Shan and the team were extremely professional . The booking process was easy and all our orders were processed and requested 24 hours before our arrival. Delicious food and friendly staff. We will return! Thank you for a great start to our holiday!

This little but beautiful pub in the tiny village of Marlborough (between Salcombe and Kingsbridge) in South Devon, serves fantastic food with fabulous customer service. If you’re in the area it’s absolutely a worthwhile trip out to eat. We were a large party of nine, having pre-booked the pub was easily able to accommodate us over two adjacent tables. The menu is full of up to date pub classics, fresh and modern without fuss or pretension. Our party had various dishes including the lamb kofta, veggie burger (highly recommended), fish and chips and the beef burger (proclaimed to be the best burger ever eaten!) among others. Everyone loved their food and ordered desserts to finish the meal. The lime and marscapone cheesecake was a particular highlight. It’s also worth mentioning that every table was reserved when we visited, and mainly by locals it seemed (always a very good sign!). The pub is also VERY dog friendly with all staff stopping to pet two gorgeous little dogs with a nearby table - doggie biscuits were also dished out! The staff were all fabulous and friendly- I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We stayed at The Old Inn for two nights back in July and enjoyed breakfast each morning and dinner each night. The couple that run the pub are really friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast was very good. We were particularly impressed with the dinner menu and quality of the food.
