Detailed Reviews
The amenities and place is one the best resorts I have visited. I really had a gasp of my own solo unwinding trip and definitely this resort made it more special for me. I would definitely recommend this place, and will want to visit again in the future.

We came accross this hotel by chance and what a lovely friendly welcome we got. All staff members were very friendly and helpfull. The owners came and greeted you and made you most welcome as did Bill's (the owner, another fellow Scot) 2 golden ladrador puppies.
The bedroom was nice, spacious and very clean, loved the lights at the bedside and the batroom was more than adequate.
Great stop over if in Massin especially if you have to go there to get your Immigration visa extension.
We shall be back !

The place’s structure and layout was okey. Except that when me and family got there, it turned out to be mosquito infested from all corners. The food availability was quite limited. Got to taste their free breakfast, which was bland with juices that are all from sachets. Bedrooms had the aura of spaces from a haunted house and bathrooms are not suitable for elderly people. No basic toiletries were provided. We had to go to town to get ourselves toothbrush and toothpaste. Amenities? None except the pool that is too cold and dirty to be inviting. Not worth their published prices. We barely stayed 24 hours there. Just stayed there to get by the night. If planning to go to Maasin, pls check other places / somewhere else ahead of time to avoid the experience we had.

looks like an abandoned hotel.. very dim. there are really not enough lights.. the damage of the recent typhoon (odette) is still very evident. no elevators. no gym. no security guards.. this hotel looks & feels drab and depressing.. the only amenity is the pool that doesn't look good as well.. save yourself & stay somewhere else.

Totally disappointed, over priced , this place is worse than a low budget Motel 6 at the Marriott prices. We reserved the Honeymoon suite. But got put into a less nicer room because the air conditioning was broken in the room we reserved. The bar was closed because it was out of stock. They said it was a display only. The hot tub was closed. Food was OK at best. The elevator was out of order and my wife is four months pregnant, she had to climb stairs to the third floor multiple times. The only good compliment I can give is the staff is very friendly. This was my first and last time to stay here.

We had a great stay at Jaimee's. The staff we're excellent. So accommodating and helpful. Good location and whilst no shuttle to Maasin as mentioned in another review it is super easy to get a tricycle out the front of the hotel. The van can be hired for the day or journeys if pre-booked.
The pools are lovely and great to cool off. Beach directly behind the hotel, it is a shame there is no entrance from the hotel grounds, so you have to walk round. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful.
The hotel could be improved with a bit more maintenance. Showers aren't always hot, the room wasn't always cleaned and toilet paper & toiletries weren't always replenished.
Breakfast was good and lots of choice, but you do need to order the night before. It wasn't always served on time, but it didn't matter. The one day we had to leave early they made the effort to serve quickly and on time.
Dinner was excellent also and good value. We ate there almost every night.
We'll be back to stay at Jaimee's. I hope as tourism grows in southern Leyte the hotel will start to make enough to be able to do more maintenance & improvements.

My new wife and myself thought we would get away to a different area for our honeymoon. We definitely fulfilled the part about getting away from it all since this place is *very* secluded. The security guard makes sure of this fact too! When you actually get down to the beach, your hotel is the "have" side and right next door is the "have not" side, where dirt-poor people live. Everyone has a great beach to live on and use for sure. An actual Filipino beach with no rocks like this is hard to find! We got a room with a terrace. It added a lot due to the view, but the curtain always getting stuck under the glass door was a bit of a pain. The quality of the rooms is very good (probably near the top)--it even has hot water! They have flat screen televisions with cable, but I wouldn't go to Jaimee's for that. The main reason to visit is that you are entering a facility where you can very much escape the real world and get away from it all. I highly suggest visiting Monday-Thursday so that you don't have to deal with weekend families or parties/special events. We visited Thursday and Friday. Thursday was so far superior that we would never go again on any day other than the Monday-Thursday timeframe for sure. The cook is very good. Many items on the menu are out-of-stock so be prepared for less than half of the things to be available. Their main calling-card is the natural beauty of the location and the fabulous hotel appearance. There still is ongoing construction to an addition on the East Side--so the day hours can be tricky to maneuver around the workers and deal with a little extra noise. I think the lady who manages the place is married to the owner, but I am not sure. They said construction began in 2001-so it shouldn't take too much longer. Once everything gets finished, the rates will probably go even higher and you will have to deal with more other people. Therefore, if you really want to get away from everything, this is a good choice if you afford it!

Stayed there for 15 days and the service is consistently good. This is a family-owned resort and the owners would personally greet and welcome you to the place. Always asking for any more service they can provide. There's no service charge also if you prefer to have your food delivered to your room. Rooms are spacious and with nice beddings, fluffy pillows.
Swimming pools are cleaned daily. The grounds are also well kept.
Would be best if the wifi internet is accessible in the rooms. And free shuttle service upon arrival and departure would be nice to be added in the accommodation also.
Definitely will be back here.

I stayed in Jaimee's Hotel recently while on business in Leyte. It was my first time there and was a great visit. The staff made me welcome and my car pickup in Tacloban was on time and in a very comfortable Toyota Inova which looked almost new.
The food was first class and the rooms cleaner than any other I has stayed in of this class.
Thanks nto the Hotel management for keeping their standards high and looking forward to going back next month.
