This hotel is actually located on the outskirts of Lucena City, Quezon Province. It is mainly used for weddings and large events. The owners could care less about visitors staying in the rooms. The money is in the big events. As a result, the rooms are expensive, the staff poorly trained, the food not very good, the pool dirty, and no other amenities. It is a 15 minute drive into Lucena CIty itself. There are better alternatives in Lucena City than this place.

This hotel is old. You can see it in any parts of the hotel. The VIP room has a king's bed that is old and it feels and smell like it hasn't been clean for ages. The chairs were dusty! Will never go back to this hotel again as it feels like you are visiting a haunted house.

The reception looks good on entry but the rooms are something else.
Plaster coming off the walls
Blood stain on bathroom floor
Part off door frame missing from bathroom door
Bad odour from bed
Air con very noisy
In general room looked dated and very poorly maintained.
Breakfast.
Food stone cold staff didn't even try to keep it warm. It was unedible.
Wall paper black with mold under air-conditioning and peeling off the wall.
Staff
There are a lot of staff doing very little.
The only one we found helpful was the guard who assisted with our luggage and parking.

there was nice reviews for this hotel in other booking sites . I wasnt expecting much because after all this is not from a well known province with popular tourist spots. Just stayed here for a family event . We were given a room on the old building and gosh its a good thing I brought my own pillow case and blankets. Bath tub was leaking and towels are old and has holes . The bed was hard but I think I was able to sleep a little because I was too exhausted to complain and demand a transfer. The security was very lax everybody can just come and go. At least breakfast is decent . My parents from the next room says their bed smells like the bedsheet was not changed. Better stay in a new hotel along the same road for less hassle .

The W O R S T E V E R. This hotel was filthy. The entire place is in disrepair. The walls were filthy, the floors Washington, there was no shower curtain, the water took 15 minutes to get hot and we could not survive more than one night. We were happy to run away from this hotel and find a real hotel up the road. When we asked for our money back they offered us an upgrade. Upgrade from horrible is still horrible… Keep the money, no thanks.
Do you have other options in the areas such as hotel Rosita which is clean and roughly the same amount of money. You don’t have to stay in this type of Turkish prison surrounding.
The front staff was rude and arrogant and dismissive. I am happy never ever to go back to this hotel. I would suggest to anyone that wants to have a good night rest not to go to this disgusting, horrible place.

i booked a VIP room for an overnight bonding with my girlfriends, but this leads to a big disappointment! the a/c is not working properly, the room is smelly (seems like they never used / clean for a long time, smells like insecticide, honestly!). the toilet is also quite dirty. and the worst part is, the ff morning we decided to use their pool but one of the staff told us that we cannot use at the moment as there's an ongoing pictorial session. wow, how was that??? we just decided to check out and go, as early as 8 in the morning.

I go to this hotel with my officemates always on business. At least in the three times I have come to Lucena City it was always just a place to sleep. This fourth and recent one however my office needed a big function room good for at least 85 people.

By reputation I believe Queen Margarette would still be one of the best in Lucena otherwise my office would not bring its business there. There is in fact a downtown outlet of the hotel which we had tried once in my four times to Lucena. Though that outlet was newer, neater, and closer to alternative sources of food it gave off a claustrophobic vibe so the leadership decided to go back to the older outlet.

The rooms we got are pricey which was around P2000+ I have only recently learned. It’s clean but you that old feeling diminishes the value of the room, new beds notwithstanding. The beds I noticed had been changed during the four times going there.

The room also comes with breakfast and that’s always good. The nearest place to eat beyond breakfast is some ways off so either have a car or plan your trips wisely. Or, stay in that downtown outlet where you can walk to the nearest fast food.

I like that the function rooms are in the fourth floor and Crown Hall B which was the one we got was sufficient for the purpose. The elevator could be a problem especially if your visitors come all at once. I am almost six feet in height and I am not sure of three more people my size can fit comfortably in that elevator.

The service for the function room was ok especially for our request for carts getting our stuff from one floor to another; and we had also requested an additional blower because it was a hot summer day and one spot of the room felt in needed more air-conditioning. LEDs have the name of our event in the lobby and the room, I thought that was cute.

Then we come to the hiccup in the entire affair which was the payment. I was there only as an assistant for the seminar, I did not close the deal on the venue.

The hotel wanted cash, my office can only do check after it had received the entire bill. There was a misunderstanding in a way that hotel representative might have even had the impression we would be there with a blank check or something of the sort which my office cannot do because we had to account for incidental expenses like additional participants.

I was at this time not adding to what I presume is a tense discussion and stayed with our stuff in the van. Unfortunately the idea that payment was to follow was a gentleman’s agreement we made to someone who either has no authority or has not understood.

Even when it was established that the Office had not brought cash I still ended up waiting in the van for two hours which means the discussion went in circles for two hours. Bear in mind collectively me and my officemates can pay the bill but that would mean digging into our personal sources. The hotel if it had any social acumen should have read that as a personal slight if it ever came to that.

I work for a national government office and the Hotel should have realized the money is good only this time payment required some difference in procedure. Queen Margarette should have read our history of availing their services very carefully and realize that not only is the money good, we also have a network of prospective clients. Corporate clients should be treated differently than a tourist passing by. At the end of the day my boss signed a promissory note aka IOUs which I am very sure had already been suggested to begin with.

So there you have it. The hotel is average, a decent place to sleep, but as a venue for your events I think you should pay attention to your negotiations very carefully.

Been here several times to attend parties, seminars, to dine and lastly to stay in their hotel rooms.
This used to be nice for its the largest in the province but has not been maintained well.
The furnitures and interiors dont match and looks like cheap immitations of Victorian architecture.
Gets too crowded when there are functions at the poolside or at the area near the front desk.
Just too noisy for hotel guests.
Buffet breakfast is horrible, very limited choices and they dont replenish much.
I wont recommend this hotel.

my friends and i stayed at this hotel to witness the famous lucban festival(every may 15), a good 30-45 minutes trip from this hotel. we booked a double room 2 months ahead( group of four) and after confirmation and payment through my credit card, we made the trip on may 14. the location of the hotel was along the national highway but the front desk clerk gave us very vague directions so we got lost( we had a long trip from baguio) , even people from around the area were not familiar with it when we asked. we finally found the hotel at around 8 pm and after a 20 minute wait, we were shown our room on the first floor. first impression??? the room was dark, had a moldy smell, the furniture were dusty and to our horror..mosquito infested. we called the front desk and asked for a different room but were told,no other rooms were available because they were fully-booked that night (because of the festival). we didn't want to spoil our trip so we stayed. bedtime..we paid for a double superior room but the four of us shared two old creaky beds .our room was at the ground floor, with a terrace overlooking the garden and a swimming pool, sounds cozy? no!!! we had a hard time sleeping because we could hear the noise of the people at the pool! they were horsing around, screaming, jumping around and they were drunk! we must have slept way past midnight mainly due to sheer exhaustion(from the long trip). we had to wake up at 6 am to have an early start and have breakfast and since a buffet breakfast for 4 was included in our package, we expected to have a full meal before we leave the hotel. no such thing! at the restaurant, we were told the buffet breakfast was only for 2 people! we didn't argue anymore but we got even, we scooped out all the food we could in paper napkins, filled our water bottles with orange juice and left the place!!! it's a good thing we enjoyed the lucban festival after that, but we swore never to go back to that hotel again, ever!
