oh btw, the place looks like it is great for biking too, with its very low volume of car traffic.

El Masfino Hotel and Resorts has swimming pools with raging river and that exciting basketball-in-a-pool; volleyball court, souvenir shop, business center where you can use PCs; KTV Area; team building area complete with children's playground, obstacle course and more. You can also avail of their biking and dune buggy activities. El Masfino Hotel & Resort is the perfect choice for family who wants to relax and leave the hustle and bustle of the metropolis even just for a day. The whole area is expansive and has amenities for kids and adults and you'll never get bored with all the activities that they offer. I specially liked their pool which is clean and well-maintained there were hardly any dried leaves or insects floating around considering the pools are surrounded by trees. If you just want to lay on the bed all day long that wouldn't be a problem too because the bed are spotless and neat, their air-conditioning feels like new and their cable TV is always on standby. Sleep quality at this hotel was superb I was able to sleep right away. I wasn't able to test their WiFi but the staff said their WiFi signal is stronger on the lobby area, after some people in our group complained about it.

Hotel El Masfino offers exclusivity among all the hotel we stayed around Bulacan. With only 20 rooms you would feel like you own the place. Upon arriving, their staff greeted us with big smiles and helpful act to carry our stuff. The receptionist is very helpful during our stay, we even asked for a fresh towel at 1am and they happily delivered it to our room. There are tons of activities that you can do in the area like swimming, beach volleyball, do the obstacle course, have a picnic with your family, biking, atv and many more. It's also a heaven sent for golf lovers since it's just a minute away from an 18 hole golf course which is so beautiful especially during sunset. The room is very clean and tidy, and it comes with the needed toiletries. Food at the country club is also amazing. They have an ongoing promo for July and the day tour right now is only 300 pesos if you don't want to stay overnight. This is also a perfect Hotel for a team building. The only cons i can say is the wifi or internet connection in the area especially if you work at home but if not and needed a time off from social media i think this place is one of the best.

Second time at its best & may come back for more. I've been at this hotel 2013, having our annual company outing, & again for this year. Choice of the place was mainly because of the golf course, to our executives delight of course. It's their hobby. So golf enthusiasts, this is your place to be! There is an 18-hole golf course and par practice area. For non-golf players, there is a wide variety of outdoor activities for every age. Water lovers may enjoy free use of the lap pool and can also play some pool basketball. There is also the raging river with free use of inflatables. Sporty types, there is a jogging path, biking and ATV trails (rent charges applies on the vehicles), volleyball court, frisbee area. For the young at heart, there is the playground area with trampoline. For the adventurous type, there is a mini obstacle course composed of tire race, balancing beam, log jump, and a steel hanging bridge. Just be careful on the obstacle race for the ground is covered with gravel and mud. There is a wide space for other team building activities you may have in mind. There is also a space rented out for some KTV for the diva within. The 20-room hotel, has spacious rooms, which can accommodate up to 4 pax, and a veranda. The suite rooms have a receiving area, kitchenette and veranda. Clean, comfortable and totally relaxing. The food is served at the country club which is distant from the hotel area. It can be served at the hotel lounge though it may take time for food is being transported, so it is better to have it scheduled earlier for it to be set-up for guests.

We were attending a conference in the Gawad Kalinga Enchanted farm in Pandi-Angat, Bulacan, with well over 8,000 delegates. My companions and I needed a place to stay for the night, but most of the decent ones were fully booked, and there weren't a lot of choices to start with. Luckily, a friend of ours booked us a spare room where they were staying in the next town, the last available slot for that evening. It was dark by the time we made our way there, the roads were bumpy from potholes and uneven paving, but as soon as we caught sight of the well-lit structures from afar, it was like a heavenly oasis. Check in was a breeze, and the staff were all warm and hospitable. We were asked to pre-order the breakfast we wanted for the next day, and the time we wanted it served. There was a choice of toast, rice, a variety of local meats like longanisa, tocino, and bacon, and beverages like fruit juice, coffee, and hot chocolate. When we were ushered to our room, we passed the swimming pool which was sparkling in the night lights. The grounds were impressive, with evenly cut grass and well-lit pathways. Our room was a suite that had a receiving area with a comfortable sofa, a dining table for 6, and a TV. It also had a small kitchenette, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, and a small convection type stove top. The bedroom had a queen-sized bed with sides tables on both sides, an alarm clock, and a desk. We had two bathrooms, both of which had toilets and showers, and were spacious and ergonomic (had towel racks and hooks, good drainage, ample counter top.) Everything was very well-maintained, evident in the cleanliness of the bathroom floors and room corners, to the spotless chair cushions and bed spreads. The beds felt lush and really invited sleep. The A/Cs were always set to just the right temperature, needing no adjustments. The next day, my breakfast of bacon, eggs, and hot chocolate arrived right on time, after they had called to confirm just a few minutes prior to our schedule. (They even accommodated my special request to grant me a cup of coffee in exchange for the rice in my meal at no extra cost, though they forgot if I hadn't asked.) Both bacon and garlic longganisa were good, and the serving portions are average. We took a quick dip in the pool, and though it wasn't tiled or as polished to be considered a luxury pool, the water was absolutely gorgeous and clear, and felt soft on my skin (no chemical smell, "taste," and feel.) Despite the many trees surrounding the pool, there were hardly any dried leaves or insects floating around (we saw the pool boy cleaning the other parts of the pool earlier.) All in all, we had a wonderful overnight stay. On the trip back to the farm where our conference was being held, we saw the roads in the daylight, and even fell in love with the beauty of the fields all around. I highly recommend this place, and I really must commend the service because every request we made (for an iron, glasses of water, ice buckets, my extra coffee) was granted within 5 minutes, needing only one quick call. Thank you, El Masfino! I will be back!

We have been a continuous patronage of Royal Northwoods Golf and Country Club and was also intrigued in Hotel Masfino as it was located in the same property. It is a small and cozy mediterranean inspired 20 room hotel with a lap pool and a raging river pool as its main ammenities. Booked our family for a 3 day 2night stay where we booked 3 suite rooms. Booking was such a stressful experience as I had to reason out with their booking staff about checking in earlier than the usual time as we were going to play golf and would want to check in the kids earlier. To my surprise the reply of the booking staff was that we could check in early if the rooms were available but had to check out early also since we checked in early. I was reasoning out to the staff that was the STUPIDEST thing I have ever heard and this was the 1st time in my 43 years of existence to hear such reply from a hotel staff. If we early checked in at 10am (normal check in time was 2pm) we had to check out at 8am (normal check out time was 12pm) since we checked in 4 hrs. earlier than normal check in time. The hotel staff was also adamant about charging extra people for their pool use as she said that only 2 persons per room had complimentary use of the pool despite the maximum allowed occupants for a suite room was 4 adults and 2 kids. I was trying to be diplomatic about the whole thing and explaining to the hotel staff that it would sound better to me by telling me that if we checked in early (depending on room availability) that we had to pay a small extra fee rather than telling me that we had to check out earlier for checking in earlier... WAS SUPER STRESSED with this booking issue that I had no choice but to get in touch with the owners of the hotel for a much needed and appreciated help. As things got cleared out and the booking was finalized....here we got to Hotel Masfino. The hotel rooms were very clean and very well maintained despite it being operational for more than 3 years already. The bathroom tile grouts were all speckless clean. The kids really enjoyed the swimming activities especially the raging river. The adults had their acitivities of their own such as beach volleyball, dune buggy adventure, bike trails and spa. Food was a problem as it has to be delivered from the country club. No kitchen in the hotel so food delivery took some time and food was not hot already when it reached the hotel. Suggestion is to have your meals in the country club for faster service and warmer food. At night just watch out for all the grasshoppers, crickets, giant frogs, lizards, bugs etc. roaming the area as this property used to be a ricefield.... We felt one with nature... Aside from the hellish booking adventure, our overall stay was very good. We were satisfied with the facilities, satisfied with the ambiance, feeling of exclusivity and the feeling of relaxation of the place. Hotel staff was courteous, friendly, attentive and helpfull. We will definitely come back...hopefully next time they will not give us a hard time with our booking.
