We have just stayed here for a week and it was just fantastic. We was welcomed with tea and scones which is such a warm friendly thing to do. To we stayed in the Pavilion room which was comfortable with an amazing shower and cleaned to a high standard every day and with tea and biscuits. These guys pay such attention to every little detail and nothing at all is too much trouble for them. The food is amazing with such a varied breakfast menu. Then Tapas night is great, superb food and they work tirelessly all evening. The garden is lovely and we did chill in it a few late afternoons. Everything about Brightham House is fantastic from location to decor/ambiance and food and of course Lola and Poppy. Thank you Scott and Alistair for making our week special. We will definitely stay again.

We spent a wonderful week in Devon staying at BH. As others say it’s simply outstanding. It’s located in a cute chocolate box village so nice and quiet and restful. From the minute you arrive you are warmly welcomed by Alistair and Scott. The decor is modern vintage and very tasteful. Our bedroom was lovely with a great shower and nice scented toiletries. The decor throughout is lovely and everywhere is immaculate. The breakfasts are delicious with lots of choices and beautifully presented. The ambiance is great with music playing in the background. There’s a lovely Japanese style garden with lots of outside furniture to chill out. The most fantastic part of it all is the experience that both Alistair and Scott create- you will not meet nicer guys who do everything they can to support a wonderful stay. They chat to you each day, genuinely interested in your day and how they can help your plans with great knowledge of the area. They are both first class. Overall you feel like you are in a 5 star boutique hotel not a BB. We loved it all and will return. Thank you both for all that you do. If you’re thinking of staying here, do, you will have a great time! Angela and Richard

If you are thinking about booking here, don't hesitate. We stayed as a last minute booking having been let down elsewhere. Brightham House is like a mini boutique hotel - B&B doesn't do it justice. The attention to detail both decoratively, at breakfast and from both Scott and Alistair is completely outstanding. Talk about being pleasantly surprised, my son and I were quite blown away.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Alistair and Scot were very welcoming (as were Lola and Poppy!) Breakfasts have to be the best we have had anywhere and tapas night was great. Look forward to returning sometime in the not too distant future.
