Stayed for 2 nights at the end of our week in Scotland. Lovely accommodation. Beautiful room . We stayed in room6 . Ate in Orangery restaurant both nights. Really good food and nice wine choices. Great breakfasts .All the staff could not do enough for you. Especially Margo who was always cheery and nothing too much trouble . Would definitely stay again.
And thus we stay in a LOT of hotels and eat a lot in hotel restaurants. We have stayed here before (and it has always been great) but the restaurant in the Orangery takes this place up to the next level. This hotel is now as good as any that you will find anywhere. Everything here is of the highest quality: Welcome, public areas, rooms, beds, restaurant, food, service and drinks. And the breakfast- don’t forget the breakfast!! ( don’t miss the porridge with cream, brown sugar and a wee dram) This is an superb place - come here, relax, eat, drink and enjoy Victoria Square is, quite simply, excellent.
We stayed for one night at Victoria square on our way up to the highlands Beautifully presented Victorian building . Owner and staff very welcoming and friendly. This hotel is in a lovely peaceful part of Stirling situated in a square of amazing Victorian houses . After a long journey it was great to arrive at such a warm and welcoming hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfy . We had a great breakfast which set us up for the day ! Every member of staff we met were just fabulous . Thank you for making our first night in Scotland so lovely x
We have just returned from Victoria Square and we found all aspects of our stay to be of the highest standard. The staff were superb and the service they provided was excellent. Breakfast was freshly prepared each day and again of a very high quality, with no waiting time at all, as it was with the evening dinner we had with friends. We particularly enjoyed the time spent in the guest lounge, before and after dinner, catching up with our family news. The decor of the room was in keeping with the period of the house and the room was spotless, with the bathroom having very recently been refurbished. For a visit to Stirling the location is very good - a very short stroll to the Smith Gallery, Kings Park and for the golfers, Kings Park Golf Course. A slightly longer stroll takes you into the centre and the historic areas of the town, in the evening the Square is very quiet. All Covid protocols were very clearly in place and being followed precisely. We look forward to another stay in VS on our next trip to Stirling.…
