An overnight stop on way home from our trip to Quezon Province.
Nice Hotel and good location..
The Hotel has basement parking a very good asset.
Room was ok but although on 5th floor it was noisy due to passing traffic below.
Aircon was also very noisy.
The restaurant serves mainly Chinese Cuisine so we had dinner elsewhere.
Breakfast was buffet style and very limited choice (8.30 am) when we were there.
The Staff we encountered were efficient and friendly.
Overall our visit was ok and the +'s more than offset the - 's

Booked hotel for 6 nights. On the second day, the toilet was clogged and I asked front desk to send someone to fix it. We didn’t plan to sleep there that night and we came back the following day with water outside the bathroom and toilet still not fixed. I had to demand to be transferred to another room which they did after I made a big deal about it. Hotel refused to make any other accommodation for their inefficiency.

My experience in Queen Margarette Hotel in Downtown Lucena was superb. As it was my first time alone in Lucena, I had no idea where to stay. It's already late at night and the other hotels seemed to look like motels. Good thing my boyfriend suggested this place.

Since the hotel is located in downtown, the streets were busy. The outside of the hotel looked safe with the security guard. I did not bring a car so I have no idea on the parking lot, though I know it is located at the basement.

I think the actual hotel consumes 2 floors only. The reception is located on the 4th floor. Good thing there's an elevator. Upon entering, I was readily assisted by the receptionist. Since I will be staying alone for 1 night only, I booked for the cheapest available room, Deluxe Room, which costs Php2,500 per night.

The room looked nice, clean and quiet. Since it is a room for 2, there are 2 single beds, neatly arranged. The walls looked normal. The flat screen TV has a cable connection. The airconditioner is remote-controlled. The comfort room is large, with hot and cold shower and a large cabinet. The WiFi connection is slow. There was no kitchen-- no refrigerator, water heater, and the like. There's a 2-seater table. I don't think there is a swimming pool. The receptionists don't greet the guests, though.

The stay in the hotel comes with free breakfast for two. Breakfast is served at the Kimsuy Restaurant located on the 2nd floor. The meals were in "silog" formats, served with drinks and fruits. The meal size is a bit large. It was not that delicious, but fine. Since I booked a room for 2, I got 2 free breakfast meals.

My stay would have been worth it if I checked in a bit earlier. I can't say it is the best hotel in Lucena, but I do recommend this hotel to future travelers.

I chose this hotel since it's the newest in Lucena unfortunately there's not much to choose from. Since my in laws are visiting our town I decided to have them stay here. First the hotel itself is ont he top floor. When we checked in the hallways were hot the ac was off or something. Front desk person is not so friendly very short and look annoyed maybe because it's was hot.
Time to pick the room....what a disaster. ALL OF THE ROOM had bad angle. it's noisy from the street and the room that is quiet there was no window. the back rooms had bad view of the wall next door. So again no other choice but the front rooms..a bit bigger but like i said NOISY!!
No parking ...so when you are unloading you kind of have to rush to get out of your vehicle. Just inconvenient all around. Restaurant is overated and overprice.
I might just have to go back to Diamond Resort

This hotel is set in the centre Of Lucena City on a busy street. Although an older hotel and a littler tired it provided good clean accommodation and nice helpful staff who arranged for us to watch the recent RWC and ensure we had adequate drinks to watch it after bar hours. My room although above the busy main road was quite quiet and sizeable.

I am an avid traveler and I been to different hotels in in my life, but so far this is the worst.
My booking is for 3 people and it is clearly stated in the confirmation 3 adults with breakfast,
First they wanted to charge me for the 3rd person and after a 30 minutes discussion they acknowledged that my reservation for 3 people means 2 beds.
The fact is they had no free rooms with 2 beds.
So they gave me an upgrade to a junior suite.
Now they refused to give breakfast voucher for 3 they told I have to pay for the 3rd one.
I told them now way the guy said he will speak to his supervisor and he will call me.
After 7 hours and around 10 Pm someone calls me and tell me that I have to pay for the 3rd person extra bed charge and his breakfast or they will send the security to kick me out of the room.
Extremely very very rude behavior Espically I had my one month old son with me.
I went to the receptionist and I kept shouting until they put me over the phone with the Manger.
The Manger acknowledged the problem but still failed to get us an apology for the very rude treatment.

We were travelling to the Lucena Provinces and we found Queen Margrette Hotel. No 5 star hotels here. So we had to find what was considered the better ones available.

We originally chose the one outside of town, but the check in desk staff was not very friendly so decided to choose the one downtown of which the staff were super great!

A decent hotel with some food offering i.e. a Chinese Resturant. It's fairly basic like a Travelodge in the UK. Decor is also decent and not as old as the one outside of town.

Rooms were okay. Basic but our AC was quite noisy and bathroom had some sewer smells coming through. One of our other rooms had no windows......

It's right smack back down in the middle of town!

There is a Mall called SM Mall nearby.

Overall for somewhere to call 'base' it was acceptable.

Booking a family stayover online was easy but once we arrived we find that the room they advertise is not suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids as it has only 1 bed. Negotiated an upgrade at extra expense which was not pleasant. The upgrade was supposed to include breakfast but they excluded the kids, had to pay extra again! The room was in poor condition and when we asked for extra towels (the room only had 2) we were informed that this was also extra. No fridge, tea/coffee making in room and the elevator regularly failed. This was a complete failure of a stay and when discussed with the staff they had no interest in making our stay any better. Awful place!!

The Queen Margarette Hotel in Downtown Lucena is the best hotel I have stayed in in Lucena City. This is definitely much better compared to the other Queen Margarette Hotel located in Diversion Road.

Its modern rooms come with with bed sheets so white and crisp. The wall treatment in black and gray/silver looked elegant, and the lighting just right. The bathroom has hot/cold shower and was installed with a hair dryer. For the two times I have stayed here, the room given to me was in the 5th floor so you can't hear the vehicles from outside. The room also has strong WiFi so you access the net easily. There is also a flat screen TV with cable connection.

The room (P2,900/night) is good for two and comes with free breakfast. Depending on the the number of guests, breakfast may be ala carte or buffet. Breakfast is served in the Kimsuy Restaurant on the second floor. I would have to say, though, that the Kimsuy restaurant in Downtown was not as as good as the one in Diversion. Yes, the interior may look better but the quality of food just wasn't at par.

Reception is located on the fourth floor while parking is at the basement. Parking is spacious and has direct access to the elevator. There is also a guard available for 24 hours to watch over the vehicles.

It's always a pleasant experience staying in this hotel. It may be more expensive compared to the one in diversion but it's worth the hotel experience.

We stayed here for three nights whilst visiting family in the area. The hotel was very basic and old fashioned. Unfortunately the room we had didnt have a window and therefore was rather dull. The aircon unit seemed quite old fashioned and rather noisy. Although on a positive note the Wifi was very good! There were some good views from 360 floor across Lucena!

The breakfast on the first morning was freshly made and was delicious, however on the next two mornings was a buffet style breakfast. Whilst there was a good food selection some of the food had clearly been there for a while and turned cold (even though they had heaters underneath) my advice would be to get to the breakfast as early as possible!

The staff were friendly throughout our stay, there seemed to be some renovation work taking place on the lower floor levels so hopefully there will be some more updated rooms available in the future. That said, in other travelers pictures on this site the rooms looked of a better quality so it may just have been poor luck.
