The London Heathrow Marriott Hotel garners accolades for its exceptional service, especially the staff in the executive lounge. Its prime location near the airport makes it a hit with transit passengers. While the atmosphere is generally seen as welcoming and the rooms modern and clean, some guests feel certain areas appear tired.
The Executive Lounge and cleanliness receive high marks, but opinions on room quality vary, with some concerns about outdated features. Additional fees for services such as early check-in and parking have led some to question the hotel's value.

Yes, the London Heathrow Marriott is that wonderful, you are almost sorry your flight is not cancelled. For starters, it’s only a swift 18 GBP ride from LHR’s T5. Once here, you’ll instantly feel the Marriott staffers’ ultra-high level of hospitality that you’ve come to expect from the brand. We have more than 1300 nights in Marriott hotels all over Europe and the US, so we know what it feels like to be treated like a valued guest. We have Asst. Front Office Manager Diogo for helping us to make this a very pleasant stay — and it began months and months before this, our final night of a 10-week European adventure when Diogo helped us select the most perfect room and iron out the details for coming and going. We were fortunate enough to enjoye the Diplomat Suite (aka Jr. Suite), which was listed at 538’ but felt like twice that: enormous living space with giant work desk, couch and huge flat-screen TV… separate guest bathroom at the entry with a toilet, large sink and plenty of counter space… bedroom with King bed, another large TV, dual end tables, a roomy walk-in closet… main bathroom with oversized bath tub, separate shower, toilet and lots of space, plenty of towels of course too. The suite has a kettle, Nespresso machine, mini-refrigerator and while there is no microwave, just steps down the hallway opposite Room 5079 there are 2 microwaves in a separate space available for guest use. The ground floor Fitness Room is fabulous, with free weights, benches, more machines than you can use, plenty of towels. It’s open 24/7, but if you want in before 6 a.m., you notify the Lobby Desk and they will open it for you, as well as await your call for them to come get you. After 6, there is an attendant on duty. There is also a very inviting indoor pool, lockers and showers. The ground-floor Executive Lounge is not to be missed, with 24/7 access for snacks and beverages, a full breakfast at 6 a.m. and early evening hors d’oeuvres/drinks. It’s rocking with guests having a grand ol’ time. An even fuller breakfast — think, well, um, how about everything you could possibly want! — is served in the ground-floor restaurant with lots of comfortable seating and staffers everywhere for whatever you might want. Yes, it’s the perfect place for getting ready for your flight at Heathrow — but en even better choice for an extended vacation time before that flight! Thank you again, Diogo!

Amazing Hotel. You can access through the Hotel Hoppa (just make sure to talk to driver and take correct one! They aren't officially listed). Room wasn't ready until 3 pm, so I had a wait. I got "executive room", so that includes, snacks, drinks (including beer and wine for limited evenign hours), including a mini dinner, breakfast, and access to the Executive lounge. This was great, as we couldn't use the USBs in the room, and needed to charge our electronics. In addition, there is a substantial weight/exercise room, that gets...significant use, along with a pool. We were invited to use the amenities prior to check in, but chose to walk around the area, do some tourist things. The chairs in the lobby are incredibly comfortable. The room itself, very quiet, beds super comfy and firm, desk very ergonomic. In addition, after coming in the hotel later that evening, we were offered free hot chocolate as a way to promote the Italian restaurant on site. There is additional "take and go food", pantry, plenty of options. I will DEFINATELY stay here again next time ahead of my next London Flight.

Barely spent 12 hrs here in an overnight transit between flights. Hotel itself is in great condition, rooms are comfy, quiet and show little wear/tear, and even the hotel restaurant (Carlucci's) was among the best hotel restaurants we've experienced, with solid food and truly friendly and knowledgeable staff.
We were upgraded to a corner king on arrival (status) and found the hard goods all looking new. Shower had great pressure, bed was comfy and plenty of USB ports for phones, though none were USB-C which is becomming the norm on devices with most hotels and airplanes needing to catch up.
Made a brief visit to the lounge for a pre-dinner beer but didn't have the oppty to engage the staff whom others have appreciated in their reviews.
Only downside has nothing to do with the hotel but with LHR's "climate friendly" practice that prohibits hotel from operating their own airport buses. The "Hotel Hoppa" didn't indicate that the Marriott on its route map, and while our black cab to the hotel was VERY REASONABLE, the cost of reserving an uber for our early morning flight was more expensive than renting a car.....not very "Climate Friendly". But that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Definitely recommend as an airport option.

The staff were very attentive and made sure our drinks were topped up and the tables were clear. The food selection was also great. Would’ve liked a nut-free dessert as we have an allergy but appreciated things being labeled. A special shoutout to Sofia and Manish for their service.

We have been staying here after our flights into London from the US for over 10 years. Great clean and quality hotel to crash in if you take an early flight from the east coast. Because you will arrive at the hotel at around 9 PM local time, a night here helps you adjust quickly. Also this a an excellent place to rest after a long overnight flight. We have always been given a room by 12 PM while we waited in the M lounge. Beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious by London standards. The TV is large. The bathroom clean. If you are on a budget for a week long stay and don’t mind taking the the Elizabeth Line to London daily, you could stay in a clean spacious room at 1/3 the cost of an equivalent Marriott in central London with an M lounge. The 25 minute Elizabeth Line fare is 11 pounds each way but if you use an oyster card, your daily fare is capped 14 pounds. You can get to the Elizabeth Line by a red London bus a few minutes walk from the hotel. All easy to navigate from your google maps. Pretty cheap considering it is London. There is no private shuttle to the hotel but a cab fare is less than 20 pounds. The hotel hoppa bus that runs to all the Heathrow hotels costs 6 pounds pp if you buy it on the bus. We have never used the hoppa bus because a taxi is relatively inexpensive for 2 people with a ton of luggage.

Have stayed at several Heathrow hotels before but not this one. Turned out to be a great choice. Easy access off Bath Road, parking near hotel door. Room was modern, clean and with comfortable quiet a/c. The bathroom deserves a special mention with good lighting, dry shelf space by the sink and a walk in shower with a simple on/off switch and temperature control away from the water. The lobby is very attractive with a pleasant informal Carluccio Italian restaurant which served us a good dinner and had a not too fussy breakfast buffet. Staff good too. Only problem was too few manning check in on arrival

Jesse, Sophia, and Richelle are amazing in the executive lounge. We needed to come into the lounge with all of our luggage and bags. It’ll it was no problem. They were very accommodating with bringing water, drinks, and clearing plates. Always ensuring we had what we needed. Will stay again!

I booked the hotel for a family holiday, executive room with executive lounge access for 10 nights, initially was given room 5085, room was outdated with broken furniture , electric switch casually lying on the carpet, unsafe for kids. Immidiatley reported this to reception, reception was shocked when she saw the pictures and kindly switched room to 5050.
The room was full of dust since we checked in , requested reception/staff for 2 continous day to get the room properly clean as wife is asthamatic and we have a 3 month old, nothing was done until 30th asthma flared up and kid started coughing , rushed to the counter and complained , cleaning was done next day but damage was done as whole family got sick and bed bound for 2 days (30&31) . Could not go out to enjoy new year celebration. Could not go to executive lounge for breakfast, lunch or dinner, on request breakfast was sent to the room as an acknoledgement of shortcomings however when requested again was rudely told executive lounge is not room service, despite the fact that we were made stay in a room full of dust and made whole family sick for 2 days. This hotel is shiny from outside only, inside is really outdated with wobbly lifts, thin walls can hear lift shafts sounds from a considerable distance. Unsafe for the family with kids, avoid at all cost

Awful hotel! Beds are rock hard, food in restaurant is average with terrible service and to top things off I get woken up at 1:30am by a member of staff giving me the bill for my stay even though a preauth was taken upon check-in! When i complained about being woken up for this ridiculous reason the obnoxious and arrogant reply i got from the tall lad with glasses behind the reception was completely unprofessional and unacceptable as he informed me this was all hotels policy's to issue a bill in the middleof the night before checkout!!! I stay in hotels all over the world and never once has this process been a policy, I recived no appology and was incredibly angry as I had an 18 hour flight ahead of me with no sleep! Will never stay here again and will seriously consider ever staying at a marriott hotel again if this their policy to wake guests up in the middle of the night to issue the bill and if it is their policy to employ such rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional staff! Avoid like the plague!!!

Dear Kmt010684, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay with us. I am truly sorry to hear about your experience with the uncomfortable beds, service in the restaurant, and being disturbed during the night. This is certainly not the level of hospitality we strive to provide. We were given two tickets for free drinks in the Skybar! Something new for Marriott. Clear that Marriott is trying to increase food & beverage sales with this concept. Couldn't really see out the windows in the Skybar as they were frosted. After we finished our drinks (one cocktail and one ginger ale) and food the waiter told us the drink tickets were not good for cocktails. REALLY? The tickets did not list any restrictions. Food was good. Bartender was more than willing to make his first White Russian for me. He did well! No washcloths in room. Room is for minimalists who don't pack anything. No outlets in bathroom for hair dryer! had to hunt for hairdryer. Two drawers in room, one small one long. A/C worked great. Bathroom walls are frosted glass.

There is public transportation on the same block of the hotel and also across the street. The 222 bus can take you around the area and also to the metro.
3 ways, 1. Local bus from LHR central bus station (tap credit card or oyster card in reader, was around £1.75 ) 2 Hoppa Bus (LHR hotel bus system), or Taxi. Local bus was only 15 minutes from Central Bus station in airport but may be hard with a lot of bags.
There was no shuttle bus so we got an Uber for about £20. It’s about ten minutes. We initially waited for a service bus but you have to pay for that and it’s slower so not worth the hassle
There are more places to choose from in the Hayes area.
